Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@BabyBird20 I'm just missing the happiness part at the moment 😂😂
I feel for you having to go back and entertain a classroom full. Hopefully you can relax on breaks? I told my boss last week that I was pregnant as I literally couldn't last the day, so went to wfh. It's a lot earlier than I would have liked to tell her but I was feeling awful

BabyBird20 · 03/11/2019 16:52

@Squisha82 Haha me too, curled up in a ball under a blanket trying to decide what I can eat now to try and stop feeling sick again!! I have told my TA who is brilliant and trying to do more to help me out, but was hoping not to tell the Head yet! Will have to build a nest in the book corner and play sleeping lions a lot! 😂

Smiffette · 03/11/2019 18:35

My nausea has been particularly bad this evening ☹️ had something to eat and it settled it for all of half an hour and now it's back! I could quite easily go to bed now too, so sleepy 💤

LmaWanderlust · 03/11/2019 18:40

Eeekk this is all so exciting having so many closely expecting mummas in one thread!

I'm 24, this is our first little bubba and we conceived luckily within the first month of trying.

Due date 21st June, currently feeling exhausted and nauseas when hungry too! (seem to get hungry super quick) and swollen boobs and sore nipples.

Very excited to have my first midwife appointment next week Grin

LmaWanderlust · 03/11/2019 18:41

I am in the exact same situation right now, curled up under a blanket and all! Finding that if I don't eat what I fancy, as soon as I fancy it, I struggle to get out of the vicious hungry/sicky circle!

Squisha82 · 03/11/2019 19:16

@BabyBird20 sleeping lions is genius! I wonder if they'd consider that in my office 🤔

BabyBird20 · 03/11/2019 21:04

@LmaWanderlust congrats!! I'm awful if I get hungry! Then I feel too sick to eat! I'm gaining weight so fast I'm sure people will suspect soon enough!!
@Squisha82 I think you could give it a go, new office policy, everyone has to play sleeping lions after lunch? 😂

LmaWanderlust · 03/11/2019 21:36

Me too! I have motion sickness bands for my wrists and have been keeping a packet a ginger nuts and/or rich tea with me, which helps tide me over a bit :) just in case that may help you or anyone else too!

TheFoz · 03/11/2019 23:42

Hi all,
5+3 here. Due date according to calculator is July 2. Has a mc in August so praying this one sticks as I’m 41.
First baby with OH, we have two each from previous marriages. Feeling good so far, boobs are agony and slight nausea at times. GP appointment booked for Nov 15, hopefully she’ll refer me to the EPU.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone Smile

Blizy · 04/11/2019 07:34

Congratulation TheFoz! How old are your other children? I have a nearly 5 year old ds.

I know I shouldn't have but I poas again this morning and for my 3+ on the clear blue. I'm feeling a little more positive, the nausea and sore boobs are defo helping! I have a scan on Thursday.

Rachybiscuit26 · 04/11/2019 08:06

Aww all sounds like we are going through the mill. I'm a massive chocolate fan........and I cant even stomach the stuff at the moment. I just want bland crappy food. Nothing is appealing. Everytime I eat I'm bloated and have lots of
Gas which gives such crampy pains. Feel like it's still sinking in a bit. Just hoping everything goes ok.

marmitecheesetoast · 04/11/2019 09:11

Is anyone else feeling constantly thirsty? Like I’m drinking loads but still thirsty! My lips have gone soooo dry too, and my scalp has suddenly gone dry and flaky Hmm I don’t remember this intense thirst from last time. I was up 4 times to pee last night which was even more annoying as DD slept through the night (very rare occurrence!)

We had a really busy weekend with family birthday parties and friends visiting, feeling exhausted back at work this morning, hoping for an easy day!

SammyPage · 04/11/2019 09:52

Morning everyone sorry I'm not being rude and ignoring the nausea has turned into full blown sickness since yesterday walking around Sainsbury's trying to keep the smells at bay but as soon as I hit the little cooked chicken part pow.... God I was a complete write off havent been about to keep anything down since yesterday my partner's gone to work and I just feel like curling up in a ball. I feel like rubbish my partner has never seen me so poorly I'm usually fine and troop along with everything and anything! @EVenner how are you I read your comment and just know what you're feeling @haisleya we think we'll hope we are 9 weeks today and ihave been fine just worrying about what's going on but in the past 48 hours my God girl Christmas seems like an impossibility to keep it from my mum and sister when all I want is a cuddle and them to ask questions it's killing me. Hope you're all feeling okay and I really hope I am soon 😷 xxx

TheFoz · 04/11/2019 09:52

Thank you @Blizy. Dd1 will be 18 and dd2 12 when baba comes. My OH’s kids will be 12 and 10 so we are totally going back to basics!

SammyPage · 04/11/2019 10:04

@Magpiefeather thank you. I need you in my life right now. I am so trying to be like yeah I'm fine but easier said then done isn't it. Where I'm small I feel like I have a little podge today I have been sick since yesterday but since right up to yesterday just been gagging and constant nausea yesterday and this morning complete sickness. No appetite either just really not this happy first timer right now Haloween Sad xxx

Magpiefeather · 04/11/2019 10:09

@Sammypage sorry to hear you’re feeling so rough. The sickness is bloody horrible isn’t it. I feel so miserable not being able to enjoy food anymore! Suddenly drinking less tea is no challenge at all, everything turns my stomach. Except sweet things (which I discovered on Halloween!) - but I can’t just eat ice cream all the time! I’ll be the size of a house!!!

SammyPage · 04/11/2019 10:25

@magpiefeather it's happened all of the sudden we was all happy like woo then this weekend we crashed my partner works 6 days a week we have a puppy who's 11 weeks old as we have been trying for a baby for over a year and then I found out we was pregnant. I think I have just crashed. And my God tea was like my best friend we got decaf and then I gagged as I could smell the milk through my tea! it's like I have a chef's nose I smell one thing in the dinner and it just puts me right off because it over powers everything else. Thank you again for my little I'm not alone it's hard when we are trying to keep it a secret right now I don't want to see anyone it's madness.

showmewhatyougot · 04/11/2019 10:46

It's amazing how sensitive to smells we become. And weird what triggers you, I had my first nausea moments yesterday, over tuna mayo, and gravy (not together obviously) I usually love both :(

Does anyone know once something offends you, if you can eat it again in the near future, I don't think I can live without tuna, or gravy I mean can you even have a roast without it!

BabyBird20 · 04/11/2019 11:37

@marmitecheesetoast I am the same as you! Permanently thirsty, downing pints of water and never satisfied but needing the loo more than ever!! It's so weird! I can get through 3 pints in a night at the moment!! 😬

SammyPage · 04/11/2019 11:43

@showmewhatyougot I wouldn't even risk tuna at the moment I'm just about okay with a crumpet or a plain ham sandwich I can't even stomach cooking and food is my life anything and everything is killing me off right now how far gone are you? x

Rachybiscuit26 · 04/11/2019 11:58

@marmitecheesetoast yes I'm soooo thirsty I'm drinking anything and everything. Ice water especially.

showmewhatyougot · 04/11/2019 12:11

@SammyPage the calculators have me at 5 + 4 so very early still. I had a McDonald's hash brown a banana and water this morning, all I could stomach, kinda dreading opening the fridge for lunch.

SammyPage · 04/11/2019 12:31

@showmewhatyougot is this your first baby? It's madness I was fine like woo this is going to be so easy then I had a constant gag to everything. My other half thought I was going mad as I was an emotional wreck for a few weeks before we thought let's get the clear blues out..... We have been trying for over a year and had our fair share of heart ache so i will take how I'm feeling for 7 months time a healthy baby but Jesus I'm not going to lie im struggling the fridge got me and I don't have nothing stinky in there it was just the fridge smell. It's so strange how much happens week by week to our bodies to accommodate our baby.

marmitecheesetoast · 04/11/2019 13:15

@BabyBird20 @Rachybiscuit26 glad it’s not just me - and yes, it has to be ice cold! If my water is room temp I can’t face drinking it, what a diva ha ha!

@showmewhatyougot I guess it’s different for everyone but in my last pregnancy I could not handle roast chicken at all, I was happily eating it for lunch this weekend!

Coffee is the one smell that’s really sending me over the edge at the moment, I’m having to make DH drink his horribly strong black coffees in a different room to me! 🤢

Have other people booked their flu jabs yet? I’ve just changed GP practices so not on the system of the new place just yet to get it booked. Hopefully can get it sorted in the next week or two.

Jmc74 · 04/11/2019 13:25

Anybody else my age? I'm 45 and 7 weeks pregnant (4th child).
