Realised we need another thread as the other one reached 1000!

Glad to hear scans went well today.

Who else is waiting for their harmony results now? I am hoping to get them in the next few days! But I suspect Friday at the earliest and probably next week Monday! I had the bloods taken for it Thursday morning.

@Jowd92

Sorry also glad to hear I'm not the only one having regular scans. Mine last time was before consultant also.

Jowd92 · 15/10/2019 18:38

Funnybunnyfluff · 15/10/2019 21:15

Lol I got into bed last night and thought why did I say left arm 🙈! This was a bad idea lol.

Still aches today hopefully be better to sleep on... maybe lol

starflake · 15/10/2019 21:38

Have my 30 week appointment tomorrow so getting flu jab then, I get it every year so know what to expect.
Also have extra scans @Funnybunnyfluff next one at 32 weeks & consultant after. Mainly because I had placenta pervia but that's moved thank god but doctor told me to keep scan dates as my last DD was 10lb 10oz so they want to keep an eye on her size.

Is anyone beginning to get really anxious over labour? My friend asked me the other day & I haven't been able to think of anything since! I'm now dreading it.

Funnybunnyfluff · 16/10/2019 00:20

I'm worried too, first baby have no clue really and the NCT classes make it more real. I keep saying to myself women have had babies for years and continue to so I can get through this.

I have moments at work where u forget everything then I realise again and think my Xmas I could have a new born.

December2019 · 17/10/2019 09:27

How's everyone feeling today? I feel like I've been hit by a bus... mainly around the pelvic area, just feel so heavy and blerghhh! X

Jowd92 · 17/10/2019 10:24

Pretty much the same I feel terrible from my flu Jab still and my PGP at night is so much worse lying on my hips either side is so sore and just had a meltdown because now I cant stand to wash up properly at the sink as my bump is in the way and my arms arent long enough so I cried hormones ay! :( feeling alot of pressure down below also the last few days

starflake · 17/10/2019 12:33

Oh I'm crying at the drop of a hat the last few days. Spent most of yesterday in bed I was that tired & today have zero energy again! Oh & it's my birthday yipee.... Also have epic pressure pains down below and when I sit on toilet I reckon baby is ready to pop out 😂

TTc2019BabyNo1 · 17/10/2019 14:24

Hi All,
I’m feeling very similar. I hurt so much around pelvis/upper leg area now. Sitting at my desk all day is making it worse as it’s so painful when I get up to move.
I also just feel big and heavy and generally achey!!
So I’m feeling your pain!!

Funnybunnyfluff · 17/10/2019 15:22

@starflake

Happy birthday 🥳!

I'm feeling much better when sitting down, when I stand up I feel like a need to pee. Guess it's just pressure.

Maybe 4 weeks ago I had a very rough week or two and I cried a lot every night I cried myself to sleep not for any main reason. I'm much better now it did pass.

Keep smiling @starflake

NapsAndTea · 17/10/2019 16:15

Happy birthday happy birthday @starflake!

Yeh my pelvis is so painful 😩

starflake · 17/10/2019 21:44

Thank you @Funnybunnyfluff and @NapsAndTea! I'm planning a double celebration next year!
Standing is the worse, or walking. Was able to walk the dogs quite well until last week but now I just feel pressure & like I need to pee constantly. The upside is that she is growing so much now I feel her pretty much constant which I love. It's the best part of pregnancy for me & I miss it when they are born.
Here's to a healthy few months left for us all hopefully!!

GrannyClanger · 17/10/2019 22:23

Happy birthday @starflake!

I’m 31 weeks tomorrow, have had baby really thumping my bladder this week! Lots of movement is nice though. I might have to go for growth scan, will see in a few weeks when I have next midwife app. Yep I’m also freaking out about labour. Have just started reading the positive birth book which is helping!

jpaws · 18/10/2019 20:07

Hi everyone, hope you’re all doing okay 😊 I’m 32+2 today and only 4 weeks left at work which I cannot wait to finish. Trying not to think too much about the birth part though, classes start next week so I’m sure I’ll freak out enough then.

WorldEndingFire · 19/10/2019 21:07

Recommend anyone worrying about their labour to have a look at Ina May Gaskin's Guide to Childbirth and the Positive Birth Company - will help immensely.

December2019 · 20/10/2019 13:01

@NapsAndTea ohhh so cute!!! X

NapsAndTea · 20/10/2019 13:40

Thanks guys ☺️😍

Jowd92 · 21/10/2019 15:40

So today I had my growth scan and I've got to be re scanned in 2 weeks time instead of 3 as baby is measuring small and under the 10th centile anyone else had this ?

GrannyClanger · 21/10/2019 17:54

@Jowd92 I’ve got the opposite problem - baby measuring over 95th, and I have to go back to midwife for measuring in 2 weeks not 3. If she’s still concerned I will have to go for scan too. I’m sure all will be ok for you x

Jowd92 · 22/10/2019 07:45

These babies sure know how to scare us I've read in my notes also and something is said in there about the flow in the umbilical cord I did notice she checked this multiple times whilst doing the scan but nothing was said to me about it so now I'm worrying theres also a problem there and that's also why they want me re scanned in 2 weeks also

Funnybunnyfluff · 22/10/2019 09:16

@Jowd92

They checked mine with sound.

Don't worry they would have said something I'm sure. On Thursday I'd of had 3 scans in 6 weeks not sure why 🤷‍♀️. I know down to my thyroid but baby measuring correct. Baffles me

Jowd92 · 22/10/2019 09:25

@Funnybunnyfluff yeah she did the sound on mine a few times but I looked in my notes and it says umbilical cord lowest pi mesurement dont know if I'm worrying over nothing

Hugsandpastries · 22/10/2019 13:54

@Jowd92 yes have also had this though at the last scan the baby had caught up and had a growth spurt - you may find the same. Even if they stay small, they can still be a perfectly healthy baby. Hope the next scan goes well x
