For everyone looking at pregnancy pillows I would THOROUGHLY recommend the bbhugme pillow. It is also a nursing pillow but the best thing about it imo is that you can change the tension on it so have it however hard/soft you want! It's not the cheapest on the market but I absolutely adore mine. If I go on holiday, into hospital, or away with work it comes everywhere with me (it comes with its own carry case and a machine washable cover). If anyone needs a link just let me know (and sorry if it sounds like I'm selling them lol, I've just been so pleased with the one DH bought me)!

@Dinosauraddict a friend has lent me this too and it is so comfy! Have only just started using it but absolutely loving it. @Jesskir89 oh I know, so so tempting but the lady was great and once we said no she said we weren't allowed to change our minds, which was so helpful as then the temptation couldn't get the better of us 🙊

@sep30 good on you I've booked a gender scan for Saturday after weeks of us changing out minds lol

I am so embarrassed. I blacked out in a shop. I was dropping my daughter off at a craft club and i just went. Luckily I got a seat but I couldn't believe it. Got checked over by my midwife BP just a little low. Got to hear heartbeat again.
Only thing I can think is I didn't have as much cereal because I ran out. Been told to go home and rest. I'm bored of resting lol

And @sep30 seriously enjoy it, I'm 19 weeks
Now and my DH got mine at 7 weeks so I don't think I could manage without it anymore!

@dinosauraddict yeh I'm absolutely fine. I have no idea what happened.

hi ladies
had my 20 week scan yesterday, I have to go back next Friday as he wasn't cooperating and she couldn't see his lips or kidneys well enough.
apparently he is very long and everything looks fine.
didn't get a pic as he was face down so hopefully next week he'll make the effort lol.

Oh goodness @Yvonne1988 glad you're ok! Maybe have some sweets in your bag incase you feel a bit light headed or something! X

@sep30 yeh I might do.. well I am trying to be good and then they're telling me to go get some sugar or chocolate so I can't win 😂

Everyones scan pictures look lovely. I'm nervous for my 20 week one but it's not til the 12th November.
We had our 16 week apt on Friday and we got to hear the heartbeat 😍 My pregnancy pillow has been ordered as I'm just not comfortable during the night. Hope you are all well.

@yvonne1988 glad you're OK. @whiskersonkittenss at least you get to see him twice :)

Anyone else 2nd or more time round and not yet feeling regular movements? Haven't been worried so far but have had a D+V bug this week (on holiday, typical) and not really feeling anything definite which makes me bit worried. I'm 19+2 now. Probs have an anterior placenta like I did last time though. Might be feeling something but hard to tell and nothing strong yet!
1000% LOOK pregnant though, can't believe how much bigger I am this time round 🙈

How much weight has everyone put on so far? This is my second and I'm worried I'm gaining lbs far too fast

@blondie87 !!! Congratulations on your little boy! You knew he was a boy ! :) amazing ! Did you due date stay the same? I have my scan tomorrow ! So excited xxxx

@jollybobs89 I haven't weighed myself but my belly is getting rather large ! And I have noticed I'm getting a bit plumber all over ! Also my appetite is better so I keep having cheeky sweets and Belgium buns !!! Oh ohhhh!!! I'm still in the same size clothes that I was before however it's all getting a bit tight !!! also I'm 5 months in two weeks so to be expected right !??

@threegreensheep I read that if mum is poorly baby can reserve themselves so mum can recharge. Also yes poss anterior placenta ?? When I was 18 weeks my baby stopped for a few days so I rang my midwife and had me come in that morning to do the Doppler! It definitely put my mind at ease! Maybe something to try? X

@jollybobs89 I can't bring myself to weigh myself. I can barely cope with looking at myself. Apart from my bump I can still fit in my old clothes so it can't be as bad as I think.
I think it's all gone to my boobs! They keep growing.

@Yvonne1988 I think I'm the only woman is history who's boobs have not grown !!! Iv got the worlds smallest boobs anyway and I was so excited to see them grow! But nope! Just my arse and my face ! 👍🏼

@barnyb oh god my started to grow right away. After a few weeks I couldn't wear my normal bra. I got a medium padded but not wired thing from Asda and I finally gave in and got a large. I'll be sad when they go 😂 I'm dreading that part when the milk comes in and it won't get used so they go rock hard and round like jordans

Now I need a moan. Apart from like family my partner, kids, my mum over text.. I think I only ever talk to people on here. The one person I thought was a friend at work doesn't talk to me the same anymore. Most of the time it's ok I just watch TV but sometimes I hate having no friends. I'm 31 and makes me feel so silly.

@jennabobs89 I've gained 5.5lb and almost 18 weeks plus had 2 holidays since becoming pregnant so I'm quite pleased with myself I have been following slimming world though. @threegreensheep I've only just began to feel movement so no pattern yet. @yvonne1988 is that because of you moving from Manchester you've lost touch with people?

@yvonne I get where you’re coming from- I’m in a slightly different situation as we have just relocated for work and left behind loads of friends. I’ve met some people in our new place but it takes a while to get to know people properly. It can be lonely! Can you join any clubs? I’ve set up a book club with some other mums. I’ve also met people through pregnancy yoga.

@Yvonne1988 oh lovely that's a really rubbish situation your in! Sorry your feeling lonely friend wise ! Iv had times when iv felt this way but actually I'm quite happy to be just me husband and kitty cat most of the time ! :)
it's good you've made friendly connections on here ! It's such a great way to communicate with like minded people! And everyone is so kind on here too eh! X

@blondie87 oh yes a sticky bun and a tea ! YES PLEASE ! Also that so not the norm for me at all! So me and husband have been having a right giggle at my new dietary requirements 😻

@Jesskir89 @barnyb I probably knew less people back in Manchester than I do here. But I'm really bad when people have established groups already I can't fit myself into it.
There's no groups here my mum keeps saying I need to do antenatal classes but I don't think I could stand it. I can't do anything after school hours because partner works away and nights so I have to be here. I'm quite happy to just spend all day at home with him but he works alot.
