August 2019 4: All the scans and hopefully the end of nausea

Hi all

Welcome to the new thread. The list of names is HUGE! It might be a better idea to start a new list after 12 week scans so we have up to date due dates. It also allows those who have bad news but don't want to share it to leave quietly if they so wish.

I don't even have a scan date! Hurry up and end first trimester.

So jealous of all these scans, I've just booked a private scan for Friday. Thankfully work are really understanding.

Had sharp really painful pains in my right hand side so rang triage who said to go to a and e. No bleeding thankfully but waiting to be seen. God I feel sick maybe that's just nerves

Hey everyone been a little naughty so desperate to have scan so managed to change from Thursday till Monday so nervous but so excited!!!

So sorry to read the sad updates from those who have had bad news, I have been there and my heart goes out to you all.
Just got my 12 week scan appointment and it's not until 18th Feb (I'll be 13 weeks). That messes up our half term plans a bit!
I'm finding the waiting and not knowing if all will be well quite tough, I know lots of you feel the same. I have my Harmony test booked in for next week and I believe they'll do a quick scan first so hopefully that will set my mind at rest for a while.

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry to hear that some of you have had bad news. I hope all goes as well as it can now for you.

I've had a couple of scares but seems to have settled down now so just can't wait for my scan to confirm everything is going ok! It's not till next Friday and I'll be 13+3 then so feels late but hopefully will be able to see more

@schmexy I feel the same, mine is a week Thursday and I'll be 13 weeks, but feeling like at least there will be more baby to see and hopefully I'll feel really reassured if everything is ok then!

Had my scan today and baby was having a good old wriggle for us! Showing 12+4 so due on the 3rd August which happens to be my dads birthday and he is very happy along with us xx

Great news @emma1224 I had mine today too. EDD now 4th August so have moved a day ahead (not thay it will make a difference in the end) baby looked good, more chilled than my other 3.

@abw94: I hope it's nothing serious and is just growing pains. Keep us posted X

I'm sitting in my kitchen on a stool trying to work out if I want to throw up or lie down on the cold floor. Just when I thought the nausea was reducing, it comes back and kicks my arse

@abw94 fingers crossed it's just niggles. I get them sometimes, feels like my ovaries are going to pop!

@Jokie oh me too, I've sat with the window open in work all day. Everyone was absolutely shivering with the cold. Oops!

@jokie I'm 13 weeks today and I've started feeling sick again. Particularly this afternoon/early evening. I thought I was past it all! Nooooo!

Hi everyone, I’ve been absent for a bit! I’ve had a quick skim and I can see some of you have had lovely scans, and I’m so sorry to read the bad news some have had
I’ve got my scan tomorrow and I’m so nervous! I’m sure I just felt the baby move (I’m 13+1) it felt like someone was drumming fingers inside my uterus, I know it’s early to be feeling that but I can’t rhink what else it could be! I’ll find out tomorrow if where I felt it is where the sonographer puts the wand!

@lickencivers I had my first dizzy spell today after a hot shower, I remember last time round I had to sit down every time I tried to do the washing up , it’s so annoying!

@IrishCypriot My last MN antenatal bus was for a Sept DD but the baby birthdays range from July to October!

Having lots of growing pains today. Do you reckon hot water bottles are ok to use?

Hey found the thread - awful insomnia tonight up since 3.18. So tired but can't sleep

So so sorry to read of the losses that people have had it's heart breaking 💐 I hopee everyone is getting lots of TLC

scan booked for 31st trying not to worry but like others can't help fearing something will be wrong - can only cross fingers feels an age to wait

Ok going to give another go getting to sleep but won't hold my breath x

Have the crazy dreams started for anyone else? Last night I gave birth to twins, they just wouldn't let go of each other so I couldn't feed them .

I forgot all about the crazy pregnancy dreams!

@ABearandABump I had a weird dream that an old school friend got married. I fell down stairs, it was raining inside the building but we got waffles instead of canapés.

I had a really weird dream last night too about DH! In between tossing and turning most of night again.

Anyone after 9 weeks not really had tender boobs? Sometimes they hurt a little after wearing a bra but that's really although nausea kicks around afternoon.

A week on Monday till scan and getting nervous xx

@abearandabump Yes! Omg, the dreams! A few weeks ago I dreamt that I gave birth to a litter of puppies - 8 of them! And they weren't small, they looked like they were a few months old already! Very strange!
