Lovely scan pics ladies can't wait for mine Friday. Been doing the nursery all weekend it won't be finished but decorated and new furniture so half way there :)

MissPepper8 · 04/11/2019 21:20

Have my second scan tomorrow, going on my own so feel a bit like, down? Just nervous it won't go well again and sonographer was really rough with my stomach (had little brusies day after).

Fx I don't get the same scanner and baby behaves!

Jesskir89 · 05/11/2019 06:56

@misspepper8 good luck for today x

MissPepper8 · 05/11/2019 14:04

@Jesskir89 Thanks lovely, hope you're comes soon xxx

All ok 😊, lady was really lovely, so much gentler and gave me some new scan pics too which were really clear. I am over the moon. I'll try upload one later, I'm stuck in hospital for another appointment and I feel like chucking up :/

Jesskir89 · 05/11/2019 16:37

@misspepper8 glad all went well 😁 are you still having morning sickness? @ELW85 good luck for tomorrow x

ELW85 · 05/11/2019 16:50

@Jesskir89 - thank you so much, and well remembered!
What time is yours? On Friday? :)

Jesskir89 · 05/11/2019 19:01

@ELW85 well remembered to you too :) yes 9am Friday. How's everyone doing? It's been quiet on here lately x

ELW85 · 05/11/2019 20:18

@Jesskir89 - I think we’ve got the same due date too 😊 I’m good, starting to feel more and more movement which is reassuring!
How are you doing? Totally agree it’s been quiet lately.

Jesskir89 · 05/11/2019 20:37

@ELW85 mine was moved back to 21st March? I've still not felt much tbh but I've got an anterior placentor. Glad all is well over half way now hopefully this but flys now once Xmas is done with x

ELW85 · 05/11/2019 21:27

@Jesskir89 - mine is 21/03 too! A day before DH’s birthday so we’ll see if he arrives on time 😂
It’ll definitely fly over after Christmas!
When we had an earlier scan, they mentioned an anterior placenta to me so I’ll be interested to see if they bring it up tomorrow.
How are you feeling in yourself! X

MissPepper8 · 05/11/2019 21:34

@Jesskir89 It's better thanks, I have reflux and often can't manage evening/big meals and certain foods. Nausea had been OK (touch wood) however last 3 days I've been awful.

I had hyperemesis and vomited until DS came out, 8 bags of fluid during labour as I had high ketones, so I expect no less lol. Consultant when I was hospitalised this time said if I had it with DS, ill have it with this pregnancy 😭

Jesskir89 · 05/11/2019 22:25

@misspepper8 sorry to hear what a nightmare you had! Hopefully it's not as bad this time. @ELW85 that'd be a nice birthday present! Let me know how tomorrow goes :) and I'm OK thanks apart from a cold x

MockingJay27 · 06/11/2019 10:38

Sorry I forgot to post a picture last week. Here is our little girl

Jesskir89 · 06/11/2019 16:42

@mockingjay27 lovely scan pic! @ELW85 how did you get on? I'm home from work early today full of a flu again so fed up... Never been so ill

ELW85 · 06/11/2019 17:45

@Jesskir89 sorry to hear you’re poorly. Blankets, hot drinks and Netflix for you!
We’ve not long been in (lots of delays) and happy to say that he’s healthy and we’re low risk 😊

Jesskir89 · 06/11/2019 18:21

@ELW85 brilliant news :) was you consultant led before? I'm hoping I will go to low risk after mine as I would love to be on the birth centre. I'm in bed watching Netflix as I type :) no tea just some chocolate lol

ELW85 · 06/11/2019 18:46

@Jesskir89 - thank you!! Midwife led but they wanted me to see a consultant based on historical punch biopsies just to make sure my cervix hadn’t weakened.

To be fair, your night sounds ideal, minus the flu part! I hope you’re feeling better soon.

Will you find out on Friday if you’ll stay consultant led, do you think?

MissPepper8 · 06/11/2019 19:41

Our scan pic, I did think boy until my mum pointed out on the long body shot we have the bum end, so now I'm super confused 😂 She and DF all think girl.

Jesskir89 · 06/11/2019 20:20

@misspepper8 are you going to find out? @ELW85 thank you and hopefully I'm high risk due to prior miscarriage at 16 weeks but now I'm past that hopefully I don't need to be

MissPepper8 · 06/11/2019 20:43

@Jesskir89 No, total surprise baby, but I've been convinced it was a boy since 12 weeks. Hope you're not high risk, I am cause I had to have emergency section after my waters went way too early and hospital screwing up. Id love a water birth this time x

ELW85 · 06/11/2019 20:48

So sorry to hear that @Jesskir89. I’m sure they’ll think you’re low risk and the scan will go perfectly x

Jesskir89 · 06/11/2019 21:33

Thanks ladies. @misspepper8 a surprise would be lovely we were going to do that but didn't have the will power lol. My friend gave birth at around 28 weeks on her first and is due a few days after me so I can imagine how nervous you must feel but I'm sure with them keeping a closer eye on you all will go well :) x

atomcats · 06/11/2019 22:02

Hi all! Had my 20 week scan and all measuring perfectly which is such a relief! Baby behaved for all of the important bits, but refused to play ball for our photos which is a shame but was lovely to watch them for all that time while doing the checks. Only issue that came up is that I have a low lying placenta so have to go back for a scan at 34 weeks to see if it’s moved 🤞

Glad everyone else has had positive scans and hope for those waiting that the time passes quickly!

Jesskir89 · 07/11/2019 14:45

@atomcats congrats on your scan :) did you find out the gender?

atomcats · 07/11/2019 17:43

@Jesskir89 no, we decided we wanted the surprise! Although it took us the whole eight weeks from the last scan to come to a decision!!
