Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@BabyBird20 yeah! Aww, fingers crossed for you! I’m sure it will all be healthy and fine 💗💗 We we’re both surprisingly unemotional by the experience... DH said it was a bit little going to New York or Paris, you’ve seen it so many times on telly it’s all just a bit like, “ah, there is is”.

Blossomingflower94 · 29/10/2019 13:36

@firsttimemamasel I've told mine already because it requires me to do an alternative job due to dangers of my day job.

They have to keep it confidential and make reasonable adjustments for you.

marmitecheesetoast · 29/10/2019 19:58

Ah how special @EVenner

@1sttimemamasel I’m planning on waiting to tell my work til after 12 week scan but I don’t have anything in my job that would need to change with being pregnant. If you’re feeling really stressed and overwhelmed though it might be worth having a chat with your manager?

That’s exiting @BabyBird20 at least you’ve got a date to work towards now! I called the midwife service last week and they said they’d send a letter out with booking appt ‘in the next 14 days’ - seems a really long time to wait just to get the appointment!! Hoping it comes sooner rather than later I’ll be obsessively checking the post!

5 weeks today and just feeling really sore and achey. My hips and back and around my ribs are sore, and my boobs!

Hi all can I join in?
Age:37
EDD 6th July 2020
TTC for 18 months (lost count of cycles) this is baby#2.
I had a mmc last Christmas which is making me feel so anxious but I'm having stronger symptoms this time already- definitely I'm weeing loads!! But I'm also doing lots of knicker checking too as I can't quite believe AF isn't coming.
We were due to have our first appointment at the fertility clinic next week so this is a lovely surprise

EmBrum · 29/10/2019 20:20

Welcome @dragonmummy17 - congratulations!!!

EmBrum · 29/10/2019 20:27

@lynds4536 congratulations to you too!!! Welcome! And I liked your TMI- I'm totally the same with the knocked checks, especially after quite a few days of implantation spotting. Thankfully nothing red though. Anxiety is my main thing right now - no nausea yet...

Emfair90 · 29/10/2019 20:27

Hey guys!

So happy to have found this thread!

Due date: 28th June
Baby: #1
TTC cycle: 1
Symptoms: nausea, seriously sore boobs, very tired, slight cramping and shooting pains, very very mild sickness when hungry.

It's my first! We were very lucky to conceive first go, but I feel really nervous about what to expect in regards to MC. Very worried I will have one, maybe I've just been reading too much about it.

Wishing away the next 12 weeks to get what will feel like the 'safe zone'

EmBrum · 29/10/2019 20:44

Welcome @Emfair90 and congratulations! I'm super anxious too I must confess. Just trying to take each week as it comes - fingers crossed x

dragonmummy17 · 29/10/2019 21:03

@EmBrum thanks... and to you too

PlinkPlink · 29/10/2019 21:20

Hi everyone,

I'm a little late to the party but hopefully I can join?

Age: 31
TTC Cycle: 3
Baby No: 2
Due date: 24/06/2020

I'm only 6 weeks but I'd been struggling far worse with my morning sickness this time around. This one is a strong one!! I was feeling so bloody miserable I ended up ringing my GP and taking some meds. Prescribed Promethazine - just the one before bed at the moment.

If any of you are struggling at the moment with the sickness and nausea, please do go to your GP and ask for some help. The earlier you treat it, the better - once it goes past a certain point, it gets harder to treat.

Anyone else feeling like they want to nap the day away? Grin not possible with a toddler in situ.

MRSRCH · 29/10/2019 21:33

My goodness my nipples are so so sore this evening! DH said they look really red and Im literally sat in my living room resting my cold bottle of water on them every now and then to cool them off Grin

MsMiaWallace · 30/10/2019 07:11

SammyPage · 30/10/2019 07:44

Need advice I have only.Just found out we have worked out 7 weeks from my last period 6/9/19 but I had spotting on the 27th it lasted two days would you count that as your last bleed or my period? I'm 30 and new to all of this... I keep reading but all different. I'm struggling so bad with nausea for the past week we done a test Monday as I woke up crying over nothing... I have a cold also just feel totally rotten need some advice I called Monday and my doctors didn't even care just gave me a midwives number who are going to write to me is this normal? Please help me

mrssunshinexxx · 30/10/2019 07:59

@SammyPage my advise is buy a clear blue digital that will tell you how many weeks you are

SammyPage · 30/10/2019 08:14

We have it's saying 3+ and that's the highest it goes. Just thought my doctors would of at least offered me a check up as I haven't been seen by my GP in years to be honest. so now do I just wait for a letter unless I know for sure I'm over 6 weeks to go for a private scan for reassurance? Can tell it's my first time I'm super confused and when it's just me and my partner who knows at the moment it's impossible to ask advice without the guessing game but we want to try and keep it a surprise for christmas. But me gagging over any slight smell is a tad impossible at the moment.

EVenner · 30/10/2019 08:16

@SammyPage where I live the midwifes is self referential. I googled midwife + the local hospital and came to the self referral that way I called and they have been super helpful. Having a home visit in 2 weeks.

EVenner · 30/10/2019 08:25

@SammyPage oh I haven’t seen my GP either. Was never on the cards. I suppose they might assume you’re healthy if you’ve conceived and so on but they said to me to get in touch if I feel unwell etc

SammyPage · 30/10/2019 08:38

@EVenna I feel okay it's just typical symptoms i think. It's all new to me I'm so tired and just trying to get on like normal but I feel like everything stinks I'm a clean freak and I'm sat here now looking at the washing my other half is at work he's like relax but I can't keep checking my knickers like I'm a paranoid mess we have been trying to conceive since last year so I'm still in shock I think I have wanted this for so long and we are finally pregnant. X

EmBrum · 30/10/2019 08:55

Morning @SammyPage aw lovely, welcome, I know it's such an anxious time. Take some big deep breaths. I'm sure it's fine. Take another test if you need to but if you've done one in last day or so then that's good :)
Sorry about the docs, but yes maybe an early scan will help. Big hugs x

BabyBird20 · 30/10/2019 09:03

@SammyPage I'm in a similar boat, 1st time here and had no idea what to expect so was really disappointed when the docs wouldn't see me! Waited a week for the midwife service to call me back and now have an appointment for 3 weeks time! The anxiety and waiting is a nightmare! Trying to stay really positive and have booked my early scan for this Friday when I'll be 7+ 2 to hopefully find all is well!!

BabyBird20 · 30/10/2019 09:05

@MsMiaWallace we have the same due date!! I had awful nausea and heartburn over the weekend but am really paranoid as not had much of anything yesterday!! Still exhausted and a bit of heartburn after eating so hoping all is still on track!

SammyPage · 30/10/2019 09:22

@EmBrum it's crazy how alone I felt guessing since Monday morning to plucking up the courage to write a comment thinking am I over reacting for nothing I would feel more better knowing if I'm 7 or 4 and that's a massive difference in my eyes getting over the first 12 weeks. But my nausea and symptoms are making me think 7 as I've felt rotten for over a week. Thank you for your words this morning I'm so happy I have joined everyone on the sort of the same journey together we want to try and keep our news till Christmas but seems I can't even walk into the garden without heaving to the smell. X

SammyPage · 30/10/2019 09:28

@BabyBird20 my doctors didn't even congratulate me I was On hold for over half hour with my partner holding the tests in disbelief to be told don't need to call us here's the number lol. I just don't want to not be over 6 weeks and book a private scan. I feel like I am as my symptoms. I don't like this guessing game with a spotting in the middle but I'm only guessing it was implantation as it's my first time. We didn't know the doctors receptionist burst our happy bubble with her Monday blues lol x

BabyBird20 · 30/10/2019 09:45

@SammyPage I can imagine the disappointment, I was the same when I rang the docs all excited!! But the symptoms are a great sign so 🤞 all is well and on track for you!! It sounds like the spotting was more likely an implantation bleed, though I'm no expert! From what I can work out, the clear blue digital tests tell you how many weeks since conception, so if that's saying 3+ then your official dates would be a couple more on top of that wouldn't they as they go back to the lmp! It's all so confusing!

PlinkPlink · 30/10/2019 10:04

Wow @MsMiaWallace baby no 3?! How exciting!

You're about 4 days further on than me. So you're about 7 weeks now? When is your MW appointment?
How old are your DC? I bet they'll be excited about another sibling!
