Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@EmBrum Thankyou! Hope all is well with yours too x

Cornishbumpkin · 08/11/2019 21:16

@SunnyFlover you can have a couple of caffeinated drinks a day and can have decaff tea/coffee. A lot of us are finding that we've just gone off tea and coffee, for me it's the idea of the milk with hot water 🤢

PassTheWater · 09/11/2019 06:05

@Squisha82
Thank you very much! Are you going for an early scan too? I have booked for next Saturday and while I kid myself that this will give me peace of mind, realistically I’m sure i will be looking forward to the scheduled 12 week scan for, you know, peace of mind Grin

gemf87 · 09/11/2019 06:32

Hi ladies. New here, 31 from Essex, UK. Due date is roughly 03.07.2020 (if my calculations are correct). Think I'm about 6weeks and 1 day. Symptoms at the minute are sore breasts and tiredness. Have had some cramping and spotting but keep being reassured its normal! Have booked an early scan for a week tomorrow as can't help but worry, 12 week scan is booked for after my wedding abroad in December 😊 I'm excited!

Squisha82 · 09/11/2019 08:10

@PassTheWater yes we have one on the Sunday - I'm counting down the days. Have you had your first midwife appointment yet? Had mine on Thursday which made everything suddenly seem real. Now just impatiently waiting for my 12 week scan date

SunnyFlover · 09/11/2019 08:19

Hi ladies, I am a bit worried though... Maybe I was getting too excited too early..?
Line is very faint and not any darker, even more fainter 48 h later...

Top rest- done on Thursday, Bottom test - today.

My symptoms are all still as they were all week.
Do you have any positive outcome stories for me so that I can calm down..? 😞

Line is a line- I know I am pregnant, no bleeding no abnormal pains, but I wonder why so faint at 22/23 DPO...

Due end of June/start of July 2020
SunnyFlover · 09/11/2019 08:23

Let it dry a little to get a fair comparison.
-top rest Thursday , bottom test - Saturday ( 30 min ago)

@PassTheWater Your journey is so similar to mine. I was TTC for 2 years, had my first meeting with fertility docs to plan in ivf for after Christmas and must have conceived the same week! A little miracle bean! I'm 36 and super anxious so had an early scan at 7 weeks, now 8+ 3ish I think. Was amazing to see that heart beat 😊
I've been so lucky to not actually be sick but feel sick all the time so permanently eating and gaining weight 😬 Midwife appt is a week Monday but time is dragging by so slowly!! Just want to get to that 22 week scan!

BabyBird20 · 09/11/2019 10:41

@SunnyFlover maybe try the clear blue digital with weeks test? It tells you how maybe weeks pregnant you are since ovulation? Might reassure you a bit more? It could just be the tests?

Magpiefeather · 09/11/2019 16:26

@BabyBird20 oh god me too, just eating eating all the time to try and not throw up Envy feel sick all day every day. Had put my faith in Sea Bands but they’re not doing anything for me Sad

Have been sick a few times, but slightly concerned about all the weight I’ll be piling on by eating non stop...

LassoOfTruth · 09/11/2019 16:40

Does anyone have their 1st scan (2-14 weeks) booked in yet (not counting if you had a private early scan). By the date they've given me (6th Jan) I'll be almost 16 weeks - all being well - which seems very late to me. Was really hoping that I'd get it before Christmas so that I could explain why I wasn't guzzling wine in the usual festive fashion. I'm sure the last time I had my scan at around 13 weeks. Maybe the midwife sent the hospital the wrong due date (they have past form for this kind of c**k up). Or is 16 weeks actually fine? I don't really want to wait that long!! Confused

Squisha82 · 09/11/2019 17:55

Hi @LassoOfTruth my scan appointment came this morning for the 11th December - so I'll be 12+4. They say in the guidelines I got that scans are normally between 8-14 weeks (a bigger window than I thought).
I feel for you with the Christmas festivities - I'd question it with your midwife or doctor as that seems really far away

DripDrip · 09/11/2019 19:23

OMG I'm pregnant and I've got my BFP this morning. I'm still numb and I had to tell someone.
Age 34
Due date: 9 July
Baby #1
TTC cycle 1
Symptoms: my poor boobs feel very sore and although I'm partial to a snack I've done nothing but eat like a horse past week. Also feel some mild cramping and tenderness down south.

DramaLama2019 · 09/11/2019 19:29

@LassoOfTruth if you have opted for combined screening your scan must be brought forward as it cannot be done after I think 14+1x

LassoOfTruth · 09/11/2019 21:36

@DramaLama I think you're right, it looks like if doing the combined screening for chromosomal disorders it needs to be before 14 weeks. I'll see if it can be brought forward. I honestly think the midwife got the dates wrong or something. I haven't even looked at my notes yet- crikey having a toddler and being 1st-trimester pregnant is tiring! It's bad enough when you don't have a boob-obsessed 2 year old hanging off you constantly, as all of you know! My poor brain. At least I'm one of the very lucky ones who isn't feeling very sick. Smile

DramaLama2019 · 09/11/2019 22:05

@LassoOfTruth yeah I'd definitely query it. The quad test can be done but if you've opted for the combined it'll need bringing forward. I'm also not feeling sick yet - but have had a stinking cold for over a week now so maybe it's blocked out any general pregnancy sickness ! What's your EDD?

30hun · 09/11/2019 23:17

Can I join please!!
I’m 30.
Due on 4th of July .
Baby no 1 conceived on first cycle - have endometriosis so really thought we’d be trying for ages but surprise ! So feeling bit overwelhmed ...
Really wanted to tell my mum and dad in the funnest way so booked early scan for 8 weeks but now just entered wk 6 and this NAUSEA is killer - I can barely eat! Got the sea bands and worked yesterday for few hours then feel crap today , ate two ice lolly’s tonight could have had the whole box tbh ... any other tips of how to make yourself eat when you feel so crap?? Coz now feel like I’m feeling sick coz I’ve eaten barely nothing compared to normal...have a massive sweet tooth and all that stuff gives me the gawks even looking at it now ! Someone tell me it gets easier ?

Congrats to everyone too !

Can’t wait till I’ve told mum so I can get all her advice too but hoping you guys can help too when your going through same stuff ☺️

Magpiefeather · 10/11/2019 06:15

Anyone else still waiting for their scan date?

Smiffette · 10/11/2019 07:16

@Magpiefeather I don't have my 12 weeks scan yet but then my booking in appointment isn't until the 19th when I'll be 10+1.
I do have a private scan today when I am super nervous about! 😬🙈

PassTheWater · 10/11/2019 08:11

@Squisha82
My first mid wife’s appointment is this coming Thursday. It’s also in the middle of the day which makes finding an excuse to get out of work quite difficult! I’m still feeling quite cautious about it all, my brain is definitely fighting my heart! Once I see that everything is where it needs to be I think I will be able to relax (a little!)

PassTheWater · 10/11/2019 08:15

@BabyBird20 It’s incredible how things work out isn’t it. I’m glad it ended up happening naturally. For one it’s peace of mind that actually, it can happen! And secondly, I was not so keen on having to go through the ivf process and how invasive it is. I admire the women that do. Of course, it’s something that we were prepared and ready for but fingers crossed that all remains sticky for everyone. I won’t even buy myself a new bra until I’ve had my first scan Hmm Smile

SunnyFlover · 10/11/2019 08:56

Good morning ladies, my test at 24 DPO ( 5weeks +4 ) still looks very faint... no progression of it getting darker.
But I feel pregnant, and I swear to god my tummy has changed ( mild cramping every day for the past 3 weeks indicates the growth), my breast are getting bigger and it's not just me that thinks so - partner pointed this out and he is totally convinced it's much bigger. Discharge is also all as per "perfect pregnancy" description. So consider and worried!

I have an appointment with doctor tomorrow for blood test and overall check up as that fest drives me mad.

Anyone experienced similar..?

Bikbikmum · 10/11/2019 18:10

Evening everyone, hope you are all fine! I am 7+0 today and I have a massive belly! Not sure whether I gain too much weight 😂 or I will have a very big belly over the next couple of months! I don't think I will be able to hide this at work until dating scan (12th week)

gmailconfusion · 10/11/2019 18:40

hello everyone!
Im a bit late to this, but its been a hectic three weeks with a funeral, three scans and a a&E visit for suspected appendicitis, plus a whole other load of chaos, but i think im due 22 june, the midwife rang me yesterday to arrange my booking appointment and i've had a letter through to confirm my scan on the 19th december, and i'm vomiting ten times a day

EPSpartyof3 · 11/11/2019 17:46
