Hi all

Welcome to the new thread. The list of names is HUGE! It might be a better idea to start a new list after 12 week scans so we have up to date due dates. It also allows those who have bad news but don't want to share it to leave quietly if they so wish.

I don't even have a scan date! Hurry up and end first trimester.

@starryeyed13 I'm so sorry to hear your bad news, particularly after hearing a strong heartbeat. Thinking of you at this awful time :(

clairelee17 · 22/01/2019 12:15

After hearing so many bad news stories on this thread in the last 24 hours, and then stupidly reading about no heartbeat at 12 weeks scans on other MN threads to see how common it might be, I've totally and utterly terrified myself into thinking I'll get the same news tomorrow. It's totally and utterly mind-consuming for me right now, and I'm so scared :(

ABearandABump · 22/01/2019 12:37

Hi all, I've been AWOL for a few days. Unfortunately my uncle lost his battle early hours yesterday morning (after suffering 2 cardiac arrests) it's been a tough weekend! I'm just worried now after seeing people's posts that with all the stress of the weekend I'll end up losing the baby Sad, although I still have slight sickness and sore boobies.

So sorry for everyone that has had a loss Thanks.

OctoberGirl91 · 22/01/2019 12:44

I am so sorry @starryeyed13 and @Noopey for your devastating new sending you both all of my love xxx

Cobblestones · 22/01/2019 13:42

Oh gosh this is such a difficult time I’m so sorry @noopey and @starryeyed13 It really is such a cruel thing to go through. Wish you all the best in the near future. For now hope you have plenty of support 💐💐

Kariana · 22/01/2019 14:19

So sorry to all those who have had bad news 💐

@abearandabump so sorry to hear about your uncle. Try not to worry about baby too much. I had a huge amount of stress in the run up to Christmas and was convinced that it would have caused a problem but scan this morning showed baby and heartbeat with measurements matching my due date. They're well protected from our stresses! Try and get some rest and relaxation in this week if you can xx

MrsRyan15 · 22/01/2019 14:21

So much sad news today, so sorry to those that are going through a difficult Thanks

Love and positives wishes to those that are worrying about upcoming scans. xx

marajade12 · 22/01/2019 14:21

So sorry to all the ladies who’ve had bad news recently. Fingers crossed for good news for all of tomorrow’s scans.

I’ve had an awful day. Was side swiped by a lorry on the M62 this morning. I’m ok but am in a bit of a state emotionally now. Glad DH is driving me to scan tomorrow. Don’t think I could face driving to the hospital myself.

QueenofFox · 22/01/2019 14:40

To everyone who has had such sad news. My heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry and I hope you have someone to look after you.

@ABearandABump I'm sorry about your uncle. What a sad week this is. Sending best wishes xx

Jokie · 22/01/2019 14:46

I'm so sorry to hear about some of the bad news. You're all in my thoughts. I was in your position last year at this time so I know how devastating it is.

Oftenconfused · 22/01/2019 16:29

Just want to send sympathy and best wishes to those who've had bad news, and encouragement to those having an anxious time. Sounds like quite a few are having a tough time, my thoughts are with you.

MeghanV07 · 22/01/2019 16:48

Hey ladies hoping I can join

Currently 11+5 with DC2 which is our rainbow baby. Previous miscarriage in September. 12 week scan on Thursday and I'm bricking it. Had some spotting at 7+4, had a scan but measured 4 days behind. Absolutely convinced I'm going to get there on Thursday and they're going to tell me baby's heartbeat had stopped & I am spending the majority of my days crying at the moment 😔.

I'm so sorry to read of the recent losses in this thread. Sending you all so much love ❤️

MeghanV07 · 22/01/2019 16:49

lickencivers · 22/01/2019 18:02

Evening all.

Tartanwallpaper · 22/01/2019 18:06

Can I be added please ? Due 8th august, scan on Wednesday next week

ABearandABump · 22/01/2019 19:08

Thank you for all your lovely messages. Hello to all the new ladies too! It's nice to see such a lovely supportive group Grin.

Is anyone else ridiculously irritable? My son is currently in the running for a world record for the loudest ice lolly sucker. I feel like I'm going insane from the noise!

Jokie · 22/01/2019 19:23

@MeghanV07: welcome! I really hope that the scan goes well. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and know the suspense and worry. I'll be thinking of you.

@Tartanwallpaper: welcome! Tell us something about yourself?

@lickencivers: evening! How has your day been?

Anyone else struggling with evening nausea?

MeghanV07 · 22/01/2019 19:25

@Jokie thank you ❤️ it's heartbreaking isn't it! I'm just so worried.

I'm struggling with nausea so bad right now 🤮 have had it since 4 weeks and have had one good day I recon since and that was yesterday. Been sick so many times and on anti-sickness

Isn't it so glam 🙃

lickencivers · 22/01/2019 19:37

@Jokie all good thank you, you?

I'm due on August 10th so now 11+3, when I lay down can definately feel hard lump in my tummy. This is baby number 4 and I've put on a stone!!!!!! I am so hungry. all the time.

PinkLady89x · 22/01/2019 20:04

I'm so sorry to hear about all of the losses. That is so sad and there seems to be quite a few people going through really hard times. Sending love.

@Jokie I get the worst nausea in the evenings. I actually don't look forward to coming home from work because I know it's coming.

clairelee17 · 22/01/2019 20:21

@MeghanV07 Welcome! I know exactly how you feel! I miscarried at 9 weeks back in September, and have my 12 week scan tomorrow. To say I'm beside myself with worry is an understatement. I'm so scared thinking the same. I didn't have an early scan but pondered it for a long time. I didn't want the possibility of hearing an early heartbeat and then nothing there at 12 weeks. I've been extremely nervous and anxious for weeks leading up to tomorrow, and I'm no calmer this evening. Cried many a time like you. But fingers crossed for us both, and all of you. Sticky thoughts and positive vibes xxx

Jelliestogether · 22/01/2019 20:58

Sorry to everyone who has posted bad news. Take care of yourselves!

I'm also similar to others nervous about my scan on Thursday, although nothing to suggest I need to be (no cramping, bleeding, pain etc). All we can do is wait and support each other regardless.
