Tentatively starting this as got a surprise bfp today, due date will be 29 Feb-2 March I think. Currently in shock and not even sure if we can go ahead but I hope we can as the news has made me happy, if scared!

Anyone else?

I'm 6 weeks today accordingly to LMP but I think I ovulated early so might be closer to 7 weeks.

Abi58 · 11/07/2019 14:19

@AwkwardPaws27 aw so exciting! Would you mind sharing a pic? I've got mine Wednesday ☺️ when I'll be about 6+4

AwkwardPaws27 · 11/07/2019 14:46

Yeah will do, although I don't think there's much to see on an early scan pic, Google suggests it looks like a blob!

satsumasaturday · 11/07/2019 16:04

Ahh ladies need some hand holding, sorry for tmi but I just wiped and my discharge has gone brown 😰 I know it could be nothing but this was how it started last month, a couple of days of brown before the red began and it was all over 😭😭

AuroraMJ · 11/07/2019 16:07

@satsumasaturday Try not to panic too much. I had the same for a few days but it seems to have stopped now. I was worried it was ectopic but had a scan on Tuesday and it all appears fine. They told me that so much is moving around in there that old blood can sometimes be shifted.

If it carries on or gets heavier though, I would definitely speak to your GP or EPU for peace of mind ❤️

Kimberlily · 11/07/2019 16:10

@AuroraMJ That's reassuring to hear you also had this. I've become Mrs Google and diagnosed myself with all sorts! Does anyone ever relax and completely enjoy pregnancy?!!! I think I will feel a lot better when I see a heart beat.

Regarding symptoms I have sore boobs and period like cramps, feeling a lot hungrier than normal too. Just hoping a don't get a food bump before I get a baby bump! X

Abi58 · 11/07/2019 16:15

@AwkwardPaws27 I can't wait to see your blob 😁 I'll share mine on weds 😁

@satsumasaturday sending you hugs 💕 I'm completely with you I'm still checking everytime I wipe but try not to worry. Can you get yourself seen by a dr or the epu I'm sure everything is fine but it will put your mind at rest 💕

@Kimberlily I already have a food bump 🙈

Kimberlily · 11/07/2019 16:15

Thank you @Abi58. It's sound horrible to say I am pleased someone else if suffering with cramps but this is the thing that's worrying me most. R yours like period cramps? My first pregnancy I also had sharp twinges but feels different this time.

Exciting you have your scan on Wednesday. I don't know if I can wait another 10 days! X

Kimberlily · 11/07/2019 16:17

@Abi58 Grin I actually do too! After what I ate last night I'll be looking 9 months before 1st trimester is out! X

Kimberlily · 11/07/2019 16:19

@satsumasaturday Sending you positivity.... it's such a nerve wracking time. X

Abi58 · 11/07/2019 16:19

@Kimberlily 😂 I know what you mean. I never really had period cramps so for me it's worse than period cramps (not that that helps!) I'm getting cramp pains down there as well 🙈

Along with feeling really sick and dizzy 🙈

With flab and bloating I could prob pass for 6 months!

Kimberlily · 11/07/2019 16:23

@Abi58 I hope they start to ease off for you soon. Thanks for making my symptoms feel normal!

I'm totally feeling bloated too! Sugar is my vice! X

satsumasaturday · 11/07/2019 16:32

Thanks @Kimberlily

@AuroraMJ thank you that's reassuring to know that you had some too and it went away

@Abi58 I could probably try to phone the hospital but they only wanted to see me last time when the cramps began. So I think I'll just sit tight worry lots and check the loo roll constantly and hope that it goes away

Pikachu1 · 11/07/2019 16:46

@satsumasaturday

Try not to worry too much, discharge can be perfectly normal. See if you can get an early scan to put your mind at rest. Sending hugs and positive thoughts your way.

Thinking of you @satsumasaturday and I hope it's nothing Flowers

My anxiety is through the roof today, I took a day off to spend with ds yesterday as I only see him at weekends when I'm doing errands. All fine but then at a park he smashed his mouth really hard on a roundabout. No teeth damaged as far as I could tell but I still feel sick thinking about it and it's just triggered massive anxiety about literally everything in my life. Definitely not reacting 'normally' to things right now! Work is stressful which isn't helping.

Otherwise, still no nausea thankfully but have totally lost interest in food (very unlike me, but same as last pg) and get fuller quicker. Plus see above for anxiety!! And while I wouldn't say I'm exhausted exactly I'm noticeably more tired than usual, definitely ready to drop by evening.

mangobutter · 11/07/2019 17:48

Not great at keeping up with the thread, sorry! Welcome to new joiners Smile

mangobutter · 11/07/2019 17:50

This is blurry as I took it with my phone but here's my scan from earlier in the week when I'd have been 6+2 or so. She said she could see the fetal pole and pointed out the amniotic sac. Actual embryo is too small at this stage I believe given its about the size of a grain of rice!

AwkwardPaws27 · 11/07/2019 17:58

@mangobutter I hope your DS is ok. My best friend's DD had her first "big" accident a few weeks ago, getting a black eye from slipping and hitting her face on play equipment, felt so bad for her. They went to the same play area the next day and she conquered it, which really helped (and I think helped her mum too) x

Abi58 · 11/07/2019 18:00

@Kimberlily thank you, you're too ☺️

@satsumasaturday as you have previous history they might be more inclined to see you? It can be completely normal but at least if you speak to them and possibly get seen it will put your mind at rest and stop you worrying 💕

@mangobutter ouch bless him. Sending you hugs!
Aw yay congratulations! Lovely scan 😁 so excited for mine next week even if I only see a blob ☺️

blondie87 · 11/07/2019 18:46

Hope everything’s ok @satsumasaturday.

mrslaurenbrown · 11/07/2019 18:57

@satsumasaturday you are not alone. A couple of days ago I had the tiniest amount of brown when I wiped. Then nothing. Today since waking I have had watery brown discharge every time I've wiped. I put a pad on to gauge how much and only a smudge actually went onto the pad. I've booked a private scan for Saturday as I can't bare it anymore. I am sitting tight until then as DH is begging me not to stress.

@AuroraMJ thank you for sharing it is always reassuring to hear stories like this what will be will be.

@Kimberlily I am exactly the same. Heavy boobs and lots of cramping (exactly the same as period) last week although it seems to have settled this week. I have back ache today. I am 6+4. Are you feeling sick yet because I'm not? I can't relax until I see the heart beat either.

@mangobutter Hope your anxiety eases soon it's a very stressful time. I am the same as you no sickness but not very interested in food and getting full much quicker. Have noticed I've lost weight. Hope your son is feeling better soon.

EMcG3 · 11/07/2019 19:33

Is anyone else's appetite changing? I usually mainly want to eat fresh fruit and vegetables and now all I want to eat is fish and rice. It seems like a strange change. I'm ~5 weeks.

Abi58 · 11/07/2019 19:49

@EMcG3 I think I'm having my first craving...cinnamon things!
😂

threegreensheep · 11/07/2019 19:53

Hope everyone is well (as well as can be). What are everyone's thoughts on exercise at this esrly stage? I'm carrying on as normal at the moment as feel fine, would like to continue (modified) in pregnancy but I know that as soon as I was really sick last time it went straight out the window. Maybe just running after a toddler will be enough this time! 😂
