Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

@Frillyfarmer @MunchyMunchkin @barnyb
These are the problems I've been having too! I actually fancied a Burger King earlier for the first time in a couple of weeks AND just about managed to drink an entire cup of tea earlier for the first time in about as long too so I'm hoping the food aversions are on their way out maybe?! 🤞

Kimberlily · 20/07/2019 20:11

@RoRosmama I'm delighted for you!!!! 🙌🏼😘 just logged on to see if you had updated the chat!

barnyb · 20/07/2019 20:23

@Pikachu1 mine have definitely subsided a lot! But I'm still not out of the woods yet! I feel sick after everything I eat. But last week I couldn't even eat anything at all! So it's a plus !! Xxx

blondie87 · 21/07/2019 07:30

It’s so hard feeling awful all the time!! I am just grazing constantly to try to stop feeling sick but then I feel yucky for eating!! I keep telling myself it’s a sign that the hormones are there. Yes to only just managing a cup of tea! I normally drink 4 cups a day but I went a week without one as it tasted disgusting. Had my first enjoyable one yesterday!

Frillyfarmer · 21/07/2019 07:49

Absolutely nailing slimming world this morning - just had a scone with clotted cream for breakfast 😂

In my defence, DS woke up at 4.30 😱

barnyb · 21/07/2019 08:58

@blondie87 sounds like we are all in the same boat !! It's really upsetting eating crap all the time and then feeling hideous after!! X

MunchyMunchkin · 21/07/2019 09:01

I think you’re nailing life with a scone for breakfast @Frillyfarmer

A few people have said well it’s great to be symptomatic lots of hormones. My new catchphrase to reply to this is that I’m ‘grateful but hateful’
Shall we get T-shirt’s?

barnyb · 21/07/2019 09:24

Let's change the subject a bit. Has anyone purchased anything yet?? What do we have so far?? Or if not, when will you start?
Iv got a bit of stuff already because it's been collected since last year at my first and second pregnancies. Also my grandmother is a shopaholic and baby fanatic so she's got us quite a lot of clothing, blankets etc.
We also have a Moses basket, a sleepy head and a monitor. I'm not getting anything else until we've had the 12 week scan though.
Xxx

caffeinebuzz · 21/07/2019 09:33

@barnyb Wow, you're going to be so organized! I still have most stuff from DD, so will just need to sort through that and see what's missing, but will wait until after the 20 week scan when we know the gender.

Cocomad · 21/07/2019 09:42

Hi everyone is it ok to join? I know I’m a bit late to the party! I’m 7+4 with dc 2 I have estimated my due date to be 5th March. My dd is 7, she’ll be 8 at the end of March, going to be a busy month for me! Had this dc been planned I would have planned better!

Kimberlily · 21/07/2019 09:58

@Frillyfarmer I agree with @MunchyMunchkin ...... sounds to me your living your best life whilst you can!

I have woken up this morning with the realisation that eggs turn my stomach! I'm baffled how this can happen so suddenly!

barnyb · 21/07/2019 10:21

@caffeinebuzz that's so handy you have stuff already! They need so much stuff ! I can't believe it. You just need to be supper organised don't you! It's really overwhelming thinking about it all. And where the heck am I going to put it all???

I guess you meant dd! 😂 thank you, like I say it wasn’t planned so was a shock but then again neither was dd1, I guess I must be extra fertile In June too! I feel like my last pregnancy was so long ago I have forgotten all about it! I think I did get mild morning sickness with her but nothing major, this time I feel sick most of the day but I can also eat anything that’s put in front of me I’m sure last time I was really fussy, and I’m so tired this time, I could put my head on my desk at work and fall asleep without any problems!

blondie87 · 21/07/2019 10:57

Welcome @cocomad!

BramwellHadThoughtOfEverything · 21/07/2019 11:05

Hi, just joining in over here with just into March and no more! 2nd baby due 30th March, just found out for sure last night after a week of squinting at faint lines and trying to read too much into it a clear blue digital last night confirmed! Look forward to chatting as we get closer!

blondie87 · 21/07/2019 11:35

Welcome @bramwell!

I did have loads of baby stuff and maternity clothes with my 2 dc but I sold most of it after DC2 🤦‍♀️

mommato3 · 21/07/2019 12:46

@Frillyfarmer I'm nailing slimming world too. We've been snacking on swirl cheesecakes with double cream 😂🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ usually about 9pm!!!

Babamamma · 21/07/2019 13:05

Just joining and wanted to say hello! Just found out we are expecting baby number 3 on 18 March which is a total (but lovely) surprise! Anyone else on baby 3 and feel like they are showing already? I know it’s probably just bloat but goodness me it’s been pretty instant! Anyway, look forward to chatting lots over the coming months xx

Cocomad · 21/07/2019 13:06

It’s strange I feel sick when I wake up so I eat breakfast, as soon as I start to feel hungry again I feel sick so I eat again but it’s like there’s no let up through the day it’s a cycle all day long of feeling hungry and sick so eating then feeling hungry and sick again, on Friday I ate breakfast at home then breakfast biscuits at work 2 cereal bars then a sandwich an apple a bag of crisps and a chocolate bar for lunch, I snacked on strawberry laces through the afternoon stopped for a cheeseburger on the way home then had dinner finally felt full up around 8.30!

barnyb · 21/07/2019 13:10

@Cocomad ! Omg that's me ! All day long! Last Thursday night I was feeling that sickly hungry feeling when I got into bed. I thought well if I just go to sleep then it will go! Nope!! All night I kept waking up feeling sick! It was a bloody nightmare night! But I refused to go down and eat something ! I'm so worried I'm going to get ginormous!!

MunchyMunchkin · 21/07/2019 13:10

Welcome to all the newbies and good luck to those of you on number three! I’m barely sure how I’ll cope with two!

@barnyb I have most stuff from DD so just need to make sure any stuff I have let friends borrow is returned in time and remember not to lend it out again. I did buy some cute 0-3 leggings in Sainsbury’s as they were £2.50 and had giraffes on. I love giraffes so couldn’t leave them there. They had a few others bits but all still full price so that can wait till 12 weeks.

Going to treat myself to a new sling as well.

barnyb · 21/07/2019 13:14

@MunchyMunchkin oh that's nice ! I actually do have a sling thing too! I forgot ! I got it from Aldi it was about £20 and I thought that was a bargain. Although I want to make sure it's safe!
That's great you have all the stuff from DD! And yes! Get your stuff back! ASAP 😂

caffeinebuzz · 21/07/2019 13:19

@barnyb Yes, I know! I'm planning for them to share a room until we can hopefully move house in a couple of years, but no idea how all the baby stuff is going to fit in an already full toddlers room!
