August 2019 4: All the scans and hopefully the end of nausea

Hi all

Welcome to the new thread. The list of names is HUGE! It might be a better idea to start a new list after 12 week scans so we have up to date due dates. It also allows those who have bad news but don't want to share it to leave quietly if they so wish.

I don't even have a scan date! Hurry up and end first trimester.

@Rachellev is this your first? I’m 15 weeks with my first and I’ve no bump at all 😂 well I mean I can tell there is something there but as far as looking pregnant no one else could tell every woman is different! I exercise regularly (I love Lucy Wyndham-Read’s workouts on YouTube and she does 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester and post natal workouts too) so I wonder if that’s why I’m not showing yet

I don't feel like I'm showing - however I looked in the mirror today after my bath and I noticed how different my body posture is
I feel like I'm changing shape! I know I obviously am but never actually noticed

My backs arching and I was quite amazed with how soon this has happened as I'm only 14+3

Has anyone been suffering with headaches? These are actually taking the place of my sickness atm! I'm not complaining as I've been hoping my sickness would subside soon x

@emma1224 I've had headaches all week, although I still have some low level nausea too. Hopefully it's just a short phase!

I didnt start showing with ds til about 17w, I'm already bigger than that at 11w this time round. I was hoping to keep it a secret at work a while longer but I honestly don't know how I've hidden it this far already, its crazy.

@emma1224: yes, join the headache train. I've tried everything but some days I need to nap to try and "clear" it.

@queenoffox: I hope the CVS happens soon so you can relax a bit.

Im trying to get back into an eating regime after the nausea. It's been relentless the past few weeks and is just starting to reduce (at 14 1/2 weeks!)

@emma1224 I noticed my back being very arched last night. I couldn't believe it until I looked at all the pictures recently and it was so arched.

@emma1224 I've been suffering from migraines this week. So much so I've been signed off work. Never had a migraine before.

Went the drs who asked for a water sample, also got a lovely uti and an infection of the liver.

@ScotsBaby2 I'm probably the same size as you. This is baby number 2, DS ripped all my stomach muscles with his random growth spurts.

I'll take another picture later as I'm significantly smaller tonight.

I have headaches too, worse than my non-pregnant ones and paracetamol doesn’t seem to work, so frustrating. I might see whether my gp can prescribe anything else.

I’m definitely feeling little movements quite frequently now, so that’s cheering me up!

Here is this mornings "bump" with a wee photo bomb from the current tiny tyrant.

Night time bump is much bigger than morning bump.

@Scotsbaby2 my "bump" (not bump just bloat) is bigger in the evening too!

I've just weighed myself for the first time since my booking in appointment at 6 weeks (now 15+2) and I'm pretty much exactly the same. I feel fatter but I'm not heavier. And I've been eating a lot more than I should. I mean I could have done with losing 2 stone before getting pregnant so I don't really need to gain that much while I am. I'm really quite surprised as I usually gain weight just by looking at food!

@bakingabean same. I've lost 3lb since falling pregnant (sadly 3st overweight), all my tops are tight round the middle but I'm lighter than when I started.

It was the same in my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies I just didn't gain a lot and while I'm eating ok I'm not dieting. DH is a slim man who can eat whatever he likes and I joke that when I'm pregnant I get his metabolism for 9months! Sadly as soon as I give birth I gain weight by breathing!

Hi ladies, longtime lurker, first time poster. I’m 14+6 with my second child, DD is 5 and a bit. I’ll be 40 in June, we’ve been trying for 4 years to conceive, I had an MC in July. This is a Clomid baby, finally worked after month 8! Nice to see all the lovely news coming in! Could someone please point me in the direction of the Facebook group?

Feeling fed up - hit with a headache and nausea 2 hours before husband and I were due to go out for dinner. I'm now stuck in bed and dinner has been cancelled.

We're trying to have wee mini dates on the run up to baby arriving cos we know they will be few and far between!

It's my birthday this weekend and I'm hoping my body behaves so I can enjoy it!

Sorry for the moan, just feeling a bit down in the dumps! Might try persuade the husband that the baby (me) needs a chippy :p

First scan today but dates have been pushed back so now i am due way in to September! Think i will set up camp over there now so i dont feel left out here!
