I've cracked and booked an early scan for tomorrow evening. I'm hoping it will make this seem more real and calm my nerves as I keep worrying that it will go wrong.

Booking appointment done! All routine but it's a nice small midwifery team this time so I'll have some continuity of care, very different to last time when I must have seen more than 20 midwives in total. I get home visits this time!!

@mangobutter home visits? Lucky you, you must be in a quiet area of the country, we only do home visits if people keep forgetting to turn up!

So my DH unfortunately had to work but did buy me flowers and chocs. We all went out for tea yesterday as it was our wedding anniversary x

@threegreensheep I'm in inner city London!!! Not my experience the first time around, but apparently they're trying to change things to have better continuity of care, and this team seem quite old school (they still use pagers) so maybe the home visits is related...

@Abi58 nope I just hit the deck when it hits, last time was my booking in appt for my DD, I thought i was talking normally but just jerked over 🥴 not passed out yet this time though! Just take pulse and time for a minute, not the most reliable method!
Just been catching up on all the chat and I'm not on the list, but have now forgotten who was keeping it! I'm 31, due 5th March and based near Edinburgh!

@sam2012 I've been up several times in the night with a bad stomach...again. And felt a few time and now like I'm about to be sick but I haven't and had to get my husband up in the night to go down and get me a glass of water as I felt like I was going to pass out when I stood up 🙈

@Abi58 sorry to hear you're not feeling well and had a rough night. How are you feeling this morning? (Knackered I guess, but still upset tummy?) Have you figured out how to change your picture on Ovia? When you click on your peppercorn in the bottom right there a button "choose theme" and you click in there and can switch between.
I've lost my appetite this past few days which is VERY unlike me. I always have to watch what I eat because I will constantly be thinking of food - usually as soon as I get to work I count down to when I can eat lunch, then I'm starving when I get home until dinner. I think I'm going to have to get my husband to start cooking because I've lost the will to care what we eat. I am usually happily in charge of food, I love cooking so he just plays sous chef after work and gets what he's given. I'm also hot all the time which I think is probably not helping the appetite- again, unlike me. I have a blanket at work I have on standby for when the ac gets too much - this week I've been hot in a thin t shirt. No nausea though, but very constipated 🤨
I also found bought some cb digitals on Monday . I did the first and it got 2-3 weeks Monday afternoon, but this morning I got 3+. I really will stop finding tests now...

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling great. I generally feel sick in the evenings after eating dinner and often quite tearful too. Hope it passes soon and I can relax a bit!

As for the smell... no I didn't figure it out, though I think it may have been someone's deodorant that they'd gone a bit over the top with!

My nausea is still mild and mostly in the evenings.
My stepmother visited a medium earlier this year (which I think is complete nonsense). She got told there would be two pregnancies close to her this year and one would be twin girls.
My sister is 24 weeks with a boy.
Despite knowing its nonsense I spent the evening worrying I’m having twins!
She doesn’t even know I’m pregnant!

It's so comforting to read all your messages. This will be my first pregnancy. Had 2 previous mc and a molar.
Has anyone had an early scan at 6 weeks and not seen a heartbeat? MW says it could be I am earlier in pregnancy than I think but it's worrying! Booked in again I'm 2 weeks time which feels like an eternity.
Does anyone else have period like cramping?
