@Yvonne1988 I'm just coming to the end of the time with my current clothes haha good going for not weighing yourself that's probably a good idea haha

@barnyb my boobs are bloody massive and sooooo itchy I was at work the other day and literally wanted to rip my nipples off hahaha

@Jesskir89 I'm the same re the weight however I've had no holidays lmao I've just for a serious appetite Hmm

jollybobs89 · 16/10/2019 21:07

Also I'm still soooooo tired I thought I'd perk up second trimester but that hasn't happened my 20 month old DD probably doesn't help haha

barnyb · 16/10/2019 21:11

If anyone with huge itchy boobs wants to send me some of that action then I'd be most grateful! Fried eggs 🍳 🍳 over here !

jollybobs89 · 16/10/2019 21:21

@barnyb your time will come don't you worry hahaha then you'll regret saying that

barnyb · 16/10/2019 21:25

@jollybobs89 🤣😅😅

Worriedmum97 · 17/10/2019 08:09

How many time per day did you feel baby move around 17 weeks? And from how many weeks could you say you felt your baby move every day? Reassurance of my 12 weeks scan didn’t last long and I’m again in a panic mode that something is not right.

Dinosauraddict · 17/10/2019 08:32

@Worriedmum97 try not to panic, I only felt baby move about twice a week in week 17. Now in week 19 and probably feeling them every other day, but still no strong regular pattern!

Worriedmum97 · 17/10/2019 08:54

Thanks Dinosauradfict. And where do you ladies feel baby moves? I’m having some subtle rolling sensations near my bladder/public bone, but thought the baby should be somewhere between public bone and navel by now. Thanks

MissPepper8 · 17/10/2019 09:00

@Worriedmum97 Try not to worry xx, this is 2nd baby for me and I felt first at 14/15 weeks. Baby was very active then nothing for days, so at 16 week doppler MW initially couldn't find baby, but my god the relief cause I panicked.

I'm 18 weeks now, last week I guess (and kinda this week) I've had loads of movements for a period and then hardly anything again so there's no pattern to it.

Soon as you forget about it baby will start moving again xx

DerbyshireGirly · 17/10/2019 09:29

@Worriedmum97 I'm 18 weeks, been feeling movement for a couple of weeks now and it can be very sporadic. I think because they're still small they can get into positions that we just can't feel very well. I've had days where I've felt nothing, some where it's just been a bit of movement for a few minutes in the evening and then others where it's been almost none stop. It's lovely feeling movements so early but on the flip side it's another thing to worry about! I think you're meant to start tracking movements at 24 weeks so I guess that's when they should have a regular pattern, but you can always contact your midwife if you're worried. That's what they're there for - mine was adamant that you won't be seen as causing a fuss, they are quite happy for you to get in touch as often as you need.

Worriedmum97 · 17/10/2019 09:53

Thanks all. Yeh, in where I live they say if you have some concerns and you’re under 18 weeks you need to go to GP or A&E. Maternity unit would only speak to those over 18 weeks. When I told midwife at 16 weeks appointment that I think it’s unfair to those under 18 weeks she said yes, but so many ladies don’t realise they are pregnant at that stage, which I found odd

sep30 · 17/10/2019 11:26

@Worriedmum97 I would go for a day or two without feeling anything at all even when lying down and really thinking about it and everyone I spoke to said that's normal! So scary I know but they are so diddy at that stage they have so much space to move around in x

sadtoday21 · 17/10/2019 12:04

@Worriedmum97 I haven't felt any movement yet at all and I'm 19 weeks today, should I be worried too?

jollybobs89 · 17/10/2019 12:42

I was always under the understanding that you may not feel any movement till 20 weeks but you could feel it possibly from anywhere from 16 weeks. I'm 17 weeks today and I only felt a tiny movement the other night and even then I wasn't sure if it was gas haha. With my first I was definitely 18/19 weeks before I felt any prominent movement.

DerbyshireGirly · 17/10/2019 13:36

@sadtoday21 everything I've read says that you should contact your midwife if you haven't felt any movements by 24 weeks. Don't worry about not feeling anything this early (easy to say, we're all worrying about everything already).

whiskersonkittenss · 17/10/2019 14:30

don't worry just yet

I have only started feeling my baby move in the past week and a half/2 weeks. im 21+1 now.

MockingJay27 · 17/10/2019 14:33

Hi Everyone,
Sorry i have been quiet a few days, i finally went to the hospital Monday as I’d been having a little spotting on and off last week but they checked heartbeat and took a few swabs but nothing seems to be untoward. Haven’t had any spotting now since Sunday so hopefully wont get anymore. On the countdown for 20 week scan now on November 1st. I think I may have felt one or 2 little movements a few days ago but I’m honestly not sure, nothing strong enough to be certain, also have anterior placenta.

Dinosauraddict · 17/10/2019 15:07

@MockingJay27 glad heartbeat and swabs were ok. I had my first spotting two days ago and it really worried me, but none since so I'm ignoring it tbh (total ostrich approach). Sensible of you to get checked out, and I think a lot of us are on countdown until abnormality scan Smile

Jesskir89 · 17/10/2019 16:44

@yvonne1988 it must be hard but hopefully you will meet some mum friends :) @jennabobs89 I read you should gain up to 5lb in first trimester then roughly a pound a week in your 2nd and 3rd so I think we're OK. I've had a really bad belly today ladies that worried me a little but sorry for tmi went to the toilet and was really constipated do you think it's anything to worry about? X

Yvonne1988 · 17/10/2019 17:25

@jesskir89 I don't hold out much hope lol I never made any first time round.
Iv had a dodgy stomach today but the other way. This morning anyway.
Had a pinching pain all day on my right side. Baby still moving. Round about my ovaries. Guwssing it's that ligament pain maybe

Jesskir89 · 17/10/2019 17:35

@yvonne1988 hopefully :) I've just been to lidl to the baby event pp put on and bought a next to me crib for 80 quid!

SweetChillis · 17/10/2019 19:41

@Worriedmum97 I'm now 19+4 with my first and only really felt baby move properly yesterday. I think it heard me telling a colleague I was concerned I've not really felt anything yet, it was on and off all day. Only the odd occasion today though. I was told with your first anything up to 24 weeks is normal. Most of my friends felt theirs 19/20 weeks.

@sadtoday21 you're only a bit behind me so I'm sure you will feel movements soon, try not to worry. It's hard to not compare yourself to everyone else (I certainly was, so I can't talk) 😊

MunchyMunchkin · 17/10/2019 20:08

@barnyb I’ve also got boobs on the smaller side, they didn’t really get much bigger with bf either. Sorry!

Worriedmum97 · 17/10/2019 20:18

@SweetChillis thanks, that’s my 3rd and I’m very slim. Plus I have diastasis (my abdominal muscles separated and never got back to normal, so I can pretty much feel all insides from my skin), so I was just expecting things to happen earlier this time round. Plus from previous pregnancies I only remember my tummy moving in all sorts of directions, feet coming out here and there, I’ve probably forgotten early weeks.

whiskersonkittenss · 17/10/2019 21:19

@Jesskir89 I've been constipated for a couple of weeks. really rubbish poos when I did manage to go. I'm now going the other way where I'm getting tummy cramps and needing to go often. lactulose did help me a bit when I couldn't go
