Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@PassTheWater a good pair of high waisted leggings, or a big top and jeans open haha.

I don't know if I'm getting the sickness bug that's going about becauSe my sickness is next level today, and nothing is easing it 🤢

Magpiefeather · 03/12/2019 12:15

Oh no @bubblesqueek! Look after yourself, rest if you can

@PassTheWater I’ve gone straight for the jeans with a massive stretchy bit at the top. Wore them til quite late on in last pregnancy. Not going to lie they’re pretty baggy now round the bum but so much comfier than my normal jeans. Couldn’t stand the tummy squeezing any more! My maternity leggings are great and not baggy at all even at 10weeks. They’re just mega stretchy I suppose!

Smiffette · 03/12/2019 13:58

People who have bought maternity stuff, did you just buy your normal size in the maternity clothes?
I don't know whether to go a size up or not.... my size 12 jeans still fit (currently 12+1) just very tight on tummy by end of day.

Magpiefeather · 03/12/2019 13:59

Yes I’d buy usual size @Smiffette

bubblesqueek · 06/12/2019 09:38

I'm 11 weeks Monday with my second and I'll starting to show.. anyone else? Xx

Magpiefeather · 06/12/2019 11:29

Yes! It’s getting very hard to hide... (I’m 11 weeks on Tuesday with 2nd)

Piecrust32 · 06/12/2019 15:02

I had my blood tests results and I need to redo them as the lab has made a mistake ....
I’m now worrying myself stupid there’s something wrong
Am I just overthinking this 🙈

StrawberryGoo · 06/12/2019 18:11

I’m showing - but that may be the crisps I’m constantly eating!

piecrust I’m sure if they say the lab made a mistake then it’s nothing sinister. I know it’s concerning not to get the results but no reason to think there’s anything wrong Flowers

Piecrust32 · 06/12/2019 21:24

@StrawberryGoo thank you ❤️ I’m worrier in life have anxiety and ocd so any little thing out of my routine can really put me in a tizz x

Cornishbumpkin · 06/12/2019 22:21

@Piecrust32 I wouldn't worry if they said it's a lab error. I work in a hospital and bloods are always getting messed up if they're wrongly labelled or can coagulate in the tubes if not filled/ mixed enough, they can lose sample and all sorts so I really wouldn't worry xx

Bikbikmum · 08/12/2019 09:07

Hi ladies, I am 11+1 today. We had to open window last night in order to sleep. I felt so hot and uncomfortable, couldn't sleep. Does anyone else experience a similar aituation?

My test results: do I need to call them or will they call me? How do I learn my test results? Can GP have access to these results?

bubblesqueek · 09/12/2019 07:37

I'm loosing weight rather then gaining it but not being sick is that normal? I am literally just full of worry this time around x

Izabela86 · 09/12/2019 07:44

@Bikbikmum I’m the same! I’m a little behind you at almost 9 weeks but gosh I keep being so hot. Which is not very like me! I’m normally needing extra layers etc and now the only one sitting in a T-shirt at work!

bubblesqueek · 09/12/2019 10:02

How is everyone feeling today? And what week you all on?

I'm on week 11 today, boobs are still sore but not as sore, feel sick when hungry and major headaches. All I want to eat is salads and cucumber 😂 change from the crisps and chocolate the other week xx

marmitecheesetoast · 09/12/2019 10:17

I’m 11 weeks too @bubblesqueek and also very into cucumber at the moment! Think it’s because it’s so refreshing and hydrating as also really enjoying grapes, mango and apples! Although I also still want to eat a lot of pasta and cheese too!!

I’m still being pretty sick which is bloody grim and boobs still sore but possibly a bit less sore than they have been. I’m still bloody exhausted but a toddler who is testing all the boundaries and not doing a lot of sleeping won’t be helping there!

@Bikbikmum do you mean the blood test results or the results from 12 week scan testing for Downs/Edwards etc?
I was told with bloods they would only ring me if there was a problem. From memory last time with the 12 week scan testing it was a letter but they might call if the results aren’t low risk? Sorry I can’t remember exactly. Of course it might be different in different areas too.

I’ve got my scan on Thursday. I can’t wait, but equally anxious in case anything has gone wrong, it’s such a nervous wait isn’t it

bubblesqueek · 09/12/2019 10:23

@Bikbikmum I was told if you were not contacted in three days by phone no news is good news and you'll get a letter in the post 2/3 weeks

@marmitecheesetoast yes I'm with you on the pasta!!! Love pasta and massive bowls of it too ha, Iv gone off meat tho aswell which worries me so trying to eat more fish.

Must be something in the air with kids at the minute mine is also pushing boundary's ha, I felt awful telling her off last night ended up crying to myself after x

marmitecheesetoast · 09/12/2019 11:25

@bubblesqueek I had a massive bowl of tagliatelle with butter for breakfast the other day 😳🙈
Oh I know, I keep getting emotional thinking about how much my daughters life will change not being the only child anymore and feeling sad for her!

bubblesqueek · 09/12/2019 11:42

@marmitecheesetoast mmmm that sounds amazing ha!! Me too, I got sad the other day because it's going to be her last Christmas alone, but my partner took it the wrong way and didn't understand what I mean, I think it means more to us mams then it does the men we see it a different way, when are you telling your daughter? X

Bikbikmum · 09/12/2019 12:37

@bubblesqueek @marmitecheesetoast thank you both. I was asking for blood tests during the first midwife appointment not 12 week combined tests. Perhaps since I didnt hear from anyone, that's good news

I am also massively into carbs! I eat lots of pasta, bread, rice crackers and cheese. Lots of hummus too. I used to eat lots of greens before pregnancy, but now almost none! Hope things improve during second trimester.

marmitecheesetoast · 09/12/2019 12:45

Yes @Bikbikmum I’ve heard nothing re my bloods so presuming all ok! Totally with you on the carbs... we obviously need it!

@bubblesqueek I’m not sure, not for a while yet as she’s only 2.5 so it seems far too far a away for her to have any concept of it really. Maybe sometimes after the 20 week scan? I have ordered some books about becoming a big sister which I’ll read with her maybe after that point. I do wonder if she’ll start to notice something’s different but then she’s seen me being sick numerous times and not seem remotely bothered 😂 🤷🏻‍♀️ What are you thinking?

LassoOfTruth · 09/12/2019 16:18

Today I have been wfh and have eaten half a block of cheese. By itself. Like, just taking it out of the fridge and biting into it until it was all gone. Just thought I'd share as I cannot admit to this in real life (it's my cheese, DH and DD don't eat cheddar for reasons best known to themselves). 12-week scan tomorrow, I'm possibly feeling a bit anxious! I've also been ridiculously emotional the last few days - crying at the news/adverts/when I look at the toddler sleeping etc. Is it just me?!

bubblesqueek · 09/12/2019 16:58

I'm a bit worried tonight, my boobs are still sore but havnt been as sickly today.. but I just have lost that feeling of being pregnant, dunno if I'm just being an over worrier x

bubblesqueek · 09/12/2019 17:03

@LassoOfTruth I used to do that with cheese when i wasn't pregnant. Not to worry 😂 normal to be anxious & yes Iv cried at all sorts last week and I don't cry or show emotion ever ha xx

HL123 · 09/12/2019 18:02

Had 12 week scan today (although measuring 13 weeks) - so crazy to see it, and that it resembles a proper little baby now Grin

Piecrust32 · 09/12/2019 18:14

Thank you @Cornishbumpkin ❤️
