Crikey. I'm mega-early, but did a Clearblue early detection test today and here I am! Hopefully some more folk will join me soon.
Second baby for me, already have DS who is 4. Feel like I've forgotten everything tho!
Eeeeeeek!

Hi guys can I have an invite to the Facebook group?

Edennn · 26/06/2019 00:34

Hiya everyone,
I'm new to this... Just found out I'm pregnant again...and I have ds who is only 5 months! I'm having mixed feelings. Totally feel as if I'm not ready for two babies 😫 I feel that I won't be able to give all my love and attention to my 5 month baby. But thinking about the pros 🤞🏻

herewegoagain2020 · 26/06/2019 07:49

Hello all, please can I join? I think I'm currently 5w4d pregnant with my 2nd baby, with an EDD of 22/02. @Edennn I'm in a similar boat to you...I found out I was pregnant the day before my DS turned 6 months so he will be 14 months when new baby arrives. I'm also scared I won't be able to divide my time fairly between the babies 😩 but I am also so excited and can't wait for them to grow up together!!

Edennn · 26/06/2019 09:09

@herewegoagain2020 my son will be 6 months on the 30th of this month and my EDD is also the same as yours ! And yess, same that's the only reason I'm staying sane because hopefully they will have a close bond with one another 😊

tisonlymeagain · 26/06/2019 10:15

I have a 16 month age gap @Edennn @herewegoagain2020 and honestly it was perfect, wouldn't change a thing. They were the best of friends, as thick as thieves! Still close now as teenagers (as much as teenagers can be Hmm)

tisonlymeagain · 26/06/2019 10:17

As a reminder to anyone who wants to join the "secret" FB group - can you private message me either the email address attached to your Facebook account and/or your real name and a description of your profile pic so I can locate you. I will need to add you as a friend to add you to the group!

Givealittlebit · 26/06/2019 10:20

@tisonlymeagain I can't work out how to pm on the app, can you message me so I can be added? Thanks!

EllaWallace · 26/06/2019 12:03

Did a few cheapy tests last week and got faint lines (gulp!!) so went and got a clearblue one with the week indicator thingy - somehow when its actual words saying "pregnant" is seems a lot more real than a blue line!! First time so very excited, very scared too!! Not really sure what to do next - do I see my GP or go straight to a midwife....?

EllaWallace · 26/06/2019 12:04

Meant to say, on the estimated due date it's 20-2-20 :-) Eeek!!

Kirsty157 · 27/06/2019 06:15

Morning ladies Smile
Can I join? I'm due 1st Feb. This will be number 4 for me. Looking forward to the next seven months

TryingVeryHard2015 · 01/07/2019 09:07

So, I'm finally going to take the plunge and join you lovely ladies. I had a chemical last month so although I've known for two weeks, I didn't want to jinx things.

Took my last digital this morning and things are progressing so hoping that this doesn't jinx things (as that is clearly how the universe works 🙄😂).

Second baby for me. My DS is going to be 4 this week. I'm due the 26/2 I think.

Shorn123 · 01/07/2019 15:46

Hello! Congratulations everyone!

I'd love to join you ladies? This is my first pregnancy and I'm 8 weeks today - my sister suggested joining this group but it's all very very new to me.

Exhausted and been a little sick, but nothing unusual from what I can tell!

We had a little scare early on as they worried it was ectopic back but all is good, but it means I have another early scan on Thursday so hoping I can hear a heartbeat then as I'll be 8+3.

TryingVeryHard2015 · 02/07/2019 08:06

The aversions and nausea are kicking in royally now. 🤢 I'd half forgotten about this bit.

Being in the office is going to be so much fun.

AiryFairy1991 · 02/07/2019 11:48

Hi everyone! Found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago but didn’t want to join too early as I’d been having some spotting. A super early scan this morning confirmed the baby was there with a heartbeat! So feeling much more optimistic. Currently lying on the couch watching Wimbledon debating what I can stomach to eat.

This will be my second, my DS will be 2 in August. Has anyone noticed their young children have became more clingy since being pregnant? Not sure if he’s detected some change in me or if he’s just going through a phase

Sf16323 · 02/07/2019 12:09

Hello! Please can I join you all? I'm due 5/2/2020. My daughter is 2- haven't told her yet! Feeling horribly nauseous at the mo. Oh isn't pregnancy glamorous!

Givealittlebit · 02/07/2019 15:38

Hi! Welcome to all the new people, and congratulations!
So exciting to have lots more people having such good news ☺️

fluffybottom · 02/07/2019 18:29

Hello and welcome to all the new people.

@AiryFairy1991 that's great you heard a heartbeat. How far along are you? So looking forward to my early scan this week.

AiryFairy1991 · 02/07/2019 20:58

Hi @fluffybottom, I’m 6+4-ish according to my calculator (they said 6 weeks and a few days at the scan). They also said if I’d went a day or two earlier they’d have probably seen nothing so glad I waited to phone!

Givealittlebit · 02/07/2019 21:47

So my sickness is finally easing off a little after a good couple of weeks from hell!
It's a relief being able to at least eat semi normally again.

Off to center parcs with all our family this weekend, not sure how I'll hide it in a swimming costume!
Just over 2 weeks until my scan, can't wait! Very jealous of those having early scans

TryingVeryHard2015 · 03/07/2019 08:13

@Airyfairy1991 - My little boy has been clingy and he's 4. I swear he can sense his little world is balancing on a knife's edge. 😂

My sickness is epic today. Can't wait for it to ease. Dear lord I'd forgotten this bit. I'm still a bit apprehensive but there's nothing I can do either way.

fluffybottom · 05/07/2019 17:34

Went to my pre booking in group session today. Total waste of time- an hour sat in a boiling hot room while the midwife basically told us the contents of the leaflets we'd been sent before the meeting. Booking in appt made for 3 weeks time though so that's good.

zme94 · 05/07/2019 18:53

Hey all,

This is my first pregnancy, found out last week and the NHS calculator works me out to be due 26/02/2020

Congratulations to you all! I'm sooooo excited for my scan, and have been doing lots of tests to make sure it's real haha!

@tisonlymeagain how do we private message via the app? Xx

ECPCR2 · 06/07/2019 18:06

Hi all, and welcome @zme94

Anyone else finding the heat at the moment is making nausea even worse? I've been barely able to get out of bed today and kept nothing down but plain rice cakes :( I'm worried I'm not passing on enough vitamins and nutrients...

When I had a scan at 6 weeks I didn't think there was any way I'd be able to last until 12 not knowing everything was progressing. But I guess the only upside to feeling on the verge of up-chucking constantly is that I'm not able to forget something crazy is going on inside me!

ElleyBear13 · 07/07/2019 11:38

Hey can I join this group and the fb group too? I have no idea when I'm due I'm pretty sure I'm further along than first estimates which puts me at the end of Feb - possibly mid! Sickness has really rapt up this week. Anyways looking forward to chatting to you all x

Gierg · 07/07/2019 12:02

Hello!

Can I join in here? :)

I have an EDD of 26th Jan (and a scan next week to date it properly too) but I was a week late last time so reckon it will be a Feb baby!

Morning sickness and tiredness has properly kicked my ass this time round... I have spent any time not working sleeping! Although I feel like I'm on the way out of the nausea tunnel, and feeling a bit more normal...
