Loving the bump photos! Love the wee cat guest appearance too!

I'm out now and back to work.
Midwife was saying the movement was quite a lot and so they kept me on another half hour and he did settle down. She took a photo of the graph thingy and sent it to a Dr so I may get called back for a scan but she was happy to let me go for now. If you soon in on this photo you see the top section at left side it's very busy and then top right is what she called "normal" movement.
I had the wild movement from 7.30am and she said I did the right thing to go in.

Did the MW say what could have caused little one to be so super active today @Whisky2014? Or is it just one of those things? Good to be reassured though!

Having such a lazy day today - am WFH but waiting for a project to kick off so got v little to do. Feeling guilty, which is mad, but there you go.

Here is my bump update (31+4) - definitely bigger than with DD (belly button is well and truly popped out now and that only happened the last couple of weeks with her) but not feeling too massive just yet. No doubt I’ll balloon in the next month or so.

No there was no explanation, just that there is no saying what babies will do!

You look great @BridgetJonesDaiquiri!!

kyles101 · 19/07/2019 13:42

Ah, they're great weights @boodles101 I feel for your back though!!

Loving all the bump pics, I still haven't got one actually, must get on that as soon as I tidy my bedroom enough to show in the background Wink

Dyra · 19/07/2019 13:47

Glad all is alright with baby @Whisky2014. Just got that Friday feeling I hope. Good to hear twins are doing well as well @boodles101.

You've all got me sighing with envy over your bump photos. They're all so nice and well shaped. In my scrubs I just feel (and look) like a shapeless blue blob.

Hello @Karigan195's kitty. Grin

happydays00 · 19/07/2019 14:39

Holy moly @Whisky2014 that is a LOT of movements!!! I'm in hospital no for the opposite: reduced movements. Since Monday baby's movements have dramatically reduced, was monitored yesterday at one of my scheduled appointments and had to lie in all different positions until they were happy with baby's heart rate so generally feeling very anxious about it.

All the bump pictures are lovely!! @boodles101 those are fantastic weights, good cooking!! Have they confirmed your delivery date yet?

Fortheloveofscience · 19/07/2019 15:36

Hope baby wakes up soon happydays, let us know how it goes.

boodles101 · 19/07/2019 15:50

So they ended up keeping me in after the scan, waited hours to see a doctor who wasn't happy with one of the Doppler readings. They were so busy there wasn't actually anyone to see me so I've come away with very little info other than twin 1 has a very high reading for the blood flow to her cerebral artery. I've got to have a repeat Doppler scan next week, another growth scan and repeat my GTT test. I've no idea what any of this means or why they need to keep an eye on it but I'll have to wait til Wednesday to ask my consultant.

IVEgottheDECAF · 19/07/2019 15:52

boodles the lack of info is not great is it!

Whisky2014 · 19/07/2019 15:55

Thinking of @happydays00 and @boodles101 I hope everything is ok. It is stressful not knowing what's going on. What a shame

Puglover88 · 19/07/2019 16:33

Loving all the bump pics! @happydays00 and @boodles101 I hope that everything is ok, at least you’re being monitored but the wait to find out if everything is ok can be so anxious!

Last day at work today, woo!

Stroan · 19/07/2019 16:47

Hope everything is ok @happydays00 and @boodles101

Sounds like you are both being well taken care of and monitored, but it's not much fun when you don't know what's going on.

@whisky2014 wow! Future kickboxer maybe?

So many lovely bump pics!

Hsunshine · 19/07/2019 16:50

@boodles101 when I was worried about a test and no one had time to talk to me, I called the day assessment unit (like the day time not the 24hr triage) and they gave me an appointment the next day (on a Sunday) to explain why they needed to do stuff and what the results meant

DustyDoorframes · 19/07/2019 17:15

Ouf very stressful @boodles101 and @Hsunshine !
Boodles do you have a named midwife who might be able to explain if you ring?
Fingers crossed all is well and you are back home very shortly Hsunshine!

Hsunshine · 19/07/2019 17:16

I am all good, mine was a few weeks ago

boodles101 · 19/07/2019 17:22

dusty doorframes I did ring my own midwife but she couldn't answer my questions. I'll just have to wait a few days. I'm telling myself that if things were urgent they wouldn't have let me go today and would have asked me to come back sooner.

IVEgottheDECAF · 19/07/2019 17:34

That is a good way of looking at it boodles!

Exitstrategist · 19/07/2019 17:36

Hi- currently 31 weeks. Second baby. Finding it really hard to keep track of movements as I have an anterior placenta and feel very little. Is anyone in the same position? Also, I’m a bit worried having seen all your bumps that mine is too small.

Stroan · 19/07/2019 18:01

@exitstrategist firstly, don't worry about bump size. They really do come in all different shapes and sizes. But you could ask your midwife for reassurance if you are really concerned?

On the movement, again, do call in if you are worried. But if you have any kind of consistent pattern of movement, that's what you are watching for. For example, I know if i sit in a certain position he will always start wriggling.

Karigan195 · 19/07/2019 18:07

How many times a day are your guys bumps getting hiccups? Tigger has had them 4 times today. Getting a little worried as internet suggests cord restriction can cause repeated hiccups....

OP posts:
Karigan195 · 19/07/2019 18:07

Oh I did phone earlier on the last bout and they said hiccups are usually a good sign so keep an eye on it only

Ffs. After two weeks of being head down this afternoon i am 90% sure baby turned to breech and just now to transverse!

Karigan195 · 19/07/2019 18:18

Tigger does that decaf. Seems to switch weekly. Try the spinning babies kneel on the sofa and put your hands on the floor thing. Plus the ball of course!

IVEgottheDECAF · 19/07/2019 18:19

Im just concerned as i was told my over used uterus means i am risk for an unstable lie!

Exitstrategist · 19/07/2019 18:26

Thank you for that Stroan. I was referred for a growth scan a couple of weeks ago. Looks ok but smaller than my first. Feeling a bit disconnected from this pregnancy as I just don’t feel that much and of course I have my first pregnancy to compare if that makes sense?
