Realised we need another thread as the other one reached 1000!

Glad to hear scans went well today.

Who else is waiting for their harmony results now? I am hoping to get them in the next few days! But I suspect Friday at the earliest and probably next week Monday! I had the bloods taken for it Thursday morning.

I k ow that feeling completely. I had my 16 week appointment today and heard the heart beat. So was pleased to know baby is still there 😁.

It's very strange x

NapsAndTea · 05/07/2019 19:29

Can I ask how much people have paid for private scans? We're thinking of getting one so need to call up and book it but would like an idea of the damage 😂🙈 feeling very round now! 🤰🏻

Funnybunnyfluff · 05/07/2019 19:42

Here they are £65 well worth it I think.
Had one at 9 weeks as reassurance after a MC and got one booked for 2 weeks time again just to check all ok and they go through all the organs before my 20 weeks scan and it's a lovely place and ladies are brilliant.

jpaws · 06/07/2019 04:06

I paid £59 for a well being & gender scan last week. Easily worth the money.

Is anyone else struggling to not sleep on their back? I’m making a conscious effort to not and it’s just making me wake up with back ache 😖

NapsAndTea · 06/07/2019 08:56

@jpaws @Funnybunnyfluff thank you - that's about what I'd hoped it'd be ☺️

Yes I'm trying hard to sleep on my side (using pillows for help) but I often wake up on my back or with a stiff neck! If I nap it's usually on my back 🤦🏻‍♀️

starflake · 06/07/2019 09:31

Scans are so cheap over there! I'm in Ireland and paying 140 for gender scan next week

Sianii · 06/07/2019 11:45

Our private scan revealed drumroll we are having a 👪

jpaws · 06/07/2019 12:25

@Napsandtea yeah I used a pillow behind my back, after my midwife suggested it, so that if it doesn't stop me from rolling on to my back at least it will cushion it - not sure how much its helping so far. I also prefer my right side to my left!

Congratulations @Sianii :D

NapsAndTea · 06/07/2019 14:28

@jpaws me too! If I'm on my side my right is preferable

Funnybunnyfluff · 06/07/2019 14:41

I read about it and always sleep on my side anyway mainly my left hand side but no one has mentioned it to me even when I saw the midwife yesterday.

Congratulations on a little boy xx

Funnybunnyfluff · 06/07/2019 18:42

Visited mothercare with my husband, wow where do you start lol!

Walked in walked round walked out. 😂!

Trying to look up push chairs and car seats it's a min field. Looking online for information before we go and hassle staff lol.

Mamabear12 · 06/07/2019 20:44

Comps83 Sometimes I don’t feel pregnant as not showing much. And as it’s summer time, parties etc people keep offering me drinks so many don’t notice I’m pregnant either!

Although by end of day I feel pregnant as I’m tired and bigger.

@Funnybunnyfluff we have made back and forth trips (when we are shopping for other things generally) and end up googling things we liked the look of. I notice even with sale you can still find a lot of things cheaper elsewhere 🤷‍♀️

Funnybunnyfluff · 06/07/2019 23:13

We wasn't going there just to the shop next door and I dragged hubby in lol.

Was very funny he said wow I'm out of my depth 😂 I said yes me too lol. Let's go hehe

peasando · 07/07/2019 08:37

@Sianii congratulations!! I have a little boy, boys are amazing 💙

I think I'm unmistakably pregnant looking now 😂 In fact I saw a colleague from another office the other day and he said 'wow, how long have you got to go?!' Er, about 5 months... 🤦‍♀️

NapsAndTea · 07/07/2019 16:02

Hahah @peasando 😂

I'm still meant to be hiding it from parents at work which is nearly impossible - some of them must definitely know and everyone else must think I'm unseasonably cold with the big scarves I keep wearing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Comps83 · 08/07/2019 18:58

Anyone felt any movement yet?

bobble53 · 08/07/2019 19:24

I’m 19 weeks this week and felt movement from last week. Not felt anything today so getting worried (although sometimes they are so soft I don’t know if I’m missinf them) but think midwife said he will get his own pattern soon?

Scan next week and I can’t wait to see him again x

RLI1105 · 08/07/2019 21:23

@Comps83 No movement at all for me although I'm only 15+5. I have been chatting to people at work and family members and the majority of them said they were between 22-24 weeks with their first so I'm not stressing too much!

I have just gotten back from the hospital - my sister in law has just had the most beautiful baby girl! Cuddling her was just the best thing. My husband and I are saying how we're so inpatient for our own! 😂

anon812 · 08/07/2019 22:09

I'm 16 weeks and feel like I can just about feel something... though it could be me imagining it!!

loie · 09/07/2019 06:43

@Comps83 I'm 15+3. Have felt like I've felt something a few times but nothing prominent. I was 14+3 with DS so a bit disappointed!

Jowd92 · 09/07/2019 07:56

Hi everyone ain't been on for a while as been away on holiday and just about catched back up with my washing and house work lol, I also feel the same I'm 15 +2 and apart from my bump I dont feel pregnant at all had a few bubbles feelings in my belly that's about it having my gender scan next week excited nervous at the same time

Comps83 · 09/07/2019 18:42

Im not sure if I’ve felt anything, nothing that can’t be passed off as wind anyway

Mamabear12 · 09/07/2019 21:22

I feel the baby move daily, usually in evenings. But it’s barely noticeable and I only notice it because I have had two kids before so know what to look for. But it’s not often and sometimes I worry like what’s going on in there? Can’t wait to feel more strong kicks etc. Also, doesn’t help that people keep being shocked when I say I’m pregnant and say they can’t see a thing. Although, I def feel bigger. Especially my breasts!

Anyone else feeling a little bored being pregnant? I guess I missing the drinking and socialising. Over the weekend we did some socialising, where everyone else drank and I didn’t. Boring! Well; it was fun still; but I missed having a nice glass of wine. Ah well. Soon enough. I also miss my usual exercise class; that I can’t do when pregnant. Also; starting to miss just eating freely!

At least I’m starting to feel better 😀
