Realised we need another thread as the other one reached 1000!

Glad to hear scans went well today.

Who else is waiting for their harmony results now? I am hoping to get them in the next few days! But I suspect Friday at the earliest and probably next week Monday! I had the bloods taken for it Thursday morning.

RL, yep - me too. I'm still loosing meals left and right and getting really tired with it. Also for some reason, sleeping very badly this last week - anyone else? Any ideas why this happens - I thought it is more common for the very end of pregnancy.

Feeling really down last few days too. Very anxious if baby is ok, all sorts of bad thoughts and dreams I struggle to chase away.

Mamabear12 · 28/06/2019 12:27

I think having bad sleep can be common early pregnancy too. This time I’m suffering w that. Frustrating as I just want to have a nice deep sleep. Today I had my midwife appt and got to hear heartbeat. They assumed it was my first baby and were surprised when I said third. I have had a few comments already about how tiny I am for a third (from friends). It makes me feel a bit nervous, as I worry about size of bump etc. Midwife said not to worry and that 12 week scan was perfect and we heard heart beat today’s 15 weeks etc. I can’t wait to feel baby daily as it puts my mind to rest. I also hope this time around baby is at least 7lbs (my last two dc were 6lbs) and I get nervous as to why; as my dh and I are not petite (slim yes; but tall as well). My dc are both fine and grew well from birth.

I’ve been really sick again this week, but feeling alright again now - it seems to be all or nothing for me. I haven’t got my next MW app until 17 weeks, I don’t think it matters too much if it’s a week earlier or later than it’s meant to be. Have you all seen the same midwife all the way through? I’m already on my third! I have started showing a bit more over the past 2 days, but still looking fat rather than pregnant I think!

Mamabear12 · 28/06/2019 13:24

No a different one each time. From my experience that’s normal. Towards the end you might see the same one the last few times. I’m not showing much. But my middle is definitely bigger.

So today we were talking to my mom on the phone and my son said he wanted to tell her something, a secret. So I said okay, and he whispered into the phone “tell mama her baby is okay!” I was so surprised he said this. I’m wondering if he has some special Abilities now, as he also told me w certainty that I was pregnant around 5 weeks out of the blue. Then later he told me he was hoping for a boy, but knew I was having a girl. And lately I was a bit worried that my bump doesn’t seem big (midwives today told me all is fine and not to worry). But I never voiced my concerns to anyone. Just on one of my posts here. And yet something prompted him to tell my mom is to say to me the baby is okay!

@Aneley I'm not the only one! Everyone keeps telling me that I should be feeling better by now and I'm just like "I'm not." 😂. My sleeping hasn't been as good this week either. My husband really struggles in the heat and has been tossing and turning which I think is what's doing it... Very frustrating though!

loie · 29/06/2019 07:26

How's everyone feeling?

GrannyClanger · 29/06/2019 09:23

@Mamabear12 I hear so many stories like this, it’s amazing how perceptive children can be. I hope it puts your mind at rest a bit. Have you had any other experiences like this? My husband used to tell his mum there was a scary man looking in the window at them, at night, when they were upstairs - it used to really freak her out!

@loie feeling good but wondering how I will fare today in the heat in London! You?

Mamabear12 · 29/06/2019 11:15

GrannyClanger He once was talking at night and I asked who he was talking to and he said “the witch, she is right up there!” But he turned out to have a high fever so might have been delirious!

I went to zumba this morning and kids are playing the garden w a sprinkler. About to do some chores and will take my dog to the park. It’s super hot so will try to keep in the shade when possible. I easily get hot when not pregnant! But at least I’m not heavily pregnant. W my ds he was born in October so during summer I was 7 months and had to take the packed hot tube for 45 mins during heat wave. It was awful!!!!! No one could move and I could barely fit on.

@Mamabear12 ugh that sounds awful! I’ve been lucky, been able to stick to the circle line mostly and just kept topped up with plenty of drinks. I am looking forward to getting back to Devon though Grin

Mamabear12 · 29/06/2019 19:14

Welcome. Did the person doing the scan say girl? You are pretty close to 16 weeks so if they said girl I think girl.

Man oh man it’s so hot! I’m melting! I love sunny, but low 20s weather! Today is way way way too hot when pregnant!

MummyToEthan · 30/06/2019 16:58

First post but I've been reading for a while!

I'm 16 weeks and had a private scan today that told us we're having a girl! This is our second, was lovely having our (almost) three year old son with us at the scan Smile

Caz3484 · 30/06/2019 19:55

Hi ya yeh she said she thinks it's a girl but baby was tightly crossed legs we had to leave for an hour then come back and then had Togo in and out between scans just to see if baby would move seems very comfortable in that position I don't no how she managed to get that potty shot l will be having our 20 week scan in about 4 weeks so will just double check their and yes definitely agree Sat was super hot I stayed in most of the day besides scan couldn't cope haha

Mamabear12 · 01/07/2019 12:06

How is everyone feeling? I am hoping to feel back to normal soon. I’m 15 weeks and 3 days. But still feeling sick daily. Thankfully, it’s not too bad, but it’s not great either! Breasts still hurt etc.

OP posts:
anon812 · 01/07/2019 12:34

Not feeling great, still very tired and boobs are like 2 giant boulders that need to be held in place! At the same time very excited about meeting our little boy, can't feel him yet as only 14 weeks 4 days but am told I might do soon!
Hope you are all feeling ok in the heat, not good for pregnant people!

Mamabear12 · 01/07/2019 14:37

Thank goodness it has cooled down! Sat was unbearable. I’m not well. I have loose poo and been to the toilet several times in the last few hours. I assume a bug or something I ate. Thank goodness my aunpair is here to take dog out and pick up the kids. I always join her (we have her as an extra pair of hands and for language purposes). So I always do the school runs. However, nice to have her to do it when I’m not well. I’ve just been lying in bed waiting it out and drinking water. Hope little bubba is okay.

I’m getting loads of heart palpitations
It’s usually my body’s way of telling me I’ve been eating too much shit. So I’d better start eating better

Funnybunnyfluff · 02/07/2019 14:22

@Comps83

Iv been getting them also last couple of days when I lay down

Funnybunnyfluff · 04/07/2019 08:02

Has anyone had their 16 week midwife appointment?

This is my first so I just wanted to know what they do?

Thank you 😊

xoxhayleyxox · 04/07/2019 10:05

@Funnybunnyfluff I had mine a few days ago!
She just checked my blood pressure and urine again and went though blood results from booking in appointment which were all fine.
I asked if we could listen to babies heartbeat and so she said we'll give it a go. We managed to find it pretty easily so was amazing to listen to! I know a lot of trusts won't do it that early though because it can be quite hard to find. Xx

December2019 · 04/07/2019 10:06

@Funnybunnyfluff I've got mine next week at some point mines a home visit though for some reason??

xoxhayleyxox · 04/07/2019 10:52

@December2019 don't worry mine was a home visit too, it's not to catch you out or anything it's just so they can visit everyone x

Funnybunnyfluff · 04/07/2019 12:06

Ok lovely, just a catch up then really. Mine tomorrow will take my pee with me. I can't pee on demand lol

Comps83 · 05/07/2019 17:03

Is it just me or does anyone else still not really ‘feel’ pregnant
I keep forgetting there’s anything different .
