Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

emma1224 · 14/01/2019 23:57

@Noopey @Findingaway
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news, my thoughts are with you xx

Kcjoe · 15/01/2019 06:08

Sorry to hear your sad news @Noopey and @Findingaway

Kcjoe · 15/01/2019 06:13

I went for my second scan yesterday to check on baby and coil. After bleeding on Saturday night I was expecting the worst. However the scan showed that I was 7 weeks and 1 day and there was a clear heartbeat. So my dates have changed again. At the moment it's either 31st August or 1st September. Anyway the Dr wanted the coil out. But she couldn't see or feel the strings! 🙈 so my risk of miscarriage has now gone from 20% up to 50/60% because it's still in there. I have to go back in 2 weeks to see if they have reappeared. The coil is still right next to the baby 😕

Blueberry2018 · 15/01/2019 06:34

@Kcjoe What a rollercoaster for you :-( glad baby has good heartbeat although that makes you feel even more attached doesnt it should something go wrong. You sound loke you're being led by a good team of professionals around you so fingers crossed it will work out for you xxxx

Poppy012 · 15/01/2019 06:44

Oh @kcjoe what a stressful time for you. That's amazing that u saw the heartbeat 😍 hope everything goes ok xx

Poppy012 · 15/01/2019 06:45

Really sorry to hear the news @noopey thinking of you xx

IVEgottheDECAF · 15/01/2019 07:15

Booking in today at 7+4, starting to feel bigger though and realise period i had in November was very short and light. Although this is baby 5 so that could just be the reason i suppose! Hmmmm.

Pelvis aching when pushing pram so might try ds in smaller lighter buggy today and see if that helps

IVEgottheDECAF · 15/01/2019 07:16

Kcjoe that must be really worrying!

Sorry so many have had bad news

I have had so far 4 healthy straight forward pregnancies, this makes my crazy mind think maybe that means this time its my turn for it to go wrong? But that is silly right?

OctoberGirl91 · 15/01/2019 07:39

Morning guys need some advice since late evening yesterday started with left sided pelvic pain that started radiating into left side lower back and it's said throughout night and woke me up, so I eventually took paracetamols at 3am.

It's took edge but pains still in background, I'm going drop another water sample off with GP this morning as I've finished my course for my water infection but I'm just worried.

Should I speak to someone or keep my eye on it?xx

QueenofFox · 15/01/2019 07:59

@IVEgottheDECAF I feel the same (although we do have issues as DD2 is disabled) but feel like it's more worrying this times as it's been so straightforward before, feel like my luck must be running out.

@OctoberGirl91 I've had similar. Picked my 2yo up for a wee and set off the most enormous cramps and pelvic pain just been going on all night, even with paracetamol, still agony. Not really sure what to do. I guess my advice to you would be to get checked out so I should do the same. So worrying. Told DH he has to do it from now on!

ss3ajb · 15/01/2019 07:59

@OctoberGirl91 I would definately get in touch with midwife or Dr if you are worried hope you are ok

Booking appointment for me today! Excited something is finally happening hoping will get my scan soon after. Have been getting awful headaches which I don't usually suffer from apparently quite common in pregnancy but not fun 😕

So very sorry for those who have had bad news my thoughts are with you 💐 Xx

PinkLady89x · 15/01/2019 08:40

Hey ladies,
I've managed to get an early scan booked in at the EPU for Thursday morning because I'm so worried and can't think of anything other than my mmc and how I'm just assuming it's happened again - that's not right to think like that. I've work up today and my boobs don't feel particularly sore and I'm not feeling that sick so I'm more worried now. I know it comes and goes but I really need this scan. They offered it because of me worrying and to 'reassure' me. I hope they do

Moncwf · 15/01/2019 08:46

@IVEgottheDECAF I feel the same but only on number 2, conceived first month trying this time (wasn't long with #1) so feel like I can't be that lucky? I suppose the thing to think is, it's pretty random what happens, or, based on health problems you may or may not be aware of, not about what anyone deserves.
@OctoberGirl91 I'd definitely call doctor or epu. Good call getting urine checked, your immune system is lower in pregnancy so may need more help with antibiotics, but one sided pain is always worth getting checked.
@kcjoe glad all is looking well with baby, sorry the coil problem continues. Hopefully they get it out safely, or maybe your baby will be one of those you hear about born clutching the coil.
My diet of white carbs is causing me other problems. Going to try and eat some dry bran flakes today Blush ahh the delights of pregnancy.

Spongeb0b · 15/01/2019 08:54

@PinkLady89x if this reassures you, the exact same thing happened to me so I went to epau last week for an early scan (7 weeks) Everything was fine, and consultant and midwife said the Pains were absolutely nothing to worry about unless accompanied by lots of bleeding. Hope that helps let us know how you get on x

Spongeb0b · 15/01/2019 08:55

My symptoms were also none existent but are here with a vengeance now I've hit 8 weeks

Spongeb0b · 15/01/2019 09:00

@OctoberGirl91 I would say get checked but don't worry. My pain was also lower back, one side and again they said they werent worried as no bleeding (and scan confirmed all good) thoughts with everyone who's had bad news, I've been where you are and I know that there's nothing we can say that will make you feel better, but we are all thinking about you xx

OctoberGirl91 · 15/01/2019 09:24

Thanks everyone for your replies I am 8+1 today and seems to have subsided. Just dropped eldest DD off at school I know EPU will want to scan me and not sure I'm prepared for it in case it's bad new so going monitor it, if gets any worse I'll call this afternoon. I had this last time with my MC and it was the corpus cyst that does produces hormones they said, so just hope it's that if it's bad enough I need pain relief again I'll call.

I'll keep you updated

Sorry to everyone who's going through heartbreak of a MC sending you all my love xx❤️

OctoberGirl91 · 15/01/2019 09:25

@PinkLady89x have they said if it scan will be internal? I fear having an internal after my last MC xx

Chocolate89 · 15/01/2019 09:45

I’m really sorry for you both @Noopey and @findingaway loads of hugs and love to you 💐💐

@kcjoe you poor thing, it must be so hard to have to wait. Fingers crossed for you xxx

@octobergirl91 I hope you feel better soon! Rest up if you can love xxx

ABearandABump · 15/01/2019 12:52

@PinkLady89x I've been the same this morning, I've woken up and I feel like all my pregnancy symptoms have gone. I'm able to stomach food more now than the previous few days.

Although, my stomach is still relatively bloated. I had an early scan at my EPU last week and saw babies 'strong heartbeat' so fingers crossed!

Thinking of everyone whose having a tough time at the minute, hopefully you all have support Thanks

mightypinkdms · 15/01/2019 15:12

Hi all -

Am feeling really rough at the moment (9 weeks), I saw the doctor yesterday who gave me some medication for the sickness, but I feel exhausted and overwhelmed. I am taking until Friday morning off, but just can’t seem to shake this feeling of worry about going back to work, especially as I feel so bad.

The doctor did say I could come back Friday to try a different medication if this one didn’t work, but my week’s self certification will be up by them and I am so anxious she will send me back to work despite feeling rubbish.

On top of this, the pharmacist was really reluctant with my medication (prochlorperazine), saying he didn’t recommend it as “it could harm the foetus”, which has really made me feel guilty about wanting to take it in the first place!

I guess this is just a rant, I’m exhausted and fed up and want to be at work, but I know I will struggle being there and the sort of environment it is, it’s relentless and no room for self doubt/illnesss.

Ugh sorry for the long post...

Hortonlovesahoo · 15/01/2019 15:18

Hi all

OctoberGirl91: let us know how it goes today. I often get aches.

mightypinkdms: I really feel for you as it's horrid. Make sure you go back if you need to.

I had my counselling session today and we're doing the NIPS testing. Very supportive lady who was really helpful and she even scanned me as I said that I've been anxious as we lost our previous pregnancy around this time. We saw a heartbeat and little bean moving around.
