Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

@mynameisMrG thank you. Still having spotting I've spoken to a dr who says with no pain and not a lot of bleeding it's not a miscarriage. Instructions are to go to EPU when I land and have an early scan of this trouble maker!

motherofadragon · 14/05/2019 14:24

@Gorillaandme I feel so much further behind than the other ladies on here, some pole are 7 weeks along and that feels like a world away!.

@KMic I’m eating absolutely everything in sight as well, I just can’t get full!.

Gorillaandme · 14/05/2019 14:37

@motherofadragon I know I remember last time thinking the time until the 12 week scan really dragged. Considering having a private early scan as I just can't wait.

mitzi2019 · 14/05/2019 14:41

@MrsH497 really glad to hear that, my spotting has been going on nearly a week now but I went to the EPU this morning for an early scan and they confirmed the pregnancy is still there. Going back in two weeks for another scan. Fingers crossed for everyone!

MrsH497 · 14/05/2019 15:14

@mitzi2019 how bad is your spotting? Wonder if I think it's worse than it actually is. I don't bleed into a pad it's only when I pee and/of wipe. Did the EPU say anything else to you?

anxiousmotherof1 · 14/05/2019 15:16

Hi all ,
Can i join you ?

I am 30 5w+1d due on the 13 of jan with baby number 2 ds is 18 months !
I am still not letting myself get excited Until i reach at least 6 weeks but i got my 3+ on clearblue on sunday so i thought i should join !!

Anon120 · 14/05/2019 15:19

I went to the doctors last week to get registered with a midwife and the nurse referred me but said just to wait until they contact me which won't be until the 12 week scan.. is that right? Sorry not really clued up as it's my first baby x

anxiousmotherof1 · 14/05/2019 15:22

@Anon120 not really you should have what is called a booking appoitment with the midwife before your scan . Is usually between 8 tp 10 weeks

mitzi2019 · 14/05/2019 15:27

@MrsH497 mine is also only when I wipe and is mainly light brown discharge but I've had maybe three or four dark brown small stringy bits (sorry tmi). They didn't seem hugely committal one way or another but I know it's still early days and too early to see much on a scan. Luckily I knew the scan would be internal because they didn't talk me through any of it just went through the motions! But I do feel better knowing there's something going on in there for now and they've booked me to come back in two weeks when they should be able to see more. They said the bleeding could be implantation bleeding but didn't really give any more info. I am glad they saw me thought and let me self refer yesterday and saw me early this morning so...!

MrsH497 · 14/05/2019 15:36

@mitzi2019 that's good. I've got to get a referral so my poor mum is trying to sort it while I'm away! I'm the same mainly brown some red just hope little one is ok in there

motherofadragon · 14/05/2019 15:50

Gorillaandme The first twelve weeks feel like a year, then the next 25 go so fast and then the final 3 drag again. I’m considering an early scan too, just for reassurance as well as we had a lot of issues with Elijah and some bleeding. So I want to make sure this little pip stays put!.

Bentley111 · 14/05/2019 16:05

@MrsH so pleased to hear this, great news. You definitely have a little troublemaker on your hands. When are you due back?

Congrats Anxious, we are EDD buddies... there's quite a few of us in Club 13!

Dh thinks I need to go to the dr, I am having so much trouble working today, just constantly retching. I'm keeping fluids down and am not dehydrated. I am lucky enough to WFH but have to have webcam on with my team at all times and it's really high pressure. Surely there's nothing the dr can do??

anxiousmotherof1 · 14/05/2019 16:11

@Bentley111 oh poor you nausea started early ! Unless you are throwing up constantly i dont think they will give you anything for it ! Take it as a sign of a healthy pregnancy;)

Chembecky · 14/05/2019 16:12

I'm 7 weeks today. Due 2nd Jan with first baby. Going for a private scan in 2 weeks! Excited but nervous.

Bentley111 · 14/05/2019 16:18

@anxiousmotherof1 I don't think there's much they could do except sign me off, but I have no intention to tell work until at least 12 weeks 😩😩
I am hoping it's a positive sign. So anxious though

anxiousmotherof1 · 14/05/2019 16:26

@Bentley111 do twins run in tour family ?;p intense nausea at 5 weeks might as well be twins ;p

raligator · 14/05/2019 16:42

Hi all, I’m 7+1 due 1st jan!
Only sick once yesterday, but have constant motion sickness and need to lie down for it to clear, don’t know how to get through work on my feet all day!
I think going off the last thread I am one of the few not getting an early scan, so I still have a months wait for my booking in and scan!
Finding that website that someone mentioned a longtime ago helpful for my anxiety, if you google ‘miscarriage reassurance’ it should be the first link!

Baby4mum · 14/05/2019 16:54

Hello Everyone! Very new to this website- its my first pregnancy and my first ever post on an online forum! Got a BFP just last week and am 4 weeks 4 days today, due on Jan 17th as per online calculators. Waiting for a booking appointment now.

This being my first pregnancy, Thought I would relax once I get my BFP but Am totally going nuts with all the symptom spotting.

I am getting lower back pain, mild gastric like cramps, a bloated stomach that looks like a 5 month bump when I wear dresses! I am having trouble sleeping on my back for last 3-4 days and having light yellow cm (sorry, tmi). 😔😔😔 My BfPs on FRER were fine until today morning, when an internet cheapie showed a faint positive line only after 6 minutes! I used this for first time as I was out of the Clearblue and First response tests. I am so worried! Besides, though I am experiencing frequent urination, there are no signs of nausea! Does this mean I might have an issue - ectopic or CP? Those who have been pregnant before, please help!

anxiousmotherof1 · 14/05/2019 17:03

@Baby4mum try not to worry i didnt have any nausea until after 6 weeks . Hcg levels vary in urine so it all depends how dark your pee is when you took the tests .

SleepingStandingUp · 14/05/2019 17:05

@anxiousmotherof1 welcome to club 13. That Easter weekend was certainly... Fruitful!!

@Baby4mum no nausea etc this early doesn't mean anything, and the bloating etc all sound typical early pregnancy.

How many sticks have you peed on? A slow line could just be a diluted wee or dodgy stick, perhaps get one decent one tomorrow?

Baby4mum · 14/05/2019 17:06

Thanks! That sounds like music to my ears! Have been so distracted in office today. You might be right, my urine this morning was as clear as water unlike other days. Will test again tomorrow. Thanks again!

But happy to join this thread! All Jan babies!

SleepingStandingUp · 14/05/2019 17:07

Rmy June-July group for DS varied from May to August, I wonder what range we'll get here!!

motherofadragon · 14/05/2019 17:10

I haven’t had any sickness yet, but very bad nausea. Every time I eat I have to lie down for a little bit after. A lot of smells are making me feel sick. I’m boiling all the time too and have had a metallic taste in my mouth the past couple of days. I’m craving savoury and salty food, I love salt and vinegar Pringles more than my husband now

MrsPandigital · 14/05/2019 17:15

Just catching up with everything. You all move so quickly on here🙈 thanks for setting up the new thread @mynameisMrG
