@AliceRR - I haven't dropped so who knows! Just had garlic bread with my tea so wondering if I'll regret this later!

@bubblybrit - even if I wanted to (which is never lately) it's not very nice being this big - I doubt we could manage it lol.
He's assured me he'd be happy for 'other stuff' to happen instead - lucky me!!

Massive fail earlier, decided to have a 'tidy up' - all I'll say is thank God that nobody is going there, I think it's better? Ish! I don't think I'll take it up as a living (although I guess I'd be able to see!! 🤦‍♀️

Just seen on the pregnancy page the positive birthing co digital pack is £20 if anyone was interested

I had been thinking about it so might take advantage!

@welshweasel congratulations!

@Notquiteagandt would a hot water bottle help? I'm guessing TENS is out the window with the monitor on?

So frustrating @detachablehoof! What had you decided on?

Happy birthday @NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking ! Hope you're being spoiled.

@aliceRR I have been feeling really down the last 24 hours or so. Hoping it's just pregnancy hormones causing it and I'll be over it soon, but I'm really stressed about all the things which need doing but I don't seem to have the energy for, I'm really scared about giving birth, and I've lost any enthusiasm I ever had for meeting my baby. Can hardly bear to go in the baby room or look at the things I've bought for it Sad

bubblybrit · 22/01/2019 21:20

@Yakadee. I think the last time we dtd was when I was around 20 weeks. My DH feels a bit strange knowing there is a baby in there! Your post made me laugh as I also tried to have a little ‘trim’....I won’t be winning any prizes but it’s made me feel a little better. I was just surprised how difficult it was!

detachablehoof · 22/01/2019 21:21

@lanalawr I had ordered (and paid for!!) the Mutsy Nio. Can't find anything else which I like the look of!

Yakadee · 22/01/2019 21:31

@bubblybrit - I know, right! I even tried to use a little mirror and it didn't help at all!! I'm hoping that'll be fine for a while as don't fancy trying that again! Lol x

bubblybrit · 22/01/2019 21:42

@Yakadee. I used a small mirror as well but still couldn’t get the angle right! Lol. It will have to do though as don’t have the energy to try that again - at least until I have to! X

Just told OH he will have to help me. He looked horrified. My previous c section scar is a bit swollen now from pressure so I’m wondering whether hair removal cream would be better than shaving... its keloid anyway so quite large. Any experience?

@detachablehoof hope you’re ok. It’s normal to feel a bit wobbly at this stage and the issue with the pram won’t have helped. If you can, go to a department store and try some out and maybe do something nice for you this week. Sending hugs x

bubblybrit · 22/01/2019 21:56

@Since2016. I don’t have any experience personally but one of my friends used hair removal cream in late pregnancy. She was a little careless by her own admission and the cream ended up getting places where it shouldn’t be used! She said the stinging/burning was unbearable and had to sit in a cool bath to take the sting out of her bits. So if you are planning to use it then I’d just be really careful! X

Since2016 · 22/01/2019 22:16

@bubblybrit 😣😣😣😣 ouch!!!! I’m just nervous about cutting my scar as it’s horribly large at the moment! May try carefully and then re-evaluate!

AliceRR · 22/01/2019 22:22

@detachablehoof Oh no I hope it is just a temporary hormonal thing for you. I must say I have not lost enthusiasm for meeting baby and looking at baby stuff makes me feel better. But I am just very tired and irritable.

The other thing is I am a little anxious at times (have been since start of pregnancy) and can’t quite believe everything will be ok and I will really get to meet my healthy baby in a few weeks. When I feel like that I can’t get excited especially if I’m worrying about movement or something that day.

Could it be the anxiety of giving birth that’s having an effect on you? Ive been watching the positive birth co videos on YouTube (free ones while I decide whether to order the digital pack that I’ve linked above). Maybe trying to address anxiety about the birth will help by watching things like that, reading more, looking for some positive birth stories online?

AliceRR · 22/01/2019 22:25

I also just had a shower and need to shave down there. I can’t get a blade down there as I really just can’t see anything so going to try my battery operated trimmer which seems a bit safer! Don’t fancy putting hair removal cream down their either 🤔
