Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

Thanks @Lgxo , that's kind of you

Squisha82 · 26/10/2019 19:28

@BabyBird20 we are due date buddies as I'm also the 20th! I've got a year on you as-well at 37, and this will be my first 🤞🏼🤞🏼Have you booked in an early scan?

Squisha82 · 26/10/2019 19:30

@WhiteRose05 hi! Congrats to you too. I'm Stockport way so closeish. Have you been asked to choose your hospital already?? I had a call with the midwife and she asked me which hospital I was thinking about.... err I've not been thinking about any🙈

Bisquick · 26/10/2019 19:42

Thanks @lgxo
Fingers crossed for us @NotMaryWhitehouse - hopefully it’s just a one-off.
I’m trying to relax now that DH is doing our toddler’s bedtime.

1sttimemamasel · 26/10/2019 19:59

@lgxo Yeah I’m the same with cramps now and again. Can’t wait 😊 Yes we want to book in for private early scan at 8 weeks, will be so exciting. Have you made your midwife appointment? Do you think you’ll have a early scan? X

Von84 · 26/10/2019 20:05

@HL123Smile Hi! Nice to meet you! X

Lgxo · 26/10/2019 20:13

@1sttimemamasel

Yes, I’ve booked in for 13th November! I’ll be 6+6 then so should hopefully be able to see the heartbeat. My partner works away during the week but comes home Wednesday nights so booked the scan for then as I didn’t want to wait all the way until the weekend! Haha.

I’ve already seen my midwife! I found out last Sunday, called on Monday and they booked me in with her on the Tuesday. She just asked a few questions and said they’ll be in touch via letter about a further appointment. Just paranoid at every little thing now. Can’t wait to see a heartbeat.

You put above that you’re 4+3 but 13dpo, do you mean 17dpo? It’s all so confusing adding 2 weeks to it!

The midwife has put me at 6+4 (today), but I have long/irregular cycles and I got a positive OPK on cd30! I’m kind of glad they’ve got me 2 weeks ahead though because hopefully that means I’ll get appointments/dating scan sooner!

How are your lines on your tests progressing? X

Blossomingflower94 · 26/10/2019 20:17

It's 20:15 and I'm getting into bed. Been up since 2am with nausea/vomiting so completely pooped. I know the morning sickness is going to get worse as I'm only 4+2 today so I'm semi dreading tomorrow morning!

Hope everyone else is well. X

1sttimemamasel · 26/10/2019 20:21

Yay that’s so exciting. I’ve just booked one for 22/11/19 will be around 8 weeks then.
Oh wow that was quick you speaking to midwife, it’s weird seems to be different with all doctors the process. I live in the West Midlands. I stress when I get cramps so and pray that when I go to the toilet there’s no blood, it’s such a nerve wracking time! Yes the lines on tests are getting darker so that’s positive.
On the pregnancy+ app and nhs due date calculator when I put in my last first date of period (which was 25.09.2019) it’s says 4 weeks 3 days, I’ve no idea how the doctors work it out, do they put 2 weeks on then? It’s really confusing isn’t it xx

Lgxo · 26/10/2019 20:37

@Blossomingflower94

Oh bless you! Get plenty of rest. It’s crazy how everyone is different. Fingers crossed it doesn’t get any worse for you!

@1sttimemamasel

I know! Every area has a different process. I just saw on the NHS website it said to contact your doctors ASAP, so I did. They were really nice.

And that’s what they’ll date you as then. They just got from the first day of your last period. But it’s confusing in a way that I’m 4+2, but really only conceived just over 2 weeks ago. They’ll be able to tell you what you’re measuring at your dating scan though, and I think they do at the private one too! Xx

EmBrum · 26/10/2019 20:56

@1sttimemamasel - I'm in the West Mids too - hello :)
I'm due 2nd July which I think is v similar to you.
Waiting for my "booking appointment" to come through the post. Tempted with an early scan too but will see how it goes...

Just told my parents this evening which was Amazing- very early but I would want them there if anything happened x

BabyBird20 · 26/10/2019 20:59

@Squisha82
That's awesome! How're you feeling with it all? I'm just exhausted all the time! I booked in a private early scan next week when I'm 7 weeks as still haven't even heard back from a midwife yet! Getting impatient for it all to be real and ok! 🤞🤞

1sttimemamasel · 26/10/2019 21:11

@lgxo It’s really confusing lol we would have conceived just under 2 weeks ago. Yes it says that at the private scan they will date, but hopefully will get to see midwife before xx

@embrum Hiya, congratulations hun, you’re due a day after me. How r u feeling?
I’m also waiting for booking appointment. Is this your first pregnancy? I’m in Wolverhampton.
Aww I bet it felt amazing telling your parents, we are telling ours next weekend when we see them all, my mum lives in Spain so have to do it over Skype cus she’s not back until December and can’t wait that long lol xx

D4ni · 26/10/2019 21:17

Hey!
I hope it’s okay to join (another mumsnet newbie).

Facts:
I’m 30
This will be baby #1
I’m due on June 27th

We’ve been ttc since May 2017.
I had a laparoscopy in August, and was due to go in for an ivf planning appointment on November 5th.
Symptoms so far are really painful boobs, and metallic taste in the morning. Not much nausea yet, but I’m sure it will arrive soon!
I’m just waiting for a midwife to call back with a booking appointment :)

Squisha82 · 26/10/2019 21:17

@BabyBird20 I feel really anxious about it all at the mo, just want to get past the first 12 weeks and I'll relax.... maybe!!
I'm with you on the private scan, I have mine booked for 9 weeks though and now wish it was earlier. I'm sooo tired as well, with really sore boobs. Hoping morning sickness passes me by, but am pretty sure I'm in a dream world with that!

Lgxo · 26/10/2019 21:23

@EmBrum due date buddies 🥰

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

EmBrum · 26/10/2019 21:31

@D4ni welcome! That's amazing timing before your IVF and well done persevering too. Hats off to all those who have waited so so long for this x

@1sttimemamasel - ah enjoy sharing your news next week! Yes this is my first one - feeling ok so far. Been a bit cold this week which I think others posted about a few pages back. Slight twinges occasionally and still a teeny amount of implantation bleeding. No nausea yet but my mum had it so I'm expecting it! I'm in South Brum btw so not too far. There is a good scanning place in Quinton I saw on Google - peek-a-baby. Tempted to have an early scan about 8 weeks if I can persuade DH! X

EmBrum · 26/10/2019 21:32

@lgxo thank you so much that's so kind 😘 and same to you too x

BabyBird20 · 26/10/2019 22:18

@D4ni that's similar to my story! I was due to start treatment on my next cycle and then discovered I was pregnant! Such an amazing surprise!

BabyBird20 · 26/10/2019 22:20

@Squisha82
I'm there with you with the sore boobs! And they've definitely grown already! I know the feeling with the morning sickness, dreading it but also know it's a good sign of healthy hormones etc! Feeling queasy occasionally at the mo but not a lot more!

D4ni · 26/10/2019 22:33

@EmBrum thank you so much! Was definitely worth the wait 💗

@BabyBird20 it just feels so surreal. You build yourself up to the ivf and then it’s such a surprise. I’ve just had a look back to your post and can see you’re having an early scan. I’m the opposite! I’m too scared to go in early, so I’m going to wait until the 12 week one.
When did you contact for a booking appointment?
I contacted the midwife last week and left my name, she said someone would get back to me but I stupidly didn’t ask when. Now just nervously waiting!

BabyBird20 · 26/10/2019 22:46

@D4ni it certainly is surreal! I was absolutely convinced this wouldn't happen naturally and then I must have conceived just before my last fertility treatment consultation! So lucky!!
I should probably just wait until my 12 wk but I just want to know if it's viable so far, I'm getting myself so anxious about feeing all this and then it still not happening for us! I'm not sure they'll be able to see much at 7weeks anyway, but the wait til 12 weeks would prob kill me at this rate!! 😂

BabyBird20 · 26/10/2019 22:48

@D4ni I rang the booking line last Monday, it was a horrible automated service where I just had to leave my name, dob and number and they will get back to me within 5 -14 days apparently! So impersonal and not even sure they got my message etc! Very nerve wracking!!

rybenka · 26/10/2019 23:45

Hi ladies,
Is there anyone here who was pregnant despite a negative blood test at 3 weeks missed period? Experienced tailbone pain that early on? Thanks for sharing your experience.

scotscubagirl · 27/10/2019 00:58

Hi everyone!

I literally just found out I am pregnant.

Age 36
Due 01/07/19
If everything is ok this will be baby #1
Been trying for 5yrs

I had an ectopic pregnancy in April 2018. I had bleeding back then and ‘knew’ something wasn’t right. Not for either this time. Will be phoning the Early Pregnancy Unit on Monday as they will monitor me for a few weeks.

Last time I booked the midwife but then had to go through the trauma of cancelling the appointment. Might hold off until I know things are ok. Or am I beat to book in ASAP so I get the scan at the right time. What do you think?
