Ladies worrying if they've not felt movements, if it's first baby it can often be later and you can mistake it if you're busy on feet working ect, please try not to worry xxx With DS he barely moved until 30 weeks and then I knew he was there with feet under my ribs (I can't stop the little butt moving today, I'm knackered running after a 2 year old 😂).

If you are really worried text or call midwife xxx

I had a bloody awful day, noticed I can't brisk walk as fast as I could with pram, I felt winded and I'm normally quite fit (was running before ect) but I couldn't stop coughing.

barnyb · 17/10/2019 22:20

Hey guys ! Scan today. Went well mostly but had to go off for a walk and get baby to move to get a specific photo of the heart but she ended up face down so have to go back next week ! Ahhh lol. Also placenta is very low down and in the way of the baby's way out so I have to have a scan at 32 weeks to check that it's moved. hopefully all will be fine by then! :) here is a pic of her foot xx 😊

@MissPepper8 I'm finding this too, out walking the dogs with friends and I'm puffing away sounding like I'm about to pass out 😂awful!!

sep30 · 17/10/2019 22:23

@barnyb cute pic!!! Mine was being difficult too and had to go for a wee and a dance in the loo apparently to move it! We're only about 20 mins from Eastbourne too, super close🤗

barnyb · 17/10/2019 22:31

@sep30 ah where are u guys ? Iv just recently moved from hove back to home town to be closer to family xx

MissPepper8 · 17/10/2019 23:34

@sep30 I do walk really fast (on our way to nursery) and I hadn't eaten maybe i need to cool it down lol. I was so embarrassed it's not like me.

@barnyb Ahh look, so cute. Fx you get a good pic next week. I remember with DS I had to go for 2 walks and more water. I felt like I was gonna pee myself. 😂

sep30 · 18/10/2019 06:52

@barnyb Heathfield/Uckfield way Smile

barnyb · 18/10/2019 08:56

@sep30 oh so close to me then! :) I used to work in Uckfield town centre 🤩

Dinosauraddict · 18/10/2019 08:59

@barnyb that is an incredibly cute picture of her foot! Grin

blondie87 · 18/10/2019 09:47

Ahh @barnyb that’s cute!

MockingJay27 · 18/10/2019 09:57

@barnyb really cute picture glad all was well. At least you get to see her again soon.

A question for everyone who has had 20 week scan, should you still drink 2 pints of water like at the 1st scan?

sadtoday21 · 18/10/2019 09:58

@DerbyshireGirly thanks! I've told the midwife about my concerns, but she just listened to the hb and found it right away. She didn't seem to think it was unusual not to have movement yet, just one more thing for me to worry about!

@SweetChillis wow, we are really close in dates! I'm 19+1 today. Thanks for telling me your story, it really helped as sounds similar to me. I think I may have felt some wriggling last night after dinner - it was kind of like muscles moving inside, not really like gas as people have said. I'm still not sure whether I imagined it because I'm so desperate to feel something! My scan is next week on Monday so really counting down the days now, I'm so nervous!

@barnyb beautiful photo! I'm so happy all was well at your scan.

@MockingJay27 hope you are doing ok now and I hear you about the countdown to the scan! Its so nerve wracking to wait for it, isn't it?

barnyb · 18/10/2019 10:05

Thank you all for lovely messages regarding my daughters beautiful foot 🙃 I had a crazy crazy dream last night that I was in labour and they did a scan and the baby was another race ! And also she had a HUGE big fat and flat nose !!!!!!! Lol lol

Jesskir89 · 18/10/2019 10:09

@whiskersonkittenss thank you that's reassuring. @barnyb at least you get to see her again but what a cute pic :) @misspepper8 I'm the same. I even have to do my housework over 2 days now as hoovering is killing me off I do upstairs one day then downstairs the next! I've got my gender scan tomorrow at 18 weeks :) can't wait

MockingJay27 · 18/10/2019 10:19

@Jesskir89 so exciting !!! Let us know how it goes, are you finding out the sex?

barnyb · 18/10/2019 10:34

@Jesskir89 how exciting tomorrow is the day 🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃

Yvonne1988 · 18/10/2019 10:52

18 weeks today! 2 weeks til my scan. Next week is 2nd week of the school holidays so it should go fast. It's the week after that Weill drag!
Got my partner to feel a kick last night 💖

MunchyMunchkin · 18/10/2019 11:02

@MockingJay27 yes you need a full bladder. My letter said 1.5 pints an hour before.

Jesskir89 · 18/10/2019 14:31

@mockingjay27 yes we weren't going to but the unisex things are so few and far between we changed our mind lol @barnyb I can't wait I've got 3 weeks till my 20 week scan and could wait lol

MockingJay27 · 18/10/2019 14:38

@MunchyMunchkin thankyou !!
@Jesskir89 I agree I’ve not been impressed with much of the limited unisex options, I’ve only bought 2 things until i know the sex. Then i may go a bit wild :)

barnyb · 18/10/2019 15:53

@MockingJay27 yes good to have full bladder. If you appointment is early in the morning then make sure you wake up early and have this at least 45 mins before the appointment time xxx

blondie87 · 18/10/2019 16:00

My letter didn’t mention a full bladder so I didn’t have one 🙈 thankfully they could see everything. I loved finding out we we’re having a boy so I could start buying a few bits and planning the nursery.

MissPepper8 · 18/10/2019 16:58

Yeah they tell you to have a full bladder, wait half an hour near pee yourself, then tell you it's too bloody full and you have to go wee 😂

I'm really nervous about our scan, I'm so afraid something will be wrong it's driving me nuts.

Jesskir89 · 18/10/2019 19:48

@mockingjay27 how far gone are you now? @misspepper8 I feel like that about tomorrow I thought it would be easier by now

MockingJay27 · 18/10/2019 19:51

@Jesskir89 I'm 18+1. My scan is on November 1st x
