I get so tired taking the dogs for a walk now! Sometimes have to stop for a rest 😂

kyles101 · 04/04/2019 17:39

Just slacking off resting between chores and catching up - I love how chatty everyone is on this thread - feel like it's ok to bore you lot with stuff real life friends / colleagues would get bored of hearing about!!

Love the office looks @KnobJockey Ive picked up a couple of similar bits. Also, loving leggings why I've avoided these glorious items of comfort bliss is beyond me!

I can work from home, but I think the set up was put in place more so I could work from home in the evening rather than, you know, because occasionally it makes sense to work from home rather than the office 🙄 we shall see closer to the time though, I'm sure if I'm vocal enough about being uncomfortable!! My cover is starting mid July so plenty of time for getting up to speed and handing over.

You've opened the floodgates now @Megan2018 - you'll have a full on nursery kitted out before the weeks out 😉

Hi @yevans - you made me laugh out loud - I had visions of trying to lay on my front with a 9 month bump... like an upside turtle!!

Anyhoo... best make myself look busy get some housework done...

Tefiti2 · 04/04/2019 18:19

@ivegotthedecaf you’ll be doing amazingly well to still be going with SPD at 32 weeks! I work in the NHS so do 13 hr shifts with no desk job alternative - if I’m still working at 34 weeks I’ll be surprised!
So exciting with all these 20 weeks scans coming up! I’m 19 weeks today and 13 days left until mine, not like I’m counting...!

Karigan195 · 04/04/2019 18:24

I know summer seems a while off but I’m going on holiday so had to buy a swimming costume. Sharing because jojo maman have 20% off all swimwear adult and baby right now

maddiecxx · 04/04/2019 18:25

Hey girls, where's a good place to get dresses for the summer, they don't have to be maternity they can just be a stretchy material, I like the bodycon ones x

Karigan195 · 04/04/2019 18:39

Honestly I’ve had best success with eBay so far!

TwittleBee · 04/04/2019 18:44

Yup also love eBay finds too. 3 great parcels now!

Hsunshine · 04/04/2019 18:53

I just brought my first pair of mat jeans. I should’ve done this months ago

@maddiecxx I like boohoo or h&m

maddiecxx · 04/04/2019 19:26

@Hsunshine I've looked on boohoo and seen a couple I like but I can't find many I'm so picky

ShowerTheHorse · 04/04/2019 19:34

@Maddie I've bought a couple of pairs from Boohoo and I'm not impressed at all. Rubbish quality!

kyles101 · 04/04/2019 20:41

@TwittleBee how did u get on? We're still in 2 minds as to whether we'll find out...

TwittleBee · 04/04/2019 20:56

Baby looks all good kyles101 and we are very very clearly having a boy!

kyles101 · 04/04/2019 21:11

Ha ha, no doubt about that one twittle congratulations 🥰

maddiecxx · 04/04/2019 23:23

@ShowerTheHorse oh no😫😫 I think I'm going go shopping after my scan tomorrow get some more baby stuff and see if I can find anything while out x

IVEgottheDECAF · 04/04/2019 23:32

The pram i like for if baby is a girl, in the colour i want was discontinued a while ago. There are still a couple of places selling the pram. But the accessories are vanishing rapidly. Argh. What to do.....

TwittleBee · 05/04/2019 06:29

IVEgottheDECAF well I'd say get it because the pram is for you more than a baby anyway! So it can match with you

kyles101 · 05/04/2019 06:58

Yeah ivegot I was going to say the same... you're a girl so can have girly? Alternatively when are you finding out? Could you reserve from somewhere then confirm for sure when you know? Maybe if you picked two and told them it would be one or the other they'd reserve it for a while for you..?

KnobJockey · 05/04/2019 07:54

Kyles, I have the leggings from Asda (surprise surprise!) The maternity sports leggings that are about £12, they're lovely. I don't wear them for sports, but under dresses, and they're thick enough and high waisted enough. I'm pretty much living in them.

Dipsy77 · 05/04/2019 10:31

Think I've picked up a stomach bug I feel so I'll struggling to keep water down at the minute I have my 16 week mw app today which I've been looking forward to but now I'm dreading leaving the house because I feel so bad Envy

Megan2018 · 05/04/2019 10:50

@Dipsy77
I’d re-arrange for a bug. Midwives won’t want to risk catching it and spreading it on-especially if they have any high risk people to see.
Hope you feel better soon!

boodles101 · 05/04/2019 12:32

dipsy hope you feel better soon.
I'm off on a hen do today for the weekend. Really not feeling it at all but will be nice to get together with the girls. Would have been better just an overnight instead of 2 but I don't think it's going to be a hard-core drink fuelled hen do, more of a sophisticated afternoon tea etc.

Dipsy77 · 05/04/2019 17:48

I rearranged I've slept for most the afternoon but I have a slight raises temperature and my pulse is racing I have wet flannels on me never felt so poorly I haven't been sick since 1 so I'm hoping that's the worst of it I ant to take paracetamol but Darnt incase they come back up , waiting for my OH to come home as I'm feeling really sorry for myself

Hsunshine · 05/04/2019 18:31

Does anyone have baby clothes from Asda?

DustyDoorframes · 05/04/2019 18:46

Oh @Dipsy77 that sound grim!! Might be worth speaking to the NHS non emergency number? I did, last pregnancy in similar circumstances, and it was really reassuring- I think there was a certain temperature that was worth worrying about, but otherwise fine, but the nurse I spoke to was brilliant.

IVEgottheDECAF · 05/04/2019 19:19

I have had baby clothes from Asda for older dc. They were alright. Vests and sleepsuits fine. Some things like tshirts lost shape in wash a bit. Bits like joggers tend to be ok too.
