Wouldn’t worry about random symptoms this early. Everyone says about ‘their vowels clearing’ beforehand but tbh that’s in the context of ‘and I went into labour the next day’. Once it starts you will know!!

Since2016 · 18/01/2019 08:05

@powkin oh dear! I raise you a naked almost 3 year old having a nuclear meltdown for 20 mins about getting her clothes on last night. I totally lost it! Then my ‘D’H woke me at midnight having been out and forgotten his keys then proceeded to Fanny about till 1:30 keeping me awake. And guess who got up with the almost 3 year old at 6:30?

Sigh. You’ll be fine - everyone has their moments. I cried once DD was asleep because I was so tired and she was so vile even though I know this is just acting out because there’s lots of change afoot...

Yakadee · 18/01/2019 08:08

@powkin - don't get me started! I'm so glad I've finished work as the news is on constantly!

Sorry to see so many are feeling rough / off - hope you feel better.

On the toilet front, I've been like that pretty much every time recently! Doubt it's anything to worry about xx

Alicejj8x · 18/01/2019 08:21

Thanks ladies

Yeah I've heard once you get frequent bowel movements it could be the sign of labour starting so that freaked me out but I don't think it's the case for me lol! Hope everyone feels better soon x

Notquiteagandt · 18/01/2019 08:34

Here you ladies on the no sleep front. Between being sick, needing the loo constantly and generally being uncomfy and aches and pains. Managed about 2.5hrs last night. All practise for a newborn isnt it.

Got my driving test today. So lets see how I fare on that. On zero sleep and having to have a sick bucket on my knee.

Praying for a miracle 🤞🤞🤞

AliceRR · 18/01/2019 09:39

@Alicejj8x I’ve had loose stools for a few days but that’s not overly unusual for me to have from time to time. I have wondered if I’m showing “signs” though!

Since2016 · 18/01/2019 10:01

Another one with upset tummy / bowels. Honestly it’s normal at this stage. I’m also feeling v sick again. Joy.

Today’s approach to toddler management - out of the house and busy.

Good luck @notquiteagandt you’re v brave!

melissa112 · 18/01/2019 10:20

Argh. A lady in my office a few weeks down has a cold and has put some vix or olbas oil in some hot water and it really stinks. My eyes are stingy.

Any of you ladies know if it's something I should avoid? Read some old threads on some forums where it could cause contractions or problems with baby's liver (or kidney, can't remember which) but no definitive NHS type answer!

Just wondering if I should speak to my boss about working from home the rest of the day or whether I'm overreacting?

melissa112 · 18/01/2019 10:21

Oops sorry ladies, I've clicked on the wrong thread. Was supposed to post on the March board!

bubblybrit · 18/01/2019 11:20

@Notquiteagandt. Good luck with your driving test...I’m 35+6 today and my car has been tucked away since last Friday!

AvoidingMarking · 18/01/2019 11:21

Good luck @Notquiteagandt

mummymummymummummum · 18/01/2019 11:23

Best of luck @Notquiteagandt

Try not to hit the horn with your bump!

detachablehoof · 18/01/2019 11:35

@Since2016 I enjoyed the thought of "vowels clearing" 😂

MummyBM · 18/01/2019 11:36

I have also suffered the last few days with an upset tummy, spent yesterday and today in bed as I’m lucky and my son has stayed at his nanas for 2 days. I’m hardly sleeping so spent 2 days napping as soon as I feel myself feeling sleepy.

Keep having little cry’s because of the pain my hips and back are in. I’m 37 weeks now and see the midwife on Monday. Really struggling with the thought I could have a few more weeks of this 😣

Currently in bed, no energy and really feeling sorry for myself.

2019Mama · 18/01/2019 11:45

Good luck @Notquiteagandt X

Notquiteagandt · 18/01/2019 11:50

I did it. Lots moans and groans trying to turn to look.over my sholder and behind me etc whilst feeling like a whale but I PASSED.

Such a relief..!! Thanks for the good lucks it obviously worked.

detachablehoof · 18/01/2019 12:01

Hooray that's great! well done @notquiteagandt

Eyedontknow · 18/01/2019 12:02

Well done, @Notquiteagandt !

Apparently my increase of BHs is not a sign of imminent labour for me, but rather my millionth otherwise symptomless UTI this pregnancy. Gah.

mummymummymummummum · 18/01/2019 12:02

Congratulations @Notquiteagandt 🏆
