Hey all!

Looks like we filled up the first thread pretty fast! Took me a while to realise why I couldn't send a message.

This is the first thread I've ever created, so hopefully I've done it right.

I'm going to tag the most recent users that commented, so sorry for a lot of the people that I miss. Hopefully everyone will find this.

Thanks @littledinosaurs, good to know it's not just me! The 12 weeks scan is supposed to be exciting, but my anxiety has taken all the fun out of it. I'll post an update tomorrow! X

@Bookworm83 I'm the same today, I've eaten properly and dont feel nauseous for the first time in ages and starting to stress me out haha! Need to relax!

I've just noticed some brownish discharge. Almost 12 weeks and I'm panicking. DH is at a meeting and I'm sobbing all alone

@leag1 it could just be things settling in. Brown blood is old blood. Epau told me to not worry unless red heavy and painful cramps. Hopefully all be will ok for you

It's so nice to have a group to chat on, as we are all going through that together. Anyone any tips for constipation? x

@jessie0222 I have the worst constipation. I've drank loads of water and tried to increase my fibre intake. It has made me more regular but still quite painful. It's not glamorous. X

I'm 8 weeks today and although I have the symptoms of feeling sick & constipation I get what you mean about not feeling pregnant. I really struggled last week and didn't want to eat. This week I'm hungry all the time. I'm OK until I get up for work, get out of the shower and go to brush my teeth and i start being sick. It's a horrible egg yolk like colour no bits or anything very liquid like.

Finding work tough as I work in a reception class and been settling 30 children in. I'm so tired when I get back home. In the afternoon I feel like I need a huge poo but nothing comes out and it feels like trapped wind. Not enjoying that part!

Ive got my first midwife appointment next week. Going to see when my 1st NHS scan will be if it's another few weeks I'll possibly pay for an early one as I can't take it in I'm pregnant (know that sounds really odd)

Out of interest and sorry if this is too personal but has anyone had sex whilst being pregnant, I had a cheeky poke last night with DH (his birthday!) and wow it was the best feeling I had in a LONG time..... Got the horn now hahaha.

I think it's normal for some people to have lessened symptoms at this time because the placenta is doing more hormone stuff. So not necessarily a sign of anything bad. X

This morning I still have brown spotting and haven't been sick. I couldn't sleep all night

I’m somewhere around 8/9 weeks now and I still haven’t had any sickness. And only small waves of nausea every now and again. Mostly I just feel hungry and have to eat all the time. I feel really lucky but also hope everything is ok in there! Midwife wasn’t concerned. I do other have other symptoms like really sore boobs, increased discharge and bloating (I actually seem to be forming a bump now but sure it’s just bloat) and the tiredness makes my head muzzy. But generally I’m ok, I honestly expected it to be hell! I do wonder though if we get used to feeling rubbish and forget what it’s like to feel normal?!

@leag1 I’ve had brown spotting at least twice a week since I got a positive pg test. When is your scan? If you are worried can you go to your EPU?

@Sunshine8888 my scan should be on 26th but I'm away until mid October. I had a private scan at 9+3 and all was fine. Unsure if I should go to a hospital here and try and see someone

@leag1 if you’re really worried then I probably would for reassurance x

I'm just back from my scan, there's definitely a baby in there!!! We got to hear the heartbeat, see the brain, everything is looking absolutely perfect, I couldn't be more relieved!

Hugs to all those of you still waiting for your scans, it's a bizzare but wonderful experience! X

What a lovely photo, I have my first appointment tomorrow so hoping I get my scan date. My head feels so weird today like muzzy and dizziness not enjoyable.

Evening/night/morning all.

Saying hi and finally allowing myself to join this thread. Pregnant with first baby, due mid April. Am an ex-MW so have a good idea of what to expect but certainly doesn't reduce the early pregnancy anxiety. Have had every problem going so far including nausea, vomiting, reflux, migraines, thrush, nipple eczema (it's a thing, and it's not nice!!!) and my boobs have gone up two sizes already
Had a reassurance scan last week as we needed to tell my in laws (family wedding) and all was well. A tiny bit of pink loss Sunday but none since and no pain so just hoping all is well for our dating scan in 13 days.

I'm good, keeping busy at work so the next few weeks fly by. I ended up booking a private scan for Sunday when I'll be about 9+2. The small bit of nausea I had has disappeared so I started getting worried again 🙈 hopefully seeing a baby and heartbeat will reassure me! How are you doing?

@Bookworm83 ahh what a beautiful scan, congratulations!! How exciting that you got to hear the heartbeat as well! So pleased for you 😊
