Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

I'm 7+1. Until the weekend had been anxious because I hadn't had any morning sickness at all. That suddenly changed on Saturday! Dear God I can't believe I wished for this to happen...

Bigpea · 22/07/2019 12:15

Can I also ask how old everybody is? I'm 34 and this will be my first baby. I feel like I'm finally going to have to be a grown-up now Grin

caffeinebuzz · 22/07/2019 12:18

@EMcG3 I was counting this exact thing out the other day, as suspected it would be around the cut off time for flying without a note. An little tool to do it for you would be so handy! Luckily my return flight is just the right side of 28 weeks, as last time around my doctor wouldn't give me a note after that.

Got a call from the EPU this morning, early scan booked on 6th Aug, when I'll be 7+1 weeks. Just got to be patient for another two weeks!

caffeinebuzz · 22/07/2019 12:19

Oh, and I'm 32 @Bigpea

AMos16 · 22/07/2019 12:28

@Bigpea - 30 years old. Also the first child.

My first scan is tomorrow and im due on 3 March.

satsumasaturday · 22/07/2019 12:43

Thanks @Kimberlily it went well, We got to see a little heartbeat, and she dated me around 7 weeks, which is what I thought. So relieved! Now I need to make my booking in appointment. How did yours go this morning?

@Bigpea I'm 32 and this is also our first. I had been worrying I wasn't really feeling very pregnant too but since Friday I've been absolutely exhausted! I get waves of nausea but it usually is sorted by eating a polo so I'd been wondering if it was in my head

GingerRogers84 · 22/07/2019 14:06

@Frillyfarmer no worries. I'll probably pop on every now and then to remind people and let new ones know about the group. 😊

I've replied to those who have pm'd me about the secret FB group. X

Rosetinted47 · 22/07/2019 14:26

I'm going with hurt my back at work so on painkillers. Got a hen do with a bucking bronco in a few weeks so feel this covers me for that and drinking!

Just phoned my doctor to arrange my booking spot, I've got to see the Dr first. What a waste! When I was pregnant with DD 5 years ago the Dr just asked me if I had taken a test, and sent me on my way. DS 3 years ago I just booked direct with the midwife.

Lovely to hear of all of you having lovely early scans!

GingerRogers84 · 22/07/2019 14:59

Just replied to a few more of you ladies about the secret FB group. Basically it's my details so you can friend request me so I can add you to the group! 😊 x

GingerRogers84 · 22/07/2019 15:04

Have also updated my settings on there if you were having problems accessing my profile! Smile

Kimberlily · 22/07/2019 16:21

No idea how to private message on this! @GingerRogers84 how do you join your page on FB?

mangobutter · 22/07/2019 17:58

@trixytrix glad to hear you're doing okay!

Sorry not to keep up with the group, I've been struggling with really bad anxiety, I want to be happy but can't stop worrying about money. Feeling very stressed alternated with occasional moments of excitement! Not helped by work and home being totally mental right now, so so busy.

Not sure how I feel about a FB group, I sometimes find FB a bit anxiety-inducing. Having said that it's probably be easier to keep up with than a thread. Will anyone not be joining so this thread will continue? The group I was on previously almost totally migrated over there so nothing was really left on MN...

Kimberlily · 22/07/2019 18:49

@mangobutter I'm sorry to hear your feeling this way. There is so much to consider when you fall pregnant and it can be overwhelming! All I keep telling myself that everything will work out. ❤️ I'm more anxious about the amount I am eating at the moment.

I actually don't use Facebook anymore but still have a page and would be happy to chat over it. I totally agree with the anxiety inducing comment. I went through I little patch a couple of years ago and deleted it from my phone because every time I looked at it I was getting upset or feeling envious of someone which was horrible. Im not a jealous person and I know social media is not real but you can't help your feelings. I would like to remain on MN too

Cocomad · 22/07/2019 19:26

I also have no idea how to pm on here how do I join the fb group?

MunchyMunchkin · 22/07/2019 19:39

@cocomad
I’ve made a quick screenshot to illustrate.

Kimberlily · 22/07/2019 19:43

@MunchyMunchkin that was sweet of you. I must have a different page to everyone else as don't have the three dots. Maybe you have to have a different subscription..... or maybe I am more of a technophobe than I though!

MunchyMunchkin · 22/07/2019 20:07

@Kimberlily that’s the view on my iPhone so that may be why yours is different.

Perhaps @GingerRogers84 could pm you if you can’t find it?

GingerRogers84 · 22/07/2019 20:20

@Kimberlily @MunchyMunchkin
You can't access inbox etc if you're using the app. If you log in on a browser you can then find the pm bit. Smile

barnyb · 22/07/2019 20:23

@Ithoughtyouwere hey! Congratulations!! :) I registered my pregnancy about 4 weeks ago! And still haven't heard a peep from my midwife! Lol. Ah well!
I know exactly how you feel re the sick and the eating! Funny enough I'm the opposite though! I am ok with sweet stuff and it's the savoury that is making me feel awful! Which is madness because I'm a savoury girl!! Xxx

Kimberlily · 22/07/2019 20:30

@MunchyMunchkin @GingerRogers84 Thank you ladies. This makes sense as I am using the app. Problem solved 🥰

Cocomad · 22/07/2019 20:33

@MunchyMunchkin that’s fab thank you!

Cocomad · 22/07/2019 20:36

Does anyone know how many midwife appointments you have with your second pregnancy? I have my first appointment in two weeks I know I won’t have one once a month like first time round, but no idea how often I should expect them.

Fierwena · 22/07/2019 20:37

@Bigpea im 33 and this is my first, ive been stuggling with headaches and heartburn oh and cramps! A complete suprise for me as me and my husband didnt think we would have children so very happy indeed, although i live in a cottage so i have no idea where i will fit the babys stuff!

MunchyMunchkin · 22/07/2019 20:40

Cocomad · 22/07/2019 21:06
