Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Thanks all for the reassurance! My private scan is next Monday and my nhs rescan is the Tuesday after. It’s such an agonisingly long way away! I was pretty confident on my dates, but I guess i don’t know when implantation happened! Im torn between getting my hopes up that my dates were wrong and preparing for the worst!

@Rightnow1245 thanks your reply 😊 I did get in touch with GP who put me into midwives to get a scan tomorrow as dubious how far along I actually am but think I will now be cancellling come the morning as I know the outcome as this afternoon it has escalated into fresh red dark blood with some clots and lower back dull ache so I'm afraid I'm 99.9% I'm out the game this time 👎🏼

Is anyone else getting really sad about the ladies that aren't on here anymore ?? and hearing about some of you ladies who are bleeding or have upsetting scan appointments. This really is a lottery and it's really really sad we have to all go through this hell to have a child of our own 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

@barnyb yes I am too. It's just so cruel isn't it. I have had 4 miscarriages so am petrified this time. Every time I see someone who is having bleeding on here it upsets me dearly. Although there are some cases where this is ok and the baby is fine. Big love to everyone. X

@RoRosmama ok yes I have had two and I'm feeling the same as you. Because I know that feeling I got when I went to the loo that day. agony and hell mixed into one 🦋

@barnyb yes, totally agree. I'm always very quick to tell people who think it's easy as pie to get pregnant, that it really isn't. It honestly shouldn't be so hard/ risky :(

So I had bleeding at 7 weeks and had an early scan, they found 2 sacs, one with a haemorrhage (miscarriage) and one with a healthy baby. Such a strange time, I didn't know how to process things. At 12 weeks there was no sign of the second sac.
But my other little one, was born at 38 weeks and is now my beautiful 16 month old boy :)

@helpasisterout so sorry to hear you’re bleeding! I agree with PPs that you should still go to the scan so you can be certain!

Thanks everyone I really appreciate it unfortunately my OH cannot come home early tonight as he's working and no one else even knew we were TTC so this place makes it feel a lot less lonely.

There have been big clots now but I will take your advice and go to the appointment anyway as long as they say it's ok to still go when I call in the morning as it will take me about 90mins drive😴

Now I just need to decide what to say when phoning my boss tomorrow to say I am sick and won't be working as I've never done that before and I don't want him to know that TTC was even on the cards as he is a dinosaur and will no doubt judge me unfairly (not justified but this is real life situation at my job) 😔

Yes ☺️ it was amazing! Measured 6+3 which is what I thought and there was a baby blob in the right place with a yolk sack and a heartbeat 😍 measuring 6/7mm 🥰were so in love. Which is why I saw the funny side of pissing myself ...what a day 😂

@Ginandgingers92 oh wow that's crazy how this all happens!! ! Something similar happened to my mother with her first baby. She had a m.c very early on. Didn't think much about it because she wasn't trying for a baby and was quiet young so carried on as usual. A month or two later she was feeling funny and went to the doctor who said she was 3 months along. So she must of been having twins. That was 40 years ago now so I guess they didn't scan everyone like they do now back then! Xxx
