Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

@AwkwardPaws27 I'm so sorry if my post upset you, I've just reread and it did come across as a bit of an interrogation. I have everything crossed for you, I've read lots of posts of ladies who have had early scan results like yours and it's turned out absolutely fine, they just got their ovulation dates wrong (and couldn't work out how). I hope it all works out for you xxx

mangobutter · 13/07/2019 11:13

Be kind to yourselves ladies, this is the stressful part!

I'm 7 weeks today (ish). No symptoms either @Kimberlily except sore boobs and have gone off food a bit. Nausea had started by this point last time but I'm grateful not to have it yet. I think I'm less sensitive this time round to every change and am too distracted with a 3yo and working full time plus dealing with DH's problems! Long may the sickness hold off Wink

AwkwardPaws27 · 13/07/2019 11:21

satsumasaturday it's fine, I'm just dragging myself through the coals trying to work it out myself Confused I do hope I've got it wrong. The bleeding they found is concerning me, although I haven't actually had any when wiping yet.

Frillyfarmer · 13/07/2019 11:23

@AwkwardPaws27 be kind to yourself and hoping it is just a date mix up for you.

Nausea has continued to get worse this week, I'm being positive and trying to take comfort in that at the moment. With my DS I didn't have any symptoms other than sore boobs, I suppose every pregnancy is different.

caffeinebuzz · 13/07/2019 13:32

Awkward Sorry it wasn't better news at the scan, have got fingers crossed for you that it's just a date mix up. They change so drastically day to day at this stage.

Hello, how is everyone keeping? I'm 7 weeks today, and worried. Nausea started last week and I've been feeling like I'm starving but no food appeals to meat all. Eating very plain food and fizzy water. Boobs killing me and going to the toilet a lot. But today I woke up and I have no nausea, boobs feel slightly less sore and not as swollen and I didn't wake up for a wee last night. I've had three recurrent miscarriages and all my hope and optimism has left me now. Just feels as though my HCG levels must be dropping, why else would sickness stop after a week? 😞

Frillyfarmer · 13/07/2019 16:14

Hi @Loti92 I think I remember you from another thread as we miscarried around the same time? Congratulations and I hope these are our sticky beans!

I've just got my letter through confirming scan at 8 weeks which gives me something to work towards. They're also requesting doing a GTT the same week but I think I'm going to try push it back as it seems ridiculously early and there is absolutely no way I could not eat or drink for 12 hours!!

satsumasaturday · 13/07/2019 18:28

So I had a call from the midwife this afternoon, I think I bamboozled her with my dates and my miscarriage. She asked me to phone in a couple of weeks when I was six weeks, I pointed out that I am almost six weeks now and she said I was probably four weeks because my digital test said 3+ on Monday (me: eeerr wouldn't that make me five weeks at that point, and aren't they really inaccurate anyway?). She went to ask someone else and then came back again and said she thought I was four weeks.

Anyway, she said she'd send me for a scan to get it dated as she didn't want to book me in before 8 weeks and so I should get scanned first so that I saw her at the right point.

I thought the nhs dated you from your lmp, or do some trusts do from conception? I kept saying that as digital tests go from conception then wasn't I more than four weeks but she didn't seem to know what I meant. My mc began on 27th May, and I think I ovulated about 20th June - so I'm more than four weeks right?! I'm not going mad?

I mean the positive I guess is that I'm having an early scan even if it has left me very confused! I think she was also a bit worried I might still be pregnant from the previous pregnancy (I did tests in between which were definitely negative), so maybe she's worried I'm actually 11 weeks?

Frillyfarmer · 13/07/2019 19:21

@satsumasaturday I'm in a similar position - I haven't bled since my last MC on 2nd May, so my midwife dated this pregnancy from then and has me down as just over 10weeks at this point. I know I didn't ovulate until 12th June and I've put myself at 6+4 but she couldn't accept my cycle tracking as a means of dating this pregnancy as "it isn't an accurate measure" 🙄

Anyway, they're scanning me at what I think is 8 weeks to date me so I guess that is a positive as it's an extra scan and something to keep my anxiety under control hopefully! Early pregnancy after loss is so hard! I'm thankful for the symptoms I do have but I'm constantly knicker watching and paranoid I'm heading for MC#3

barnyb · 13/07/2019 21:50

Hey guys ! I'm due March 8th and iv got such bad sickness ! Just feel sick not actually being sick! Anyone else feel this way? Xxx

Kimberlily · 13/07/2019 22:04

FYI girlies..... don't try alcohol free wine!!!! 🤯

Frillyfarmer · 13/07/2019 22:26

@barnyb I'm the same - I've found that not letting myself get hungry makes it slightly better.

AlaskaWaves · 13/07/2019 22:33

Those of you who are struggling with sickness, I'd recommend salt and vinegar crisps or those plain Pom bear crisps. I literally had a bag on the go constantly in my previous pregnancy!

mommato3 · 14/07/2019 08:57

Hi everyone. How are you all doing?

Welcome to all the new bfp's. I've had a read through but can't remember everyone's posts!

Hope everyone's nausea passes without getting too bad.

I've been quite lucky so far. 5+2 now and only sore boobs and bloating with the occasional nausea!

I've booked an early scan for 7+5 for reassurance and got my booking appointment on 12th August at 9+2.

I've since done 2 more digitals for hope of progression. Got 2-3 on Tuesday and 3+ this morning 😁😁

@AlaskaWaves hello! The problem is. I can't even look at crisps they make me want to throw up! I can only stomach weatabix, porridge and fruit. And chocolate!!! Iv been trying different dinners (unhealthy dinners) but after iv eaten them. I can't even eat that again! I hope this passes soon! I'm normally a really healthy eater!

barnyb · 14/07/2019 10:00

Can someone please put me on the list.
Barnyb - 28/ East Sussex. 1st

GingerRogers84 · 14/07/2019 11:02

@mommato3 I'm also 5 + 2! Boobs are killing me! I'm wavering between ravenous and sick but energy levels have picked up a bit! 😊

Bacchant · 14/07/2019 11:02

Hi all! I got my bfp two weeks ago and I’m currently 6+3 today. This is my first pregnancy and would be my first DC!

I’ve not been sick so far, but I have been nauseous. I’ve had a lot of bloating and gas Blush, also my boobs are tender and seem to already be going up in size!

I have an early scan booked in on the 22nd which seems so far away! I’ve had a bit of spotting this morning, it’s light pink and only when I wipe. I’m trying really hard not to panic as Dr Google seems to indicate that it’s probably fine, it’s just so hard to not think something has gone wrong!
