Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

Is a anybody getting any symptoms other than sickness etc? 4+5 and I'm getting some cramps. Almost feel like period pains. I know this can be totally normal though. Pretty sure I had it with DD pregnancy.

mynameisMrG · 15/05/2019 13:29

@catrash I am with you on the citrus. Loving the oranges at the moment!

@Pinacollider I had cramps last week but have eased off the past couple of days, am 5+2 now.

@Gorilla now you've mentioned spice I could smash a curry. I'm obsessed with cheese at the minute. Constantly nibbling on cheese cubes... I'm eyeing the Saint Agur lovingly, it's killing me not being able to touch it Sad

CatRash · 15/05/2019 13:53

@Gorillaandme - oooh that just screams "I'm pregnant" but like munching your way through a jar of gerkins.

@Mynameismrg - maybe citrus is high in something our bodies need? Not sure what but I imagine there's probably something about it!

@Bentley111 haha that's me all over pregnant or not!! I'm going to be sad about missing out on brie etc. at Christmas.

Chantalle3 · 15/05/2019 13:57

@catrash I have a penchant for supermarket cocktail sausages from the chilled aisle at the moment. I don't think they have anything in them that my body would "need" but I definitely NEED them 🤤

Ceejay19 · 15/05/2019 14:20

I'm craving melon. Can't get enough of it!
My nausea weirdly only stops with chocolate - this happened last time too so I know it works so am embracing it. I tried resisting the chocolate for a couple of days, but it's not worth it.

KMic · 15/05/2019 14:30

No nausea for me yet ... no cravings either .. just FOOD in general! Anything and everything! I CANT STOP. I'm only 5+4 .. I hope this stops soon or I will be the size of a whale before long! Haha.

Cannyhandleit · 15/05/2019 14:58

I'm really hoping I get a food craving this time! In both my other pregnancies I became obsessed with certain smells, like properly obsessed! Dp used to have to hunt me down in the super market because I'd disappear to go sniff the detol and my fav fabric softener!

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 15/05/2019 16:24

I am loving my food right now too Grin feel like such a fat bastard. Just booked a scan for 8th June when I’ll be around 8 weeks, excited to hopefully see our little babe.

My friend just announced her pregnancy (9 weeks ahead of me) and I feel like my bump will be bigger than hers soon, it is her first baby though! I’m pretty slim but my trousers already feel tight.

mynameisMrG · 15/05/2019 16:31

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who can’t stop eating! Slimming class tomorrow will be interesting

@Bentley111 aww don't I so miss cheese. I'm dairy free as I'm breastfeeding my 14 month old daughter who has a dairy allergy. The thought of cheese makes me want to cry I haven't tasted it for a year now and it's the only dairy product I miss. Fingers crossed this baby has no allergies 🤞

DaisyMay25 · 15/05/2019 18:45

@Gorillaandme you are a saint! I have a lactose intolerance but it doesn't stop me eating cheese. Brie is my favourite though so that's going to be hard!

SleepingStandingUp · 15/05/2019 18:51

Yes to citrus. Constant supply of orange / orange and mango juice in my fridge. No other real cravings. I'm hoping for something random this timr

motherofadragon · 15/05/2019 19:43

Well I was wrong yesterday, sickness has well and truly come over me. I’m only 4 weeks so it’s very early, which is a good sign, but I hope this doesn’t go on for weeks on end.

KMic · 15/05/2019 20:31

@motherofadragon ... early sickness could mean twins .......... double trouble!!

motherofadragon · 15/05/2019 20:39

@KMic I hope not😂, our house is barely big enough for just the 3 of us, 5 would be a nightmare

Lyssa91 · 15/05/2019 20:49

@DaisyMay25 my doctor suggested b6 and unisom together. It's equivalent to the drug Diclegis. Unfortunately I the combination does nothing for me, I swear I have enough hormones in me to be making 4 babies ahhhh! Haha. I'm only 5+5 and this all day nausea is kicking my butt.

KMic · 15/05/2019 20:52

@motherofadragon 🤣🤣🤣

motherofadragon · 15/05/2019 20:55

You’re put the willies up me now @KMic

plipliop · 15/05/2019 21:02

@motherofadragon that's how you got in this mess in the first place!

motherofadragon · 15/05/2019 21:04

I’m proper cackling away here, DH thinks I’ve gone mad plipliop🤣🤣

MrsH497 · 15/05/2019 21:18

Hi ladies. Bleeding 🤞🏻has stopped. Been feeling off in the morning not sick as such. Had upset stomach more ice lollies are my saviour!
Dr appointment about the spotting on 22nd keeping everything crossed x

DaisyMay25 · 15/05/2019 21:29

I stupidly ate a chicken and bacon Caesar wrap from work (so tasty) and just read it's got unpasteurised milk in it, how bad is that?

DaisyMay25 · 15/05/2019 21:30

I feel like an idiot 😞

MrsH497 · 15/05/2019 21:38

@DaisyMay25 I wouldn't think that was bad 1 time and the small amount. Oddly all I want is Cesar salad!
