August 2019 4: All the scans and hopefully the end of nausea

Hi all

Welcome to the new thread. The list of names is HUGE! It might be a better idea to start a new list after 12 week scans so we have up to date due dates. It also allows those who have bad news but don't want to share it to leave quietly if they so wish.

I don't even have a scan date! Hurry up and end first trimester.

Bakingabean due 29th-31st July (was 3rd August until I had my scan). This is my 1st!

I’m currently visiting PILs and they are v excited to see the scan pics. Have told a few people now, family and close friends. Starting to feel a bit more real!

I'm Between 8+6 and 8+4 so due date between 26th and 28th August DC3 xx

Due 4th of August at the moment anyway! I have my scan on Wednesday morning so let's see how I measure up!

Hi all, hope everyone's OK!

Got my scan on 29th January, but will probably be giving my midwife a call tomorrow as I've been having dark brown spotting (Saturday night) and today a lighter brown discharge in my underwear (not when I wipe). I'm not hugely concerned right now because I have no pain whatsoever, DTD with my partner on Friday night (and think it's probably irritation following that), and it appears to be getting lighter, but better safe than sorry! Fingers crossed! I am refusing to panic about it because at this point (10+5) it's really out of my control :)

I've had nothing from the hospital yet, no scan, no booking in appointment either. I rang them last week and they said I should expect a letter but they aren't scanning until 14 weeks at the minute. On my app I'm at 10+5, but I was measuring a few days ahead.

I have a 2nd private scan tomorrow as they found a possible ovary issue on the first one. Will update a due date tomorrow after the scan. If anyone is considering getting one I'd recommend it, for my mental health, even though they found a separate issue, it totally put my mind at rest to see so much.

I’ve got my scan tomorrow and the closer I get the more anxious I feel. I seem to have gone back to being on toilet paper watch (sorry tmi) as I feel like getting to this point is too good to be true.

At the moment I’m estimated to be due 1st August with Dc2 but I guess I can update tomorrow if that changes.

I got my scan appointment at my booking appointment thought that's what they always do.

@emma1224 I do a sudacrem face mask once or twice a week. I just put a thin layer on, sleep in it and then I'm spot free for a while. I feel like a teenager again with my face .

I've also found wiping with Huggies sensitive baby wipes after a shower helps my skin.

@Kariana is it definitely the the email address you use with Facebook I can add you as a friend on Facebook but that would be the only way without having the group open to the world and no one wants that lol

@Kariana I can't find you using your email address either. I'm guessing either your settings are set as private so I can't find you or it's another email address. Could you pm me again and I'll double check I have copied the right email across?

@emma1224 I’m another vote for sudocrem! I have mad acne on my chest and so far sudocrem is the only thing working to keep it under some kind of control and smells nice I also use a scrub in the shower to help shift dead skin/oil and unclog the pores before slapping on the sudo!

I'm 8+3 with a bump, i've also looked at symptoms for twins but have told myself its all just because its dc5....

Kcjoe current due date is 31/08 with DC2. My son will be 8 and my partner has a daughter who will be 9 when baby is due. Although because of my coil still being in, everything is still up in the air 😕
I too have had on/off brown discharge but I'm led to believe that it's caused by the coil being in situ. Hospital are not concerned about it as long as there's no pain. Back to Hospital on Monday 28th to see what's what x

@AbearandAbump this is dc 2 for me and my ds will be nearly 6 when they arrive!
11+4 today and definitely have a bump! Scan not until the 31st, getting impatient now!

Think I'm have growing pains again, there very quick sharp pains. 11 weeks now but it's still a worry 😐

I've had no growing pains for ages now @milly2000 that's also a worry... tomorrow cannot come quick enough.

Good luck with the scans ladies! I still haven't got a date for mine so am slightly jealous lol 😂 I've had period type pain starting from yesterday, midwife is coming this morning so I think I will mention it to her and see what she says x
