I wasn’t measured at my appointment- complete waste of time! I do think I look big though all of a sudden!

I am already living off Gaviscon-can’t do the liquid though, only tablets. Horrendous reflux!

@db92
Yes the early sex result as part of the NIPT is great. Not why we had it obviously, but it helps sweeten the cost (£399)!

I had a half of lager during the concert yesterday, which I really enjoyed, and a Malibu and coke afterwards, which I did not. Did get a very funny look at the bar buying the half of lager though, really looked my bump up and down.

@DustyDoorframes i won't see her until I'm 18 weeks. I thought they did not measure until 24 weeks. Thanks for clarifying I'll definitely bring it up with her when I see her.

Happy mothers day ladies! Hope you al have nice days planned!

I've had a little shock this morning, DD has woken with chickenpox. I'm sure I had it just waiting on my mum to confirm. Oddly a friend hugged me yesterday, then said her kids had it and I thought FFs that will be us in 10days then. Obviously already had it.
OH is away all week again, think my work want me to take childs sickness as holidays too, we had a nice emergency care scheme which closed last week. I'm laughing at the bizarre timing. No birthday party today too, I wonder if all the kids will have it as it's a nursery party! The poor mum :/

Oh and we have Ollie Owl. He is annoying. I liked to fasten him to the cot but his velcro is crap and he falls off

Oh no BBell & IVEgot you're going to have a fun few days! I suppose at least the pox will be out of the way now rather than with a newborn around... sorry, no positive I can think of with an ear infection- get to the docs and fingers crossed it goes soon. Earache and toothache I think they're the worst!

Stuff - we have shit loads. Genuinely I think if the only thing we bought between now and due date was a next to me crib we would be fine 😳 I like shopping - any excuse!!

Hi ladies , havnt been on for a while ( since thread three I think ) don’t get much chance .. glad everyone is getting on ok .

I had my scan a couple weeks ago , all fine , got a gender scan booked for next week as I’m too impatient.

My worry is that from about 13 weeks I started feeling baby , quiet a lot in the evening, no mistaking it ( 4th baby but been 10 years ) now for the last 5 days nothing !! Not a thing. I’m really worried 😟

roughday have you tried lying on your stomach with your hand under your stomach?

Report
Roughday · 31/03/2019 10:55

No! I will give it a try later

IVEgottheDECAF · 31/03/2019 10:57

I can often find mine like that. How many wks are you now?

Report
kyles101 · 31/03/2019 10:59

Ivegot get yourself to the drs tomorrow if they can get you in - I suppose it could be a tooth problem? Think it's all kind of interlinked ears, teeth, nose etc. Are you at least having a chill out today? X

Roughday I'm absolutely sure everything is fine, I think it's generally considered too early to feel regular movements coz they have so much room at this stage. If you're worried though (and I know I have been in the past with absolutely zero reason to be so 🙄) how about ringing the EPU and seeing if they can get you in for a scan? Or if midwife would see you to do a quick heartbeat check?

roughday I'm the same. I think babies have moved and are currently facing inwards so any kicks are directed in. I also feel wgat I assume is one more than the other, as they are side by side.

I saw the bump move at about 16 wks in the bath, but didnt feel it at same time so might be worth a belly watch in the bath

15+3, first pregnancy and the last couple of days I’ve grown a hardish bump that’s there from first thing in the morning. Is this my ‘actual’ bump?

Report
iano · 31/03/2019 20:40

@Roughday maybe baby has turned. Your GP can listen for the heartbeat if you can't get to your MW

@Fortheloveofscience sounds like your bump.

Sending you sympathy IVEgottheDECAF- I have a cold and that's bad enough. It feels like one of the Borrowers is up my nose ticking my sinuses. Hope the doctor sorts you out!

Think it’s the time of year and mild weather failing to kill off the bugs.

I’ve lost my voice :(

Plus seems everyone I get a cold etc the morning sickness is horrendous

I feel like I popped over the weekend, a definate bump today in my work clothed. But I'm sore with stabby pains, no blood I'm not massively worried, but sat here almost jumping with these new aches.

Don’t worry BBell it’s probably just your poor stomach muscles stretching.

Lots of sympathy @ivegotthedecaf it's rubbish on top of pregnancy. Today is the first day in weeks that I'm not taking antibiotics for something.

I've got a definite rock hard little bump under all my flab! I tried to do something yesterday, bend down I think and definitely felt it there!

Well DH has been waiting 18 months for a place on a course at work that he needs to go for the next rank up. It's a 7 day residential course 400 miles away. He's been given a place but it's just under 3 weeks after my due date! They only run them once a year! He's booked a place but has said to them he might have to drop out at very short notice! If baby is late or I have a rough recovery then he won't go. Hopefully we'll be fine, I've got loads of friends and family around to help. 2nd baby so I'm hoping it's early, Dd was 11 days late.

Anyone doing hypnobirthing? I've bought the positive birth company digital pack and it sounds bloody amazing. If it really is that easy of course! Will need to get DH watching the videos soon but it's a bit early for him. Now I'm researching ways to bring on labour on time, ways to get baby into a good position etc 😂 that's definitely made my mind up about work though, if I've got any chance of this baby coming on time I need to be as relaxed as possible. So I'm thinking of going around 34/35 weeks.
