Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Please can I join. BFP yesterday still a little in shock as have an 8 month old DS (who took 2 years to conceive) but me and DH still very happy. Due around the 20th March 2020.

Had a brown spot this morning totally TMI but wouldn't say it was thin like blood it was a lotiony CM type but still feel really worried about what it means as had nothing so far and aprox 5 weeks and 1 day!

barnyb sorry to hear about your Losses it must be so hard not knowing a thinking you were still pregnant! I Defo agree with you I would rather know sooner and get an early scan.. I feel like just going on my own for piece of mind but I know it’s not the right thing to do.
I’m not sure why he’s so anti going because we had an early scan last time 🤔
I guess I’ll just have to wait until the 30th August!!

helpasisterout I also had this with DS so try not to worry.. if seeing the doctor would make you feel better book an appointment.. I did that and it was very reassuring x

@AuroraMJ how was your scan??

So I went for my scan this morning and I’m so confused. According to my lmp I should be 6+5, but the scan was only showing 5+ weeks. Which meant they couldn’t see a heartbeat. So it could be that I’m a week out with my dates, or it could be that my little bean stopped growing. They have booked me in for a rescan in 2 weeks time, but I also have a private scan booked for next week so hopefully that shows some growth.

There was me thinking the ttc part was the most stressful bit!

@Bacchant sorry you're worrying 💕 did you confirm ovulation? You may have ovulated late and therefore it isn't as developed. The dating they usually assume period then 2 weeks later ovulation

@Bacchant I'm sorry you didn't get to see a heartbeat at this stage which is what we all hope for. I am in the same position and it's horrible. I went for scan thinking I was 6+1 and no heartbeat. The nurse said she was not concerned at that point as I could have calculated it wrong. It's such a horrible and long wait.

@Bacchant Sorry to hear you didn't see the heartbeat but I went a week ago and they could only see gestational sac at 5w+5. Couldn't see yolk sac or heartbeat but went today and saw both. Still only measured at 6w but she said it's really just an estimate this early on. A lot can change in a week at this stage. Try not to worry too much (though I know it's really difficult not to) Sending love your way ❤️

@Abi58 It went really well, thanks! They said everything is exactly where it should be! Saw the yolk sac and heartbeat which was pretty magical even if it is just a blob! She did print me off a pic even though they're not supposed to. It doesn't look like much haha.

Still super special though 🥰

@Abi58 6+5 today! They measured me at 6w but she said it's always give or take a few ways this early on.

Was so nice to get some good news! Just hope it stays this way now 🤞🏻🥰

@AuroraMJ aw thats amazing. Yeah I suppose depending on ovulation date as well as when you implanted this early on makes all the difference! I know I ovulation on cd 15 and got my bfp early sure I implanted at 6/7dpo so 🤞🏻 we'd so love to see the heartbeat
6+3 today so I know it's early and this few days make the difference so 🤞🏻
App has been moved an hour earlier which is amazing so less time to wait 😁🙈

Everything crossed for you but I'm sure it will, so amazing you got the good news and saw the heartbeat 😍

I’m not really sure what his issue is lol.. he’s a funny one sometimes 😂 I think it’s money related but he just keeps saying there is no point.. I don’t want to push it as he said last time I didn’t make the Experience enjoyable because I kept going on about it all the time... I think it’s hard for them to relate as it’s not their body 🤔

@Abi58 Hopefully you'll be able to see it! It's crazy how much can change in such a short space of time though!

A week ago, they couldn't see a thing in the abdominal scan because of my tilted womb so had to vaginal scan. This time she could see it clearly through my tummy! Crazy how much it must have grown and shifted in a week! So don't be disheartened if you don't see it, it's changing all the time. 🤞🏻 you will though!!

Yeah I think you're right my husbands been really good bless him but I do feel like I need to tell him how I'm feeling as obv I look fine and people are pregnant all of the time but I am really struggling. CONSTANT nausea and dizziness it's driving me mad 😭🙈

Just booked my early scan in for 31st, where I think I'll be 7+4. Counting down the days already! 🤗🤗🤗🤗

@Ginandgingers92 is yours constant as well? It's like I've drunk too much and the room is spinning and I feel sick but it's all day 🙈

So I've just booked my scan and will be around 7+1, maybe 2. Bit worried I've booked for too early though as according to the clinic, at 8 weeks the risk of mc decreases substantially. I tried to book for 8 weeks but they're closed for the week, so it was 7 or Waiting until 9 weeks, which felt too long away! Now contemplating whether to re arrange. Tried asking about the change in MC risk between 7 and 8 but the woman just told me see couldn't say and that she doesn't have a crystal ball 🥺

Thoughts? Xxx

I've got mine booked this eve at 6+3 as wanted reassurance before telling parents this weekend. The later the better but it's balancing between that and waiting too long.

The further you are with things looking good the better the chances of a healthy baby at the end however the risk isn't completely gone at any stage so the best way to look at it is when do you want to wait until, do you have a preference what you want to see? (Google x weeks pregnant scan in images and you'll see what you're likely to see) 🤞🏻 for you

I had one at 7 weeks last time when I lost a twin, and it was quite cute actually, a little bean with teeny leg and arm stumps! 😍
