Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend, it was my birthday on sunday so I had a lovely day, dh brought me breakfast in bed, we went for a lovely lunch and then to the cinema to see the simpsons (hmmmmm ok, but might as well wait to see it on tv)
MrsFish - I'm sorry but I had to LOL at your holiday mixup! It's completely the sort of thing I'd do - even when not pregnant!! I hope your cold gets better soon.
Potoroo - I did laugh about the comment at the dentists... could you be pg???
Rosie - that's a great list, thanks for that. I'm still going to leave the bag packing until I go in to labour, really helps to take your mind off things.
Toadstool - so glad you're at home and enjoying home comforts now. Thanks for the advice about hospital stays. I'm sure we should get some of our National insurance money back as between us all taking our antiseptic wipes and cleaning gel the hospitals will be cleaner when we leave them than when we arrive!!
Edie - sorry you're getting kicked in the ribs, I've been so convinced my baby's breech as I've had none of this, no movement above my belly button at all. My doc disagrees and thinks the baby's head down. Must be folded in two then. I'm quite glad tbh, rib kicking doesn't sound like fun!
emj - I hope you've recovered from the fat comment. I agree with the others, ignore ignorant tw@ts like that!!
Chatty - I hope your growth scan goes ok. Good luck with the baking for your ds birthday. I'm quite impressed, I'd be down the shops buying a cake, but I'm soooo lazy!
PLP - the oedema isn't too bad, I'm still quite puffy, going back to the doc on friday to see if my bp and urine are ok. I've started getting a bit of carpal tunnel syndrome now, not horrendous, just a bit of pins and needles in my hands. It's more irritating than anything.
Canadianmum - I hope you are recovering from your gherkin injury! It sounds like one of those things that always come up when they're talking about unusual accident statistics... number of people injured by loo roll holders in a year etc! I hope you're recovering from having your MIL round. I always develop some kind of amnesia when people come round and just sit there waiting to be waited on hand and foot, I "forget" to cook or prepare any drinks! hehehe! Hopefully they get the hint!
Lou - I hope the early labour is under control now and you don't get any more scares. I sometimes feel really evil for thinking this, but I'd love this baby to come a couple of weeks early. That's awful isn't it?? I just can't wait to get my body back! But it's a bit scary I imagine if it's more than a couple of weeks. I hope your baby stays put for a wee while longer!
I hope I haven't missed anyone! Have a lovely day everyone, enjoy the sunshine!
