Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

Thanks Marajade. It’s always scary when you see blood in the loo. I don’t think I’ve ever had that before. But so much worse when your pregnant, even when you know it can be very common.

How usual is it to make you wait 48/36ish hours for a scan? I’d so much rather it was today.

marajade12 · 11/01/2019 12:29

I don’t think it’s that unusual to wait a bit for the scan, I think they do try and see people sooner if you are losing a lot of blood. For mine I phoned up on the Thrurday and was seen on the Monday.

bluesdetoi · 11/01/2019 12:39

This insane food aversion is going to kill me! My stomach is just churning 24/7, and any time I look at or smell food makes me want to curl up and die! Even plain water makes me sick. 8+1 today. EnvyEnvyEnvySad

My husband is saying I was EXACTLY like this with my first, but I don't remember aaaaanything. I bet this is a survival mechanism to make me wanna go a second round!

Jelliestogether · 11/01/2019 12:52

@noopey sorry to hear about the blood! Not surprising your worried, I'm sure it'll be fine. Like others have said lots of people have bleeds and it's fine!

Just got my 12 week scan appointment booked 😁 10 days time. Really excited as we havent had an early scan! Although quite annoyed at the hospital as they sent the scan appointment to my mum's address....haven't lived there for 5 years! She also doesn't know yet...Hopefully the envelop is discreet and doesn't give the game away!

orangefolly · 11/01/2019 13:03

Hi all

Sadly, I found out at my scan today I've had a missed miscarriage. Bit of a shock since we saw the heartbeat at 7 weeks, but now at 10 weeks it has stopped. I'll duck out of this thread now, but I wish you all the best in your pregnancies Flowers

Noopey · 11/01/2019 13:08

orangefolly I’m so sorry. Sending lots of love. FlowersFlowers

Cobblestones · 11/01/2019 13:59

@noopey it must be a really anxious time for you. I really hope the spotting stops soon and Monday comes around quickly. ❤️

OctoberGirl91 · 11/01/2019 14:27

@orangefolly I am so sorry for your loss, take care of yourself xx

OctoberGirl91 · 11/01/2019 14:29

Every time I see such heartbreaking news my gut starts churning and feel I'm reliving my MC all over again. This first trimester really isn't much fun at all.

Hope I don't offend anyone by saying that, such sad news xx

clairelee17 · 11/01/2019 14:43

@OctoberGirl91 I think we had a similar conversation before. That's exactly how I feel too. I've had a MC too and makes me re-live it each time I hear someone else's story. I keep thinking I'll be the next one to give such awful news. Such a long, awful anxious time and I hate every minute of this first trimester :( xx

xLauraa · 11/01/2019 15:12

Just been for an early scan due to spotting starting couple nights ago!
Measured 8+5 so new EDD of 18th Aug 😍 heartbeat was there and he/she was wiggling about like crazy!! So happy!

abw94 · 11/01/2019 15:41

@bubblegumunicorn my mom is convinced I'm having a girl and calling it Nicole! No idea where she's got it from... I have a feeling it's a boy and so does my Nan. Who knows Smile

bubblegumunicorn · 11/01/2019 16:05

@orangefolly so sorry to hear that hope you have the support you need around you!

starryeyed13 · 11/01/2019 16:30

@orangefolly I'm so sorry. So gutting especially after a good scan at 7 weeks. All the best for the future x

EverythingNow · 11/01/2019 16:44

So sorry @orangefolly. Such sad news xx

MrsRyan15 · 11/01/2019 17:01

So sorry @orangefolly, such sad news especially after a positive early scan. Take care of yourself. xx

MrsRyan15 · 11/01/2019 17:05

@Noopey try not to worry too much, I know easier said that done. I had similar spotting and red blood / small clot in the loo and I was certain it was all over and would be another 18 months waiting for another BFP.

I had to wait a few days for my scan and in that time I was obsessively going to the toilet checking for bleeding and couldn't focus on anything else.

Finally at the scan it showed a small implantation bleed and nothing to worry about.

Fingers crossed for positive news for you. xx

Cobblestones · 11/01/2019 17:18

@pixie welcome to the thread. I’m pretty much the same as you. IVF baby, 2 previous mmcs, pcos. I haven’t yet had my booking in appointment so it’s useful to know I could also be classed as high risk.

So happy to hear you had a good scan. ❤️

UnicornDust17 · 11/01/2019 17:52

@Bakingabean how did your blood test go?
