Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

Hiya guys!

Yes number 3!
I've got 2 boys almost 8 & 5!
They're very excited!!
I am very scared!! Lol! It feels all fresh & new!

I had a MC between my boys & I have a heart shaped womb. DS1 was undiagnosed breech, natural delivery (!) probably because of my womb shape but DS2 was fine, text book delivery etc. So who knows!
I just feel really anxious this time!

I'm around 7 weeks I think.
MW booking in on 12th nov.

Hi all, Hope everyone is ok! The last couple of days I’ve been having like pulling feelings behind my belly button but it’s not painful or uncomfortable, I was just wondering if anybody else has been having this too? Xx

Squisha82 · 30/10/2019 11:47

@1sttimemamasel I have had those feelings on and off for the last few days, today they seem to have stopped though. I'm hoping it's just my body growing to accommodate the little tadpole. I don't think it's anything to worry about unless the pain is sharp and lasts for a considerable amount of time. If you are worried though, always worth getting it checked out

EmBrum · 30/10/2019 11:54

@1sttimemamasel and @Squisha82 so glad you said this - same here on and off - a gentle pulling. Aww baby is growing! 😍

MsMiaWallace · 30/10/2019 11:59

I've just ordered a couple of Maternity bits off ASOS. They've got 20% off & I couldn't resist.
I'll just put them away till needed. Probs around Christmas time!

1sttimemamasel · 30/10/2019 12:13

@EmBrum and @Squisha82 Aww that’s reassuring I’m not the only one - it’s not painful just gentle pulling 😍 I’m still anxiously waiting to hear from midwife with my booking appointment, this is my first pregnancy and baby so when I phoned my doctors they said I didn’t have to provide a urine sample or go for blood tests to confirm pregnancy act and that they have referred me to the midwife and I’ll hear in due course 🙈 Hoping will hear soon. How are you feeling? Xx

Magpiefeather · 30/10/2019 12:13

Only 5 weeks + 1 day and Already feeling so so sick 🤢 haven’t been sick yet thankfully but with my first I was awfully sick for the first 16 ish weeks and then intermittently throughout the rest of the pregnancy, so I’m gearing myself up for similar. Got a constant supply of carby snacks, sick bags hidden in the car and all my handbags. Going to try sea bands this time, just ordered some. anyone had any success with them?

Last night sneezed and all my abdominal muscles had a moment of cramp! Showed me how hard my body must already be working to make room for everything.

Mainly just exhausted. 2.5 year old is lovely and good as gold but very demanding and doesn’t understand why I don’t want her to ride me like a horsey. We are just in process of buying a house, then we have to do a quick renovation and all the moving, hopefully before Xmas or early New Year. So wondering how I’ll cope with all that since everyday life is knackering me so much at the moment .

Hope everyone is doing ok

BabyBird20 · 30/10/2019 12:47

Is anyone else feeling stupidly emotional? Keep getting teary at the most ridiculous things at the moment!!

Squisha82 · 30/10/2019 13:18

@1sttimemamasel we are in this together 😊
Midwifes seem to work differently up and down the country, I rang my drs when I first found out and they got the midwife to call me back a few weeks ago. I now have my appointment with her booked in for next week.
Generally just exhausted and nauseous this end. Enjoying having bigger boobs though!! Hope you're ok?

MrsS147 · 30/10/2019 13:32

@BabyBird20 I've been really emotional! I told my parents and siblings yesterday and couldn't stop crying! Then cried at most of the Bake Off too 😂

@1sttimemamasel I've had that sort of feeling too! Glad to hear that others have felt it too. It's so exciting but so nerve wracking at well!

I've booked in with the midwife and got my booking in appointment on 6 December and scan on Christmas Eve! Don't know how I'm going to pass off not drinking at my works Christmas lunch, was hoping my scan would've been before! But I actually love the idea of it on Christmas eve and can announce to everyone else over Christmas 😍

PlinkPlink · 30/10/2019 14:04

@MsMiaWallace oh how exciting! I popped into New Look the other day and they have the most gorgeous dungaree dress I want to get my hands on. A heart shaped womb sounds different! Totally understandable your nervousness given your MCs.

@Magpiefeather I'd recommend getting yourself to GP. Second pregnancies are usually worse for sickness of you had it bad the 1st time. You can get some tablets that won't affect baby and will just make things so much more bearable. I'm currently taking some. Sea bands do go some way if you can find the right acupressure point but eventually I had to give in and ring GP.
Buying a house, Reno and pregnancy? You're not doing things by halves Grin

@BabyBird20 yes!!! OH finds it hilarious that I'm crying at the drop of a hat atm. Can't watch the news. Even adverts are making me cry!!

MsMiaWallace · 30/10/2019 14:47

Is anyone else really anxious & scared?

Magpiefeather · 30/10/2019 14:55

@PlinkPlink I know, starting to doubt our wisdom on the timing of all this Confused but ultimately it’s happened now and we just have to get on with it!!!

To be fair the renovation is not building work, just painting the whole house and replacing flooring.

Thank you for the advice on the tablets. I know it’s daft but I am nervous of taking medication when pregnant which is why I didn’t last time.

1sttimemamasel · 30/10/2019 14:55

@Squisha82 It’s so nice to have a group where we can share all our thoughts and feelings with people going through the same thing 😍 Yes it’s funny how different the procedures are, I’m just impatient and willing these first 12 weeks to go and smoothly and quickly as possible, as I’m sure everyone else is ❤️ I feel tired all the time, had nausea on and off and boobs are so sore, I’ve had to buy a maternity bra already, it’s so comfortable lol xx

Squisha82 · 30/10/2019 14:58

@1sttimemamasel ooohhh good to know about the maternity bra! My nips are so sensitive, this might be a great solution. It almost feels like I'm too early to start buying maternity bits but this might be my first 😊 x

marmitecheesetoast · 30/10/2019 15:55

Oh I love that you’ve got your 12 week scan on Christmas Eve @MrsS147!

@Magpiefeather blooming’ eck that is a lot going on at once!
We are also in the midst of doing quite a lot of work on our house, although glad we are not moving house!! We need to add a 3rd bedroom back in upstairs which is going to involve some wall moving and a new (smaller!) bathroom 😱

I am so desperate to hear back from midwives with my booking appt. I feel like the more notice I can give work the easier / less suspicious it’ll be!

EmBrum · 30/10/2019 16:46

@MsMiaWallace yes completely. Something crops up in the diary and all I can think is how many weeks I'll be then and will I still be pregnant 😭 so anxious.

@marmitecheesetoast it's a good point- I think I too am very eager for the appointment to come in the post, probably because I need to somehow schedule it in at work.

Sadly my Grandpa is slipping away atm so there's inevitably his funeral Nov/Dec too...

MrsS147 · 30/10/2019 17:20

@MsMiaWallace I'm feeling quite nervous! Just worrying that something will go wrong, but hoping everything will go smoothly.

@marmitecheesetoast it so exciting! I love Christmas so much and it's something else for me to be excited for even if I am a bit nervous about it! Hopefully you get your appointment through soon. Its so weird how different areas operate, I just got given mine over the phone!

Sorry to hear about your grandpa @EmBrum 😔

BabyBird20 · 30/10/2019 17:33

@MrsS147 @PlinkPlink Glad it's not just me! My DH is starting to question my sanity! 😂 I cried at a dog video on Facebook earlier!!

Can't wait for my early scan on Friday now, just want to know all is on track!!

BabyBird20 · 30/10/2019 17:36

I meant to ask too, is anyone getting the flu vaccine? I read that pregnant women are recommended to get it?

PlinkPlink · 30/10/2019 17:46

Aw @Magpiefeather it'll happen and you'll get through it because it is what it is. It's only when you look back you'll think 'never again' Grin the only thing that is important is making sure that little one is safe and growing well, and that as a couple you are happy. Ooh the decorating sounds fun.

@BabyBird20 Grin a dog video. The hormones are mad right now Haha. Fingers crossed for your early scan, let us know how it goes!

Squisha82 · 30/10/2019 17:59

No shame crying at dog videos! I was inconsolable at one point watching Bake off last night 😂

MsMiaWallace · 30/10/2019 18:05

Ahhh my shopping just arrived from Tesco & I lifted a heavy box without thinking!! Now I'm worried about that!

Smiffette · 30/10/2019 18:14

@Babybird20 I got it but then I always do as I have asthma

Rufustdog1 · 30/10/2019 18:29

Hi can I join please......
Found out on monday that me and hubby are expecting baby #2. We'd been on and off trying and had decided to wait and then boom we got a lil surprise this month and we couldn't be happier now the shock has passed.
According to our dates we are due 30th june 2020 and have our midwife appointment on 12th nov. Fingers crossed for us all. Xx
