Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

@scotscubagirl

Congrats! You’re due a day before me ❤️

So sorry to hear about your past experience.

You just have to remember that this is a different pregnancy, and everything is going to be ok. They say to contact your midwife as soon as you can, plus the sooner you’re in for a scan, the sooner you’ll be able to see your lovely baby growing healthy ❤️

Blossomingflower94 · 27/10/2019 07:08

I seem to have avoided this morning's sickness with a cereal bar 🙌🏽 long may it continue. Is anyone else feeling sick?

Bikbikmum · 27/10/2019 07:57

Morning ladies, lots of new mums under this topic, very exciting!

I am 5+0 today, cramps continue, no bleeding or morning sickness. I don't have any tests left, so I haven't checked anything again. It should be OK isn't it? Or should I check? Noone had confirmed my pregnancy from any blood test. Is this normal?

I am so curious so I have booked a private scan at 7.5-8 weeks. I couldn't wait until week 12 dating scan. Fingers crossed ...

SecondSecret · 27/10/2019 08:37

@Bikbikmum - for my first pregnancy I never had it confirmed with a blood test - when I phoned the docs excited I was pregnant they said they didn’t need to see me (just took my word for it!) and I was booked in for a chat with the midwife - also I think as long as you don’t have any bleeding cramps are totally normal and not everyone gets morning sickness or at the same time so I wouldn’t worry Smile

I had all day nausea for 12 weeks from about week 6 last time but was never actually sick at all - this time it hasn’t started yet (I’m 4+something lol!) so am waiting for it to arrive!

We had an 8 week scan last time and it was great as we heard the heartbeat and saw this little blob (didn’t look like much at that time!) but was definitely worth it - haven’t decided if we are going to do the same this time yet!

Hope all are doing well! X

Bikbikmum · 27/10/2019 08:48

@SecondSecret thank you ! 🙏🏻 😇

Lgxo · 27/10/2019 08:52

@Bikbikmum

So glad you’ve said cramps are continuing. In 4+3 and keep having them randomly. Convinced myself I’m made up this pregnancy because that’s all I’m having. No sickness, no sore boobs, not overly tired. The midwife didn’t confirm the pregnancy for me either, not even a urine sample. She just took my word for it & said they’ll be in touch for blood tests etc in a couple of weeks.

What date is your scan? I’ve booked one for 13th November, I’ll be 6+6 then, hopefully be able to detect a heartbeat!

BabyBird20 · 27/10/2019 09:28

@Bikbikmum I've booked an early scan for 7+2 on Friday this week so hopefully will get to hear a little heart beat! Still not heard anything back from midwives and docs weren't interested at all so feels very surreal at the moment!

BabyBird20 · 27/10/2019 09:29

@scotscubagirl I'd be tempted to get going on the booking in with the midwife, as can take a while it seems! Keeping everything crossed for you and all of us that we have sticky beans!!

RachMC2020 · 27/10/2019 09:37

Hi everyone

Hope you don't mind me joining!
I just found out on Wednesday that I am pregnant for my 1st time. I am due on the 1st July 20 if my calculations are right.

I am 28 years old and due to a health issue was really worried that I wouldn't be able to conceive.

I an over the moon but am conscious it is early days. So lovely to hear everyone's experiences.
So far I just have some bad cramps which had worried me. I am craving crisps so much and the sight of chocolate is making me feel sick! Have to admit I have also been a bit cranky lol!
All very exciting!!!

Rach

Bikbikmum · 27/10/2019 10:05

@Lgxo you are certainly not alone! Last week my cramps were on the right and on the left. This week it is lower abdomen.

I self refer myself as soon as I had positive test. They sent letters a week after. My first appointment with midwife will be on 9th week and dating scan will be on 12th week.

I have booked private early pregnancy scan for 7th week.

My boobs are ok, increased sense of small since I had conceived, cramps that's eat. And I eat jars of vegan pesto sauce :)

I love this group now, it is so self assuring and I dont feel alone.

Bikbikmum · 27/10/2019 10:07

@Lgxo soory just seen you have asked the date . Private scan is on 19th Nov, 1st appointment is on 26th Nov and dating scan is on 20th December

Bikbikmum · 27/10/2019 10:22

@BabyBird20 fingers crossed. Hopefully, everything will go well :) keep us updated!

Groundhog86 · 27/10/2019 15:19

Hi guys can I join?

I found out I was pregnant last Tuesday by blood test after Ivf treatment with FET on our second try.
We have been trying for 3 years, and I was so sure the ivf had failed again but miracles do happen Smile.

I'm 32 and I have worked out I'm 5+1 so due 27 june 2020.

I've got a scan booked in for the 7 Nov at the ivf unit then they do an another scan 2 weeks later if all is well. Hopefully they will tell me what to do after that.

Is anyone else feeling so cold all time?

EVenner · 27/10/2019 15:51

Ohhh, hope it’s ok to join in the conversation.
I’m 33
Due 21 June 2020
TTC, first time lucky!
Baby no 1

The I’ve had some intense nausea the last week, wow wow, at points really demoralising haha, I’m just so so tired and feel sick nearly 24/7, headache, tense, lightheaded. Have to convince myself to eat in spite of feeling sea sick on land! Just hoping that it will go away at some point! Such a strange feeling to be nearly crippled when I’m used to be 💪🏼💪🏼 working and studying 💯 but hey ho. Already learning so much and hoping to find some emotional support here to carry on feeling strong, positive and powerful 🤪 I’ve found that I feel best when I’m out walking. Discovered yesterday I can eat without feeling too bad while walking around outside in the fresh air. So that’s me for now!

EVenner · 27/10/2019 15:52

Congratulations!! What a miracle!

NotMaryWhitehouse · 27/10/2019 15:56

Congratulations @Groundhog86 !

Yes- am freezing all the time! It's my hands and feet - have taken to wearing my hooded fluffy dressing gown over a full set of clothes 🤪

BabyBird20 · 27/10/2019 16:34

@EVenner I'm due the day before you! Congrats! Im been feeling queasy all day today and nothing seems to be helping! Just want to curl in a ball and sleep!! @Groundhog86 huge congrats to you too, fingers firmly crossed! I'm normally such a hot blooded person by my hands and feet have been freezing the last couple of weeks!

Blizy · 27/10/2019 17:27

Hi, can I join please?
I'm 37
I think I'm around 5+3.
This is my fourth pregnancy, my 1st ended with my dd being stillborn. Second I had an early miscarriage and 3rd time resulted in my 4year old ds. We've been ttc pretty much since he was born! I was told I would need IVF to conceive due to my extensive endometriosis, so this was a huge surprise!
I have my booking in appointment with MW on Wed and an early scan on the 7th Nov.

Squisha82 · 27/10/2019 17:41

Congratulations to all the recent posters!

I'm exhausted today. At 6+1 I think I'm starting to feel pregnant now. Nausea and tiredness are the themes of the day

WhiteRose05 · 27/10/2019 18:12

It’s so exciting to hear everyone’s experiences so far, and super reassuring to hear similar experiences of cramping and feeling cold!

@Squisha82 I live between Manchester & Leeds but work in Manchester City centre so quite close by ☺️

One question- Is anyone else planning to travel during their first trimester? Or has done so before and has any tips for managing tiredness (usually mid afternoon) & sickness (not had this yet, but expecting it will come!). I’m going to America for two weeks early November... Thanks

BabyBird20 · 27/10/2019 18:12

@Squisha82 ditto! Have you found anything that helps the nausea yet? I've tried ginger biscuits, plain pasta, crackers, cereal throughout the day but didn't help!! Now ready for bed! 😂

EVenner · 27/10/2019 18:17

@BabyBird20 ah bless you! Congratulations you too! Yeah, nothing REALLY helps does it!? Just got to be patient and keep mind on the present I suppose 🙄 How are you managing at work? I’m finding it must be soooo obvious with the faces I’m pulling etc haha... but too early to tell 🤫

@Blossomingflower94 that’s so good you’ve found something that works 😅 Might give it a go!!

EVenner · 27/10/2019 18:24

@WhiteRose05 congratulations!! Yeah, I’m doing some traveling... went to Spain about 2 weeks ago before I knew so did nothing different and was fine, too early! and planning to go the the Azores in January, hoping my nausea will have subsided by then, but who knows!? I usually get travel sick so that could be a fun one! What are you thinking of doing? Probably the usual is good, hydration, rest... get up for walk? Don’t know!?

Blizy · 27/10/2019 18:24

I've been feeling rather nauseous and the tiredness has hit. I am telling my manger tomorrow as I have quite a few appointment coming up and I also have a physical job.

EVenner · 27/10/2019 18:27

@Blizy yeah, that makes sense! Good to hear how you’re approaching it 💗
