Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@HL123 I've not been physically sick, although very close a couple of times. The nausea is horrid the only thing that relieves it for a short while is eating dry plain food. It stays away for an hour then I need to nibble again!
It used to be just in the mornings up until midday but now it seems to be staying around for the afternoon!! ☹️

Blossomingflower94 · 28/10/2019 14:24

Sorry everyone else is struggling too. + Is that were all producing lots of hormones for a healthy baby.

Today has been the worse so far, only had about an hour where I haven't felt sick. Currently sat at my desk with my head in my hands trying not to vomit. I hope the first trimester goes quick.

mrssunshinexxx · 28/10/2019 14:45

For me so far it does tend to be a 'morning 'thing I feel ok once I get to work just keep eating stuff then really not fancying it again

1sttimemamasel · 28/10/2019 15:12

@MrsPoll Congratulations 😊 I’m with you on the testing most days! I am 4+5 today and getting bad nausea. We’ve booked for a 8 weeks scan on 22.11.19. X

Squisha82 · 28/10/2019 15:41

I'm the same with nausea in the morning - constantly snacking during the day is helping massively at the moment.

Is anyone else having headaches? Every other day at the moment my head starts to pound. I initially thought it was caffeine withdrawal, but it's been 3 weeks now 😕

HL123 · 28/10/2019 16:37

@Smiffette so horrible isn't it. I live by myself so have stayed at my mums the past couple of days because I feel too awful to be alone!
I've just got some sea bands from the chemist, hoping they might take the edge off.

BabyBird20 · 28/10/2019 16:48

@Squisha82 I had horrible headaches for the first week or so that I thought were caffeine withdrawal but still get them every other day or so now! Apparently hormone surges can cause headaches though?

Squisha82 · 28/10/2019 17:00

@BabyBird20 I've read that too but thought they would have gone by now!! I did get bad migraines during AF so thought it might be just me, sorry it's you as well!

FRH89 · 28/10/2019 17:33

Age: 30
TTC Cycle: 1
Baby: #1
Due date: 03/07/1989
Symptoms: mild nausea that is cured by eating(!), tired by about 9.30pm but waking up at around 3am needing to wee(!) and then struggle to get back to sleep.

Just had a GP appointment today and should have first Midwife session in just over two weeks.

As this is our first we have no idea what to expect so reading all the comments so far is really reassuring. Fingers crossed it all goes well from here!

If there is a WhatsApp group would love to join!

X

Blossomingflower94 · 28/10/2019 17:38

@HL123 let us know how you get on with the sea bands x

HL123 · 28/10/2019 19:02

@Blossomingflower94 well I've had them on for a couple of hours and I feel exactly the same.. l'll persevere with them although I did read they're meant to work almost immediately so not feeling too helpful.
I genuinely don't know how I'll manage another 6 weeks+ feeling like this, praying it eases up soon

Lgxo · 28/10/2019 19:24

@FRH89

Congratulations lovely!! Although, you’re due date seems a little funny...

Haha. I keep putting my birth year instead of 2020 too! It doesn’t seem real does it? You’re due a day before me!☺️

Lf89 · 28/10/2019 19:44

Hey, I think I'm due about 2nd July.

Our first pregnancy, I started getting nauseous very quickly (wasn't sure if I was imagining it). Got a faint positive last Thurs, a strong one yesterday.

I was actually sick for the first time yesterday and seem to have every symptom going already, sore boobs, fatigued, off food, bloated, back ache etc. It has surprised me just how dreadful I've felt, but so happy at the same time!

MRSRCH · 28/10/2019 20:10

Well the symptoms still aren't massively kicking in for me yet, just sensitive nipples and still the whirling feeling in my belly
I've never actively ttc before so I am so confused about working out due dates. I've gotten pregnant on cycle 2,which those cycles were 31 days apart but I wouldn't know if that was of the norm for me. So if I work it out by a 31 day cycle I'd be classed 5 weeks today, but If I work it out from my last period I'm 5+3? Midwife has asked me to phone when I'm 6 weeks, I know it's only a few days apart but not sure how they work it out?

EVenner · 28/10/2019 21:06

Oh just reading everyone’s messages about nausea and feel for you all 💗💗💗 At midday today I was on the floor crying (don’t know if the pregnancy is making me weepy, quite possibly!) cause I felt so sick and desperate. But by 3 I felt better, went for a 1.5h walk, drank lots of water, ate plain biscuits and nibbled on a few sour sweets. The tense headache has not gone but I feel OK, nausea is gone right now, even managed to have a falafel wrap (trying to get the veg in when I can). This is my 7 or 8 day having these symptoms and I have worked out that eating whatever I can often in small portions, walking lots outside in fresh air and water helps. But then that’s just what they say on the NHS website isn’t it haha.

Blossomingflower94 · 29/10/2019 05:30

@MRSRCH they go by the first day of your last period. They can always adjust at the 12 week scan.

I managed to sleep till 5am without nausea!!! Had a glass of milk around 9 last night and it seems to have done the trick. Just starting to feel it again now but quickly going to get more food in me and fingers crossed.

BabyBird20 · 29/10/2019 05:42

@Blossomingflower94 morning!! That's good news! I have woken up for a wee 3 times tonight, I never used to wake in the night at all! Milk has been my go to for the last day or so! Hoping the heartburn won't be a daily thing!!

mrssunshinexxx · 29/10/2019 07:03

@MRSRCH I would do the later one then you less likely to be put back at dating scan

MrsS147 · 29/10/2019 08:00

Hi all, can I join in? Got my BFP this morning after being too scared to test before!

Due date: Based on last period it’s 5th July, but I usually ovulate before day 14 so may be a few days before then.
Baby: #1
TTC (trying to conceive) cycle: 7, had just hit the 6 month mark!
Symptoms: Only symptom has been cramps which I initially thought was my period coming, but nothing else other than that.

BabyBird20 · 29/10/2019 10:52

@MrsS147 Congratulations! It's a scary and exciting time isn't it! I tested about 11 times I reckon! Still not quite sure I believe it's actually happening!!

EVenner · 29/10/2019 10:55

We just had an early scan this morning. Saw a little baby with a heartbeat 💗 But the lovely radiologist dated the pregnancy to 7+1 which would make me due on the 14 June 2020 instead of 21 😆

1sttimemamasel · 29/10/2019 11:00

Hi hope everyone is ok. I was wondering when are people telling their employer that you’re pregnant? I don’t have a manual job but it can be very stressful a lot of the time and we’re always short staffed, I don’t know whether to wait until I’m further along or tell them. According to the calculators I’m 5 weeks tomorrow x

Lynds4536 · 29/10/2019 11:09

Hi, hope its okay to join:

Age: 29
TTC Cycle: Lost count
Baby: #1
Due date: 01/07/2020
Symptoms: sooo tired, niggling boobs and feeling sick occasionally.

Had a miscarriage last year and have been trying to fall pregnant ever since. first time i have had a BFP since miscarriage. So scared to get excited yet. Have booked in for an early scan at 8 weeks. Sorry if this is TMI, but does any one else feel really wet and constantly nipping to the toilet to check? x

BabyBird20 · 29/10/2019 11:35

@EVenner aww that is so exciting!! Congrats! I've got my early scan on Friday so fingers firmly crossed for that little bean and a heartbeat!!

BabyBird20 · 29/10/2019 12:03

Just had a call from the midwife booking in service! Suddenly feels very real! Still another 3 weeks to wait for my booking in appointment though!
