Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

I might just check with my doctor anyway when I next go in, oddly my nausea has been bad since but probably just a coincidence! @MrsH497 glad your bleeding has stopped, I may have to try and ice lolly!

mynameisMrG · 15/05/2019 22:15

That’s great news @MrsH!

Are anyone's nipples sore?!

Never got this with my first my boobs never hurt 🙈 whenever I graze them etc they are so sore 😩

Still nauseous all of the time! Sometimes I just wish I could be sick and hopefully that would ease it a bit 🙈 I'm 5w 5d today

mynameisMrG · 15/05/2019 22:24

Yes @Victoriaaaaaaaa!! Though mainly the left one...

Exhausted at the moment and boobs are really veiny! Keeping everything crossed for the dr appointment

SleepingStandingUp · 15/05/2019 23:47

Yup sore boobs here too, need to dig out my old maternity bras to sleep in. Nausea seems to be alternate days!! I'm shattered by the 3 yo doesn't always sleep through and wakes us at 6 so I never get a lot of sleep aby way

McHelenz · 16/05/2019 08:13

My symptoms are fading off, bar being so tired and constant peeing!!

Bentley111 · 16/05/2019 08:27

@Gorillaandme no cheese for a year?! I couldn't even imagine 🙈

Decided to make a saint agur sauce for some steaks last night as a safe way to have blue cheese but as soon as I tasted it, I felt sick and all I managed to eat was a few green beans 🤢

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I completely agree with you. I'd much prefer to just be sick instead of this constant nausea.

Not sure how some of you are commenting on here so late, I'm passed out by 8.30 every night at the min Blush

@Victoriaaaaaaaa i think i regognize your username from previous ante natal club ! How old is your dc ?

Andromeida59 · 16/05/2019 09:02

Hi everyone. Have my booking in appointment today. Had a dreadful night. Stomach felt really tight and spent a lot of time on the loo. The left of my abdomen is painful and also pain in my mid/lower back. Is this something to worry about? I've also been really cold and dizzy.

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 16/05/2019 09:07

@anxiousmotherof1 she's 16 months!! I'm actually due the day after her second birthday 🙈

Gillster · 16/05/2019 09:13

DaisyMae - I think the Caesar salad would be absolutely fine. I’m guessing the unpasteurised milk bit relates to the Parmesan in it. See below for NHS advice:

“All hard cheeses are safe in pregnancy
You can eat hard cheeses, such as cheddar, parmesan and stilton, even if they're made with unpasteurised milk. Hard cheeses don't contain as much water as soft cheeses, so bacteria are less likely to grow in them. It's possible for hard cheese to contain listeria, but the risk is considered to be low.”

Cindy61 · 16/05/2019 09:31

Hi, I'm 31, first pregnancy. EDD 11 Jan. Had a scan today at week 5 day 6, didn't see heartbeat (probably too early) but ruled out ectopic. Holiday next week with DH. Hope it all goes well and let time pass faster!
Symptoms: bit queasy when hungry. Tiredness is overwhelming (nearly fell asleep during an episode of The Line of Duty) Grin

splishandsplash · 16/05/2019 09:39

Hey, I need talking down. I have posted on the other thread First time pregnancy 7weeks pregnant, had sex last night for the first time since finding out, I'm now bleeding dark brown blood. Should I be worried?
Has anyone else had this?

DaisyMay25 · 16/05/2019 09:41

@splishandsplash bleeding after sex is very common, it's because it irritates your cervix with everything else that going on. Brown blood or spotting is fine. If it does get heavier just call your EPU

splishandsplash · 16/05/2019 09:55

Thank you for coming back to me so quickly daisymay! It really panicked me this morning 🙈

DaisyMay25 · 16/05/2019 10:05

@splishandsplash I can imagine! Just maybe resist tonight haha. Hopefully it'll clear up today

SleepingStandingUp · 16/05/2019 10:16

Not sure how some of you are commenting on here so late, I'm passed out by 8.30 every night at the min tell my 3 yo I need to sleep lol

Just had a decaf coffee and regretting my life choices.

I've realised my cravings amount to bread and sultanas - so fruit toast, tea cakes etc.

DaisyMay25 · 16/05/2019 10:27

I work til about 10:30pm, sometimes 11:30pm, it's very hard to stay awake. I have to try and nap before I go to work

Gorillaandme · 16/05/2019 11:02

@Bentley111 the worst thing is my husband eating the things I can't in front of me. In my last pregnancy I had gestational diabetes so wasn't allowed sugar and my husband sat and ate a whole packet of dolly mix in front of me well I was at a GD check at the hospital 🙄

Bentley111 · 16/05/2019 11:30

@SleepingStandingUp oh no Blush not sure how those with toddlers/older DCs are doing this.

@Gorillaandme think I would have divorced DH if he'd have done that! Hopefully you don't get GD this time around too x

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 16/05/2019 11:50

I am so poorly today!

I've not felt this poorly since being pregnant with DD! Headaches, dizziness, constant nausea and sick in back of throat when burping 😭

The way I'm feeling I can't wait for today to be over 😩

Chantalle3 · 16/05/2019 12:13

I've felt dizzy all morning too. My nausea has now turned in to actual vomiting so spent the first 10 mins of my work day with my head in the toilet bowl. Avoiding speaking in meetings so I can keep my mouth clamped shut because I feel like any minute it will happen again.
"Pregnancy is the happiest reason for feeling like shit" 😬😬😬😬😬😬

KMic · 16/05/2019 12:22

Ooo sorry to hear some of you are feeling a bit rubbish ... i'm still not feeling too bad, but only 5+4 and last time didnt really get any major symptoms until 6-7 weeks. Fingers crossed I wont be feeling rotten on holiday in a couple of weeks!

motherofadragon · 16/05/2019 12:28

I’m still feeling crap today, just really dizzy. I was sick a lot this morning too
