@blondie87 I was in shock! I took a tumble down a cliff/hill face that had the sea crashing directly below it. Terrifying!

blondie87 · 28/09/2019 19:18

Crikey @ttc19!!

DerbyshireGirly · 28/09/2019 21:05

@Jesskir89 I was there too but only got a changing mat, you did well getting all that for next to nothing!

Jesskir89 · 28/09/2019 21:36

@blondie87 as long as you're OK :) and I really enjoyed it thanks. @DerbyshireGirly I paid for the mum and baby pack 5 pound but got 20 worth in it. Then got a free pack, free bottle from mam and found a cheap stall next to lidl and lidl had bags for a pound with loads in it. Dh was bored but I was in my eliment looking for bargains and free stuff lol

Dinosauraddict · 28/09/2019 23:31

Looks like you got some bargains @Jesskir89. I've got tickets for the London one next month Smile Think that'll be an expensive day as hoping to get the last few big bits!

Yvonne1988 · 29/09/2019 00:03

I just came back from watching still game at the hydro (if there's any Scottish women in here) and I swear I felt it move a few times. Gonna pretend it loves it already. Will be in its genes.

Jesskir89 · 29/09/2019 10:36

@dinosauraddict it was brilliant I loved it. We went to the Trafford Centre after for some shopping then food it was just a lovely day. That's fell erfectly for you next month my dh won't let me look at prams etc yet he wants to wait until 20 weeks and you'll be well past that then :)

Yvonne1988 · 29/09/2019 11:28

We don't have any baby shows near here. I wanted to look at things after the scan but he doesn't want to buy anythhing til we get Christmas out the way 😱 I will have to sneak in a few little things before then

DaniX91 · 29/09/2019 17:01

Had our private scan and after an hour of jumping up and down and walking around, we found out we're having a girl 💗 couldn't be happier x

Jesskir89 · 29/09/2019 17:21

DaniX91 · 29/09/2019 18:36

Thankyou @Dinosauraddict apparently I have an anterior placenta, anyone else got or had this before?

blondie87 · 29/09/2019 19:09

Congratulations @DaniX91. I had one with my second pregnancy and it didn’t cause any issues other than not feeling movement as keenly.

kelsnyp · 29/09/2019 21:13

Any body felt round ligament pains think I've been having them I'm 15+1 this pregnancy lark is a worrying business 😮

barnyb · 29/09/2019 21:28

@maria94 hey ! Just saw your message about aches. I'm 18 weeks tomorrow are you too?
Iv had a few aches and pains when iv been rushing around a lot. And then I sometimes get sharp pains too. Have you had any movements yet? X

threegreensheep · 29/09/2019 21:57

Ladies, thought this might come up, a couple have mentioned about home dopplers. Please don't get one, they are really NOT recommended for home use, and have been linked to mums not going into hospital at the right time etc. I know it's tempting but please don't risk it!
I always listen at 16 weeks but midwives don't have to listen at any point and quite a few don't at 16 weeks, they wait until 20 week scan has been and all normal. Most will do it if you specifically ask. I can pretty reliably find it from 12 weeks on but depends on tummy size etc etc. Sorry rant over!

Jesskir89 · 29/09/2019 22:21

@kelsnyp I've been having ligament pain since about 12 week I'm now 15 plus 2 and not had them for a week.

ineedanotherholiday · 29/09/2019 22:24

@kelsnyp yes I've been having them, some sharp stabbing pains at sides and bottom of belly. Sometimes really sharp, one the other day nearly doubled me over.

I also think I may have felt baby, really not sure as only 14+3 but had quite a few flutters/ feeling of light tickling form the inside. They were fairly low which would make sense but now I'm feeling them a bit higher around same height as belly button so not sure!

MunchyMunchkin · 29/09/2019 22:38

Well said @threegreensheep

MissPepper8 · 29/09/2019 23:48

@threegreensheep 👍🏻

I wouldn't buy one, I think it would make me panic unnecessarily if I couldn't find the heartbeat.

Exactly what I had originally, I don't know if they've changed it since but with DS I got it at 16 weeks and told they didn't do it at every appointment but if I wanted it I could ask (my midwife just did it without me asking).

Cassie124 · 30/09/2019 11:44

Just found this thread, didn't realise it was already on #4. I'm due with DC1 on 26th March .

MiaMoo007 · 30/09/2019 11:48

Hi all. I'm 14 weeks + 4. Due 26th March. First pregnancy so it's all very new to me. Been really lucky not to have any symptoms apart from sore boobs. So excited but also a bit nervous for this journey.

MockingJay27 · 30/09/2019 11:49

@DaniX91 I also have been told i have anterior placenta, midwife said its nothing to worry about, the only time placenta position matters is if it is low lying.

ineedanotherholiday · 30/09/2019 13:12

Welcome @MiaMoo007 and @Cassie124 were due date twins :)
