@BridgetJonesDaiquiri something like a mankini?!?!

Headache has not abated.. what someone said about not making allowances for being pregnant has really choked with me. I didn't want it to change anything about my life and I think I'm finding that it has really hard.

I've also been so emotional this week, crying for no really reason... my mums struggled with depression her whole life, so unexplained sad episodes terrify me in case I'm going down the same road, so as much as I'm sorry that you've felt PMSey @Lavellan it does reassure me that perhaps I'm not crazy!

@KR30 that's a big decision there... personally I don't think I could cope with such a big change right now, especially with the support you (should hopefully) get from colleagues of 12 years? It only you know what will work for you, good luck with your decision!

Hsunshine · 18/04/2019 17:54

Has anyone used websites pramworld or precious little one?

db92 · 18/04/2019 17:55

I have my second pregnancy yoga class tonight so I hope that helps with the aches and pains.

@KR30 is there a way you can look at their maternity policy before making a decision? I work for a local authority and recently found out there isn't a minimum amount of time you have to have been working with them before being eligible for their maternity scheme.

IVEgottheDECAF · 18/04/2019 19:49

Hsunshine i think both those sites are fine, i have used precious little ones myself

IVEgottheDECAF · 18/04/2019 20:00

We are having a boy! All is well!

Anyone seen any terry sleepsuits that arent plain white or pink ....

kyles101 · 18/04/2019 20:12

Congratulations!! How did dd take it?

boodles101 · 18/04/2019 21:55

Congrats Decaf

Just seen this on baby event dates on Facebook, all starting next week so handy if anyone wants to get any discounts on things.

Twins having a right old party in my belly tonight. DH got to feel both kicking for the first time so he's very happy. It's just a bit weird to feel kicking in 2 different places of my bump at the same time!

Megan2018 · 18/04/2019 22:15

I wish I could feel baby! Trying really hard to concentrate on whether I can feel anything but genuinely bugger all. No popping, no butterflies. Nada.
It is not helping the paranoia!

Whisky2014 · 18/04/2019 22:27

Oh i am definitely being kicked. And it's become stronger this last week. But im not sure i like the feeling!

Whisky2014 · 18/04/2019 22:28

But not strong enough for husband to feel

Whisky2014 · 18/04/2019 22:28

Will these baby events be discounted stuff?

Hsunshine · 18/04/2019 22:38

I’ve just ordered my furniture. Some baby stores have big discounts on

IVEgottheDECAF · 18/04/2019 22:38

Dd was not very gracious about the fact she is not getting a sister. Hopefully she will get over it!

Lots of movement here, baby was a monkey on scan again and took ages to get the measurements

Need to arrange my whooping cough this week

Ty for all the baby event dates! There will be all kinds of things on offer from nappies to clothes to furniture! Some places will have things to see online before the event i think asda do this

IVEgottheDECAF · 18/04/2019 22:39

Mothercare have 20% off full priced clothing

Whisky2014 · 18/04/2019 22:40

Hsunshine where did you order from?

Hsunshine · 18/04/2019 22:45

@whisky2014 precious little ones, but pramworld & kiddie kingdom had good offers too

Moraxella · 18/04/2019 22:53

Been to look at prams: icandy raspberry is The One I think!
Hormones: let’s just say my boyf asked me to go to the doctors cos it isn’t normal to cry that much about a dog with a paralysed leg.

Whisky2014 · 18/04/2019 23:02

Boys clothes are so mundane compared to girls. :(

IVEgottheDECAF · 18/04/2019 23:08

I feel you whisky i had been eyeing up lovely pink terry sleepsuits! Looks like dd will just have to have a new wardrobe too.

I had been looking at the ICandy Strawberry 2 as i think its been discontinued and is a good price

Tefiti2 · 18/04/2019 23:16

Completely agree re boys clothes - used to get so annoyed with only ever seeing grey, navy and dark blue on offer! H&M and Little Bird by Jools have some bright colours sometimes.

TheCraicDealer · 18/04/2019 23:53

I was seriously looking at the Raspberry but was seduced by a travel system with big wheels in the form of a Bugaboo Fox. I'd been looking for a small pram to fit in the back of my MINI but then changed cars to a countryman, so there's less constraints on space! I was considering a Bee for the same reason, but the smaller wheels apparently aren't great off road- whilst personally I love a good paved surface I do see a lot of parks and crappy gravel paths in my future.

Cosatto have a few good deals on at the moment, including car seats and prams if anyone's interested, and Natural Baby Shower have 15% off.

TwittleBee · 19/04/2019 01:45

Tescos has some beautiful bright boys clothes, it's where I get most of DS' clothes as bright colours really suit him.

TwittleBee · 19/04/2019 01:46

P.S. up at this awful hour thanks to CTS, heartburn and insomnia. I've given in trying to get back to sleep. Urgh.
