Hey ladies,
@Chocolate89 that's an amazing scan picture! Must be so lovely to see that.
I've got my reassurance scan tomorrow at EPU because I know someone who works there and they know I've been driving myself crazy with worry after my mmc in August! I'll be 7 + 4 weeks tomorrow. I am literally so sure it's going to be awful news like last time and I just can't even imagine how I'll feel if there is good news. It just brings back very bad memories because last time there was no indication of any problems. I'm pleased I'll know one way or another after 8.30 tomorrow! This stress can't be good 😅.
I haven't even booked my pregnancy in yet because I'm not convinced. Fingers crossed! X

MrsRyan15 · 16/01/2019 18:45

@milly2000 we tried for Glastonbury tickets but missed out. We've been quite a few times before and was discussing trying in the resale but decided that I couldn't do it that heavily pregnant.

I find it so tiring anyway, I can't imagine how it would be with a massive bump.

But I guess the thing about Glastonbury is it can be whatever you want it to be, having a much more chilled out weekend going to smaller stages or hanging out at the back where you have space and can sit etc it could be doable.

Just not sure about the camping and loos etc and if the weather is bad...

milly2000 · 16/01/2019 18:49

@MrsRyan15 yeah my thoughts as well.

I said no way to start with but as there was nothing on tele tonight we started watching last years highlights and now I'm thinking about it. The only way I would do it though is if we got a camper. My parents took there's last year and least they could shower cook and rest unlike us in a tent! I might speak to my midwife at my 16 week appointment and see what she says about the idea.

Chocolate89 · 16/01/2019 19:09

Thank you everyone! 😊😊 got a little video of this wee one jumping about the place!
@pinklady89 I know exactly how you feel, i had a mc in July and have been so anxious ever since. Every scan I expect the worst! Fingers crossed for you tomorrow, let us know how it goes! Remember once you see the little hb the rate of misc goes right down. Hopefully it gives you some much needed reassurance!

Bakingabean · 16/01/2019 19:17

@Ss3ajb I had similar in the car today on my way to work! Sat at traffic lights with tears on my face! Combination of hormones and exhaustion, insomnia, scan stress (it's on Friday). I felt so ridiculous but I couldn't stop! I'm 12 weeks today and it's my birthday so dp is making me (well done) steak. He's a good un. Hope your DP is looking after you!

pixietheginger · 16/01/2019 19:38

@Bakingabean happy birthday! Hope you have a lovely evening and enjoy the well done steak and hopefully some Cake x

Oftenconfused · 16/01/2019 19:51

I had my 12-week scan today - all seems well! I found it amazing how much detail we could see. And we seem to have a proper little wriggler. The measurement put me at 12w1d so my EDD is now 30th July, but I think I'll stick with this group anyway Smile. Best of luck for others coming up soon.

ss3ajb · 16/01/2019 19:56

@Bakingabean Happy Birthday! 🎂🍰🎊🎉 hope you enjoyed the steak - nice to hear it's not just me 😘 I think exhaustion has got the better of me too - woke up this morning and felt like had been hit by a train was so tired then a day at work just finished me off - in much better spirits now 🤗 Enjoy the rest of your birthday x

CalmerComber · 16/01/2019 20:09

The crying is just unreal! The tiniest thing sets me off. This afternoon is was because DD did a cute smile. FFS I need to get it together!

Bakingabean · 16/01/2019 20:11

Thanks @pixietheginger and @ss3ajb ! Steak was great and I got cake at work. Work finished me off too so I've got my feet up with the dog while dp washes up!

@oftenconfused great news about the scan!

ScotsBaby2 · 16/01/2019 21:06

@PinkLady89x thinking about you for tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed that everything is ok. I hope you manage to get some rest today.

I had some nausea today! I've never been so happy then as always was overthinking it and wondered if it was just a one off or because I was hungry. 1st trimester sucks.

@milly2000 I have tickets for this year, I've been every year since 2004 - I love it there, DS1 was born during a fallow year in 2012 so I didn't miss out. I was due June last year, but unfortunately I MCd, and as DS 1 was born 10 weeks early I feel I may have to miss this one.

Although I am still getting my ticket, just in case anything goes worn, and I'm tempted to book a B&B nearby and go for just the days. It does depend on the weather though, because in 2016 there's no way I could have coped with that AND being pregnant.

I'd love to go and just sit in the healing fields for the weekend Grin

UnicornDust17 · 16/01/2019 22:19

Oh wow @Chocolate89 that is an AMAZING scan picture, how perfect. I am 11+5 today Smile. How do you feel?

UnicornDust17 · 16/01/2019 22:21

@PinkLady89x good luck for tomorrow. Stay positive x

UnicornDust17 · 16/01/2019 22:22

Happy birthday due date buddy @Bakingabean Grin

UnicornDust17 · 16/01/2019 22:22

oh year @Oftenconfused, stay with us... we are much nicer Grin

MummaGiles · 16/01/2019 22:26

Ok everyone slightly gross question. I’m 9+3 today and my nipples have gone a bit crusty. Is anyone getting this? I remember it from my last pregnancy but I can’t remember it being so early on.

milly2000 · 16/01/2019 22:35

@UnicornDust17 I'm just going to see how I feel in April if I'm feeling good I'll probs just go for it!

Last year was so hot!! It was struggle, but the weather is always hit and miss. We've had years where we've been socked through and years I'm burnt and would do anything for a bit of rain! Well you never know I might see you there!

milly2000 · 16/01/2019 22:39

Also @UnicornDust17 I started a Glastonbury 2019 pregnant thread,to see if anyone else out there is considering it or got any tips!

Chocolate89 · 16/01/2019 22:45

@unicorndust thanks! I know I think my consultant was quite chuffed with herself, she said scanning wasnt usually her strong point! Feeling ok thanks, back on antibiotics and this round thankfully seem to be working!
@bakingabean ah happy birthday love! Hope you have a lovely evening ❤🎂
@mummagiles my best friend had this from 10 weeks, she just used vasiline and it seemed to do the trick.she used to speak about it all the time 😂

UnicornDust17 · 16/01/2019 23:19

ooh where is that @milly2000 can you tag me in it?? I'll have a look. Smile I can dream
