Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

@sam2012 I am so sorry to hear this. I would be devistated! Thanks for sharing - it's a good reminder to take them off as soon as they start feeling a little bit tight.

sam2012 · 17/07/2019 09:01

I'm absolutely gutted 😢😢😢

Pikachu1 · 17/07/2019 09:31

@barnyb
It is too sore to really brush but I can sort of wiggle the toothbrush around back there. I don't have any pain or swelling anywhere else in my mouth, it's definitely something to do with this particular wisdom tooth as every now and then usually it has a go at coming through (it's partially erupted) but there's not really enough room in my mouth. So when I try to give it a good brush the brush just sort of hits the back of my jaw. It's hard to explain what I mean lol. Usually I can just ignore the pain of it trying to come through and after a few days it passes. But this is the usual pain it gives off when it tries to come through times a million ☹️. I think it needs taking out to be honest but I expect I'll have to wait a while for that! I've been trying the salt water rinses so thanks for that. My partner suggested Anbesol for pain relief, apparently it's given to teething babies?! It seems to be safe but the recommendation is to speak to your dentist or pharmacist first if pregnant so I'll ask at my appointment. Thank you again for your advice!

mommato3 · 17/07/2019 09:41

@Pikachu1 I'd second the anbesol. You can get infant and adult type but go for the liquid. You can use it pretty much ad lib. Hope it helps and the pain eases. I got my wisdom teeth at 15. I remember going to school looking like a hamster ffs 🤦‍♀️ and the pain.... personally I'd rather give birth 🤣

Anyway, I hope you get sorted soon hun. Hugs xx

mommato3 · 17/07/2019 09:42

@helpasisterout Good luck with your scan today. Fingers crossed for a sticky bean xx

Pikachu1 · 17/07/2019 09:48

@mommato3
Ah good, I hope it works, even if just to ease the pain to a manageable level!

mommato3 · 17/07/2019 09:51

@Pikachu1 Good luck xx

helpasisterout · 17/07/2019 09:54

Thanks all for your messages you are all so kind and deserve all the happiness that your little beans bring you for being so kind to me.

Been for my scan had internal and external and blood and urine and they have confirmed a miscarriage at aprox 6 weeks, naturally we are both gutted after taking a while to get to this point but can't fault the staff etc for their service.

Going home to chill out and won't be checking these threads but I wish each and every one of you all the best in your pregnancies and hope to join you in motherhood soon! Xxx

Kimberlily · 17/07/2019 09:59

@helpasisterout I'm so sorry to hear this. It's such a difficult thing to come to terms with. Even only knowing that you are pregnant for 2 weeks sends your brain into planning mode and the disappointment and hurt is awful when you realise it's back to life as you know it. I hope you manage to relax today and wishing you all the best for the future. Enjoy a glass of fizz at weekend for all of the hopeful mummies 2 b x

Kimberlily · 17/07/2019 10:08

@sam2012 ohhhh noooo! That's awful! 😥

Ladies isn't is strange how it affects us all differently. I am seriously worried as only symptom I have is hunger. I managed to bring scan forward from Monday to tomorrow so really hoping to see a heatbeat! I should be 7 weeks and 4 days. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
💕

Ginandgingers92 · 17/07/2019 10:15

@helpasisterout I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope your get your sticky bean very soon xxx

AuroraMJ · 17/07/2019 10:49

@helpasisterout So sorry to hear this 💔 Take care of yourself and I hope the future holds a little sticky bean just for you.

Frillyfarmer · 17/07/2019 10:58

@helpasisterout I'm so sorry to read your news. Miscarriage is devastating at any stage - make sure you rest up and take the time you need to recover. Sending you all my love xx

AMos16 · 17/07/2019 12:06

5 positives later, and im due on my birthday 3rd March.
First scan and midwife appointment is next week.
Fingers crossed, I've read a few topics where people have gone to scan and seen nothing! Bit worried.

Abi58 · 17/07/2019 12:35

@barnyb 😁😍

@Ginandgingers92 I'm so bloated too! I'm wearing floaty and baggy in an attempt to hide it and blaming cake where it's questioned 🙈

@Pikachu1 how did you get on?
My weird symptoms are increased body odour (beautiful) and as well and constantly nauseous I'm also constantly dizzy and keep having cold moments with goose bumps I just want blankets 🙈 struggling as my work computer feels like it's moveing about and it's making me feel really odd

Aw so glad you got to see your baby and it's all looking good 😍

@latkins70 try not to worry I had really sharp cramps for weeks but think it's just everything stretching (also tmi but when it was really bad a good fart eased the pain so think it was also partly gas which has never given me pain before!)

They probably wouldn't be able to do much but what matters is you feeling ok so if you are worried speak to a dr

@Rightnow1245 thank you :) ☺️😍

@sam2012 aw no 🙁 you can get them rejoined later at a jewellers 💕

@helpasisterout so so sorry 🙁 sending lots of love and make sure you look after yourself 💕

@AMos16 welcome and congratulations, if you scroll down you'll see my scan I had last night at 6+3 good luck ☺️

Abi58 · 17/07/2019 12:44

@MunchyMunchkin how are you? Did your colleague scan you last week? I've missed loads of posts and can't remember if I saw it 😩

How is everyone else feeling?

Tbh I feel like I need to man up I'm really struggling 😭

AMos16 · 17/07/2019 12:44

@Abi58
Lovely! What is 6+3?

I hope to see something similar next week - expecting that im around 8 weeks.

In the meantime my breasts are massive, and heavy. Im nauseaus all the time and spent all last week over the toilet. I still managed to gain 1.5 kilos so theres that.

RoRosmama · 17/07/2019 12:48

@helpasisterout I am truly sorry for you both. It is one of the most heartbreaking experiences. My thoughts are with you. Please try to take comfort in knowing that many women have miscarriages before giving birth to a healthy baby. I did!
Relax, rest up and forget about the world for a bit. Hugs x

Ginandgingers92 · 17/07/2019 12:50

Nausea is hitting me hard today 😞
I'm craving salty stuff (plain crispies) but the second they touched my lips I wanna vom 😞

Abi58 · 17/07/2019 12:53

@AMos16 6 weeks 3 days by 8 weeks you should definitely see something, go on google images ☺️

I havent weighed myself don't want to haha I'm grazing to try to stop the nausea

@Ginandgingers92 with you on the nausea front, I don't want anything but grazing helps stop me feeling so nauseous 🤢

AuroraMJ · 17/07/2019 13:03

@Abi58 @Ginandgingers92 Same on the nausea front. It's hit me really bad. Have no moments of relief no matter what I do.

Spoke to GP this morning who wanted to give me a sick note for a few weeks but I know my bosses wouldn't take it well... she's prescribed me some anti-sickness meds so might give those a go!

Take care, ladies! ❤️

mommato3 · 17/07/2019 13:03

@AMos16 6+3 is 6 weeks and 3 days

@helpasisterout I'm so very sorry. Take good care and take the time you need. Had one in Feb so know how you're feeling at the end of inbox if you need a chat.

@Abi58 Cool pic. Looking forward to mine but slightly anxious too!

I'm exhausted. And my boobs are so sore! Wouldn't mind but I can't sleep right at night and don't have time through the day! If only....

AMos16 · 17/07/2019 13:11

Ah, then I'm 7+2 currently.

With nausea, I'm finding that fresh ginger and lemon tea with a teaspoon of sugar really helps. My doctor also gave me some tablets that are ginger capsules that seem to help.

@Abi58
I was really obsessed with my weight before I found out (not out of a need to be skinny or anything but to maintain health and wellbeing) , its hard to adjust but im caring less and less.

No cravings at the moment, but im hungry all the time.

To all who have been through or are going through a miscarriage - I am terribly sorry for your loss. Please take care of yourselves xx

MunchyMunchkin · 17/07/2019 13:19

@Abi58 mine is tomorrow, glad to hear yours went well.

I’ve just travelled back from Aberystwyth in the passenger seat and had to stop to vomit. Am prone to car sickness anyway but think pregnancy put me over the edge.

Abi58 · 17/07/2019 13:28

@AuroraMJ aw sorry to hear you're suffering as well! I also have constant dizziness so might give my dr a call 🤢

@mommato3 🤞🏻 for you when is it? I have mush for brain atm so sorry I know you've told me 😩

@AMos16 glad you've found things that help, Ginger is great I've also got crystallised ginger

My main think is the dizziness with it that I'm struggling with expected nausea but this is ridiculous

Aw just keep thinking that your little bean wants what it wants, also with pregnancy cravings and aversions I don't think you'll have much of a say you'll just suddenly want something. 💕

@MunchyMunchkin oooo please let us now how it goes 😍
Thank you! I was convinced there was going to be more than 1 and not sure I should be concerned that my sac doesn't look like how everyone else's seems to 🙈

Aw no did you at least feel better after getting it out? I was nearly sick on the way back last night but held it in until I got back 🙈
