New thread ladies :)

Has to be the most active thread on MN!

Feel free to state how far you are/EDD in your first post here so we have a reminder of who is where :)

Happy 2nd trimester to everyone now I think!

I’m 13+6 and due March 26th ❤️

Thanks so much @MockingJay27 - I feel so relieved! X

maria94 · 27/09/2019 13:25

Anyone else getting cramps now and again? I'm 17 weeks!

whiskersonkittenss · 27/09/2019 13:42

@maria94 yes, had some dull aches the other day but nothing happened after that. I think it's the baby growing

Yvonne1988 · 27/09/2019 14:11

@maria94 yeh. I'm 15 weeks now I seem to get them when I stop doing things, but iv popped this week so it will just be growing. Had them the last few days.

Think I'm gonna use my pregnancy to get me out of a meal tonight 😂 I don't want to go so if anyone asks I'm sore and tired after work. In my head iv already left my work and it's just waiting for the date. The manager doesn't like me so I can't be bothered putting myself through it.

ineedanotherholiday · 27/09/2019 14:35

I'm thinking now maybe it was food, it seems not quite as big today!

@whiskersonkittenss I had bad wind around 12 weeks, had a really bad stomach which I was a bit worried about but think it was wind. Nothing since.

DaniX91 · 27/09/2019 16:41

@avocadoincident Friday 13th ey 😂

I've had pains in my stomach and back for the last couple of hours, I work in reception class so I'm hoping it isn't the start of a bug but hoping it isn't baby related at the same time!

kelsnyp · 27/09/2019 17:37

@Derbyshiregirl my due date March 21st too been feeling like fluttering very low down just above pubic line can only feel it when very still x

avocadoincident · 27/09/2019 17:49

@DaniX91 I'm a Reception teacher so I know how this germs spread! I hope you aren't getting ill, but just focus on how great your immune system will be!

Bex240 · 27/09/2019 18:03

Happy Friday everyone! I'm just catching up on thread #4!

I'm 15+5 today - due on the 17th March.

I think I may have felt the 'popping' feeling this morning that some people have talked about being baby movement. I've been randomly sitting very still on and off the rest of the day to see if I can feel it again, but nothing!

DaniX91 · 27/09/2019 18:08

@avocadoincident so we both work in reception and both due on the same day! Ha. I'm a TA but have the class with a student TA on a Friday and today has got me wiped out!
The pains have eased now so not sure what it was x

maria94 · 27/09/2019 21:00

@Yvonne1988 @whiskersonkittenss thanks guys! Must just be where everything is growing ☺️

Anyone got any tips for flying while pregnant? Got a 4 hour flight soon... dreading it!

Yvonne1988 · 27/09/2019 21:44

Tiny bit of bleeding again. Twice now and it's only happened after being in work. Think it's worth mentioning to midwife or not?

whiskersonkittenss · 27/09/2019 21:47

yes do mention it to her. and if it gets worse go to your maternity unit for a check asap @Yvonne1988

tonesandi · 27/09/2019 21:57

Hi all!

I'm currently 15+2, EDD 18th March. This will be baby no. 2. Finding out gender Oct 8th!

Still feeling completely exhausted, anyone else feel the same?

Yvonne1988 · 27/09/2019 22:25

@whiskersonkittenss oh its nothing serious it's literally like a streak when I wipe. Tiny. Was worse in the early weeks. I just find it weird how it only happens on days iv been in work. Trying not to do too much

MissPepper8 · 28/09/2019 01:19

@Yvonne1988 Do you know if you are rhesus negative? Or need the anti D? Any bleeding needs to be checked out by midwife but you have to tell them straight away if you need anti d xxx

Jesskir89 · 28/09/2019 08:06

Morning ladies. Is anyone going to the Manchester baby show today? Or has anyone been to one before?

Yvonne1988 · 28/09/2019 09:22

@misspepper8 no I don't need that. I'll phone up Monday before I go in again. It was only once when I wiped and nothing since.

MissPepper8 · 28/09/2019 10:55

Yvonne1988 That's really good it hasn't happened since xx I'm rhesus negative my mw made me absolutely paranoid about bleeding after 12 weeks, touch wood both pregnancies I've never had anything.

Yvonne1988 · 28/09/2019 12:37

Think I'm just looking for them to tell me I can tell work I can't do a full day 😂 it's only 4.5 hours but there's lots of work and I'm ruined by the end of it.

blondie87 · 28/09/2019 16:37

Ahhh ladies I had a spectacular fall today. I went down with some impact after tripping over the bottom of a gate. Apart from being quite embarrassing (!) I’ve hurt my knee and hand and jolted my lower back. Avoided landing on the bump just but do you think it will have done anything to the baby? Not had any stomach cramps or anything I’m just achey.

Jesskir89 · 28/09/2019 18:22

@blondie87 hope you're OK. I don't think you would but can't hurt to get checked out they will probably scan you

ttc19 · 28/09/2019 19:03

Hi @blondie87, I did the same thing when I was about 11/12 weeks (not sure how far along you are). I went to A&E but they weren't really interested unless I fell and hit my stomach, even then they said the chance of affecting baby was so small. Hope you're ok x

Jesskir89 · 28/09/2019 19:10

I went to the baby show today ladies and if there's one coming up near you I highly recommend it. Got some much free and some really good deals. I got all this for 29 quid!

blondie87 · 28/09/2019 19:14

It’s mainly my dignity and knee which is bruised! Might give the midwife a ring. Thank you for the advice.

How was the baby show @Jesskir89?
