Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

@Rumi1 I'm sorry to hear your worrying. It's a horrible time. Hopefully I can give you reassurance as the same happened to me. I went for a scan thinking I was 6 weeks and there was no fetal pole. Then had another scan yesterday and measuring at 7 weeks with heartbeat. Fingers crossed you have your dates wrong. Please keep us updated x

barnyb · 19/07/2019 16:42

@Kimberlily ah that's great news for you too! So you must have been 7 weeks and 1 days yesterday too! So nice. Last week I had extreme nausea it was dreadful and my sense of smell was evil! 😂🤭🤢 this week I'm tired and I feel constantly sicky but it's like a hunger sicky. What about you???? Xxxxx

barnyb · 19/07/2019 16:49

@Rumi1 so sorry you have this looming over you! I had something similar back in November which was bad news. But! We didn't have a heart beat in the 5 Wks scan. There was nothing going on at all xxxxx

barnyb · 19/07/2019 16:52

@Fierwena hello! I think most people do go for an early scan. It's just for nice reassurance if anything ! Xxx

sam2012 · 19/07/2019 18:02

Hello everyone, hope all ok? I'm ok not feeling as sick so that is good. X

Bigpea · 19/07/2019 18:52

How much is standard to pay for an early private scan?

RoRosmama · 19/07/2019 18:57

@Rumi1 I have everything crossed for you. When is your app next week? How are you feeling?x

barnyb · 19/07/2019 18:58

@Bigpea I paid £70 for mine. I guess it's different depending on your location and the company you go to. Google nearest centres to you and have a look or give them a call xx

barnyb · 19/07/2019 19:00

@sam2012 that's good news! Make the most of it because it might come back with vengeance!!!

Kimberlily · 19/07/2019 19:05

@barnyb Yes yesterday I was 7+1. I have been feeling exactly the same, hungry sicky! The min I feel sick I have to eat! It's such a sudden feeling too! I feel like I am eating all day long but never satisfied! I'm defo not going to be a glowing pregnant woman! Fatty and swollen here I come if I continue to experience this hunger! 🤯

barnyb · 19/07/2019 19:18

@Kimberlily I know I'm exactly the same! It's awful! I woke up all night last night with that hunger sicky in my throat and I refused to go and eat but it made me feel rubbish all night 🙈 I'm really worried I'll be the size of a house !! This is way more then I'd normally eat! Also iv gone off all the normal healthy food I'd normally eat on a day to day basis 😱😫😫😫

RoRosmama · 19/07/2019 19:24

@barnyb gosh this is exactly how I feel! I am normally super healthy and hardly ever eat carbs. Well this has completely changed and all I want is bread and pasta and mash potato. I've gone off meat completely which is soooo unlike me. Vegetables can also do one, but I am literally forcing them down me. Pregnancy is weird!

barnyb · 19/07/2019 19:40

@RoRosmama oh god don't !!! I'm a huge veg eater! Cooked, raw you name it !! But today I made home made burgers and had the smallest bit of lettuce and tomato and it ruined the whole meal! I hated it!!! Also I need carbs because that's the only thing that helps this feeling. BUT once Iv eaten something I go off it! So iv had mash and pasta and bread and I can't look at it for a few days after! I had brown rolls tonight and I had to go and have a wash because all I could smell was the disgusting bread rolls on my paws!!! 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈😂🤩 I have a lucky husband !

Rightnow1245 · 19/07/2019 19:49

Kimberlily I know it’s so hard to know what you can and can’t do! I’ve forgotten it from last time hahaha
That’s good they have been helpful 😊 it’s Defo less stressful when you get what you need.

barnyba Happy for you 😊 glad you had a good scan today.

Abi58 Yeah I bet the dizziness is making it worse! How horrible for you 😬 yeah it is good they are keeping an eye on me but maybe they will tell me to come back at a later date 🤔

Rumi1 so sorry you didn’t get to see what you was hoping for.. it is very possible you could of ovulated late 🤞🏽 The month before my BFP I ovulated on CD10 I usually ovulate on CD21-23 so it could be possible you ovulated later 😊 I know this week is going to feel like forever but I will be sending positive vibes x

I’ve also been eating so bad! I had MC D yesterday and Saturday and done think I’ve eaten it for about 3 years before Saturday.. also been eating lots of chocolate croissant which are amazing 👌 i put on 4.5 stone last pregnancy because I ate what I wanted 😂 think I heading that way again

Pikachu1 · 19/07/2019 22:26

So jealous of everyone eating so much! Nearly everything I look at makes me feel super sick! 🤢🤣

Fierwena · 19/07/2019 22:51

@Bigpea i paid £75 for my scan that includes some printed pictures too, although i have booked it for 8 + 5 to be on the safe side,

Im also feeling hungry all the time, fancying loads of fruit recently and milkshakes for some reason, ive not had any sickness yet but im thinking i will get it any day now, i just have real emotional moments and my sense of smell has gone crazy!

Fierwena · 19/07/2019 23:00

Forgot to mention i have been walking for a good 30-45 minutes each night and that seems to help with sleep for me :)

MunchyMunchkin · 20/07/2019 08:30

@RoRosmama I’m also normally low carb but it has gone out the window for now. Hoping to get back on it soon as really don’t want to pile on the kgs.
Got a good pregnancy nutrition book coming today so hoping that will give me a kick up the bum. (Real food for pregnancy by lily Nichols, all about the benefits of low carb in pregnancy).

Re scans - round here it’s £40-£100 depending where you go so definitely worth shopping around.

RoRosmama · 20/07/2019 10:24

@RoRosmama yey!! Day after me !!! :) xxx

Abi58 · 20/07/2019 13:01

@RoRosmama aw yay I was wondering how you got on 😍 so so happy for you 💕

mommato3 · 20/07/2019 13:25

I'm starting to feel really anxious now. I really need these next 12 days to go fast and well. I'm now at the stage where I had my first mmc and my most recent mc so the anxiety is really kicking my arse.... kinda wish I'd booked it for next week now.....

Frillyfarmer · 20/07/2019 16:31

The list of meals I'm now gagging at is ridiculous 😂 I'm hungry but bread is out and I've had seriously watery mouth at the thought of soup. I feel like I'm going to be living off pasta for a few weeks at this rate!

MunchyMunchkin · 20/07/2019 17:32

That is a disaster @Frillyfarmer I’ve had two days running where I haven’t been able to finish my cup of tea as the taste had been weird. Remember this from DDs pregnancy, sad times.

barnyb · 20/07/2019 19:14

@Frillyfarmer oh god don't!! I can't find anything to eat! It's a bloody joke!!!! it's something new every day! It's so difficult!!
