LES-my 7 yo dd has the same effect! got some really cute sparkly sandles from tesco's yesterday, 6-12 months we just had to have them, got a few bits off freecycle too, and i've already got 2 prams.

Hello everyone! I'm struggling a bit today as we had a busy weekend and I'm feeling really rotten. Have decided that my attempt to manage the anaemia through diet alone isn't working so I'm off to Boots at lunch to pick up my prescription... Hopefully, I will start to feel a bit better soon and be more able to keep up with all you energetic and chatterful ladies...

TheLadyEvenstar · 31/07/2007 12:23

Mump on subject of prescriptions i eventually collected mine last night and for first time in about 2 months had a dinner and enjoyed it, have been suffering badly with indigestion daily but now have Omeprazole. I took one last night and then had a huge bowl of pasta with cheese plain but lovelyyyyyyyyy lol went to bed about midnight and got up at 1 for a toasted cheese sandwich. I have to take these tabs once a day and all i hope is that they continue to help.....

MB hope all goes wel for you and prescription helps. xxx

greedygreedyguzzler · 31/07/2007 15:12

j2o - i have posted a promotional code for you on your other thread...........what are you ordering from verbaudet? i have just ordered £100 worth of stuff for my dd's new bedroom.........they do such cute stuff dont they???

muppetgirl · 31/07/2007 15:34

Hi all.
Just got back from the picnic/let the boys run around like nutters afternoon with friends. I had to take a chair as I can;t sit on the floor atm as my back is too painful ( I know it's nothing like those with spd )felt a bit of a plank as towered above everyone but think it helped.

Am going to try one of those heat pad things that dh used for his back -they should be safe as they're not medicinal?

Ds now on sofa in front of tweenies as really tired. I'm going to continue my blanket making efforts

j20baby · 31/07/2007 15:35

thanks greedy, i've already ordered, only wanted something for 7.99, but ended up spending over £20 and using a code, so got it all for £10 something. you should have done 5 seperate orders if possible and used a different code for each, it would have worked out cheaper

well, got back from park, and there was no bloody water in the paddling pool, apparantly its been condemmed due to the flooding, so they just played on the park, am shattered now, but it seems a waste of the nice weather to have a nap, am contemplating what to do for the rest of the day!

So you planniing on using washables? I am, I think i must be mad
Lisa

ejt1764 · 31/07/2007 17:24

lisa - I'm a washables girl ... used them with ds, plan on using them this time too - although I'll be giving it a couple of weeks before I start ...

muppetgirl · 31/07/2007 18:40

Okay, had lovely day but ended just the same as yesterday.

Ds is fab at the dry night thing now -cold turkey re the nappy did work and he gets up to the loo and sorts himself out which is fab. He feels he's great, we tell him he's great.

Next problem....
Last night and tonight he left pooing till the last minute and although got most of it in the toilet got a lot of it up the toilet and all over the carpeted floor. (also over his legs and clothes too.)
He will not use harry the frog toilet seat now (as wants to be like daddy) that was fab 2 weeks ago.
I spent 20 mins last night cleaning him up, the toilet and scrubbing the carpet, which I did again tonight.....

arrrrrrgggghhhhhh

alicet · 31/07/2007 18:47

I chose my name because I keep eating packets of mini chocolate Hobnobs!

J20 - I've been taking Pregnacare since found out I was pregnant - don't know if it has given me energy, but my SIL swears it helped her, so here's to hoping.
