Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

@Chocolate89 Lovely scan pic! Baby looks a healthy size 😊 x

Cobblestones · 10/01/2019 13:10

@calmercomber hope you feel better and you’re out of the hospital soon. How were you functioning with being severely dehydrated 😱 thank goodness they checked!

I’ve woken up today feeling slightly better 🤞🤞 made myself a French toast else it was just biscuits and cereals for breakfast. #babysteps

emma1224 · 10/01/2019 13:23

@Chocolate89 aww that's a lovely clear scan
So amazing how quick they grow as I had one at 8 weeks and it was a little bean

So glad it all went okay x

Hsmumma · 10/01/2019 13:44

Wow great scan pictures, don’t think I’ll be having one till 12 weeks which seems ages away!

bubblegumunicorn · 10/01/2019 13:50

How long did it take for people to get a date for there 12 week scan? I had my booking appointment on the 20th of dec and I've heard nothing! I'm 11 weeks on saturday so it should be with in the next 2-3weeks right? I'm starting to think the letter has been lost in the post!

emma1224 · 10/01/2019 13:52

@bubblegumunicorn I went to my doctor and they referred me to my hospital where I chose and the midwife called me to sort out meeting her by next week I had two letters one from midwife and the other was my dating scan I got these about 3 weeks ago just before Christmas x

bubblegumunicorn · 10/01/2019 14:06

@emma1224 When I rang my midwife team to chase up they just said you will get a letter and that's it they wont have much to do with you before 16 weeks which sucks

ScotsBaby2 · 10/01/2019 14:33

@CalmerComber hope you have got away today with a wee scan too. Are you feeling better?

sunshine1987 · 10/01/2019 14:33

@bubblegumunicorn I would ring your hospital. I had a booking in appointment 2nd January and had my scan through couple of days after for 24th x

Cobblestones · 10/01/2019 15:22

Ladies does anyone else feel like something is stuck down in the throat all the time? It doesn’t hurt but it’s just this yucky feeling of something lodged there for days now and it won’t go away.

RaindropsRoses · 10/01/2019 15:28

Cobblestones are you nauseous? I have that feeling constantly too with the feeling sick

What a lovely scan pic chocolate89!

bubblegumunicorn I would chase them up as they can only do the nucheal fold measurements for downs syndrome before 14 weeks if you were opting in for that x

MrsRyan15 · 10/01/2019 15:32

@Chocolate89 that's a great scan picture. I'm also 10+4 today and had a private scan yesterday. It's so reassuring to see them, I feel much more relaxed about everything today.

I'm still not quite ready to tell friends and family yet, so sharing my scan with you lovely bunch.

@CalmerComber sending you lots of get well wishes. Good that you are being looked after and hopefully they will do a scan to check on baby and reassure you. x

August 2019 Part 3: nausea, scans and big reveals
Cobblestones · 10/01/2019 15:44

@raindropsroses yesss nauseous for many weeks now but this feeling of something stuck has been there the past week

@mrsryan that’s a beautiful picture! And must be so reassuring

Jelliestogether · 10/01/2019 16:02

Lovely to see all the scans coming in. I had my midwife appointment this week and have sent my scan request off so fingers crossed I get it soon! I just can't wait to see the little one!

@CalmerComber glad your looking after yourself!

I took the advice on here to try and get some meds for the constant nausea, the chemist said no and I have been unable to get a gp appointment. Hopefully I can get one tomorrow as I'm just not managing! And I have to go back to work next week and at this rate it's not going to go well!

Rebootandtry · 10/01/2019 16:45

My sickness stopped on Monday and now it’s back again Sad

CalmerComber · 10/01/2019 17:02

I am home! And I have some good drugs. Now on sofa. I feel like such a crap mum to DD though. Poor thing.

Moncwf · 10/01/2019 17:46

@CalmerComber sorry you are so ill! Hope you feel better now you are hydrated and that the drugs help. Don't worry about your daughter, a few weeks of lots of TV won't hurt her!

PinkLady89x · 10/01/2019 17:56

@CalmerComber hope you feel better asap!
So the brown I noticed yesterday appears to have stopped immediately after so I'm hoping that's it.
Can I ask, has anyone else had a bad lower back? Mine feels very achey 😫 x

Nursiemum27 · 10/01/2019 18:12

Lovely seeing all the scab pics! Still suffering constantly feel sick and rubbish, not able to do hardly anything at home after work so feeling like a pretty bad mum to the dc at the minute!!!

Bakingabean · 10/01/2019 18:17

@pinklady89x I have a sore back on and off too, but I am mildly hyper mobile so have been warned by my chiropractor (who specialises in pregnancy luckily) that this might be the case. And I’m also learning to walk again after a serious ankle injury so I’m putting it down to walking unevenly!

Bakingabean · 10/01/2019 18:18

Oh and jealous of all the lovely scan pictures! My 12 week one is next Friday. I’m really anxious about it!

ScotsBaby2 · 10/01/2019 18:31

I can't be bothered! I want to just lie and do nothing. Nothing at all! NOTHING! Well, maybe play on my phone. I also need to do something to get warm. I've not felt toasty warm in weeks.

Message to everyone

I've been on the web and come across a women who lives right near me

Acupuncture- Ment to help ease morning sickness and nausea
I'm ringing my midwife tomorrow to see if this is safe - I've read the reviews of so many pregnant women who've had this done and I'm slightly intrigued as read some great things
Have I missed anyone mention this before ???

clairelee17 · 10/01/2019 19:03

@Bakingabean I'm also very envious of people's scan pics! Mine is less than 2 weeks away and I'm so nervous and anxious. Just wish it would hurry up! Xxx

pixietheginger · 10/01/2019 19:11

Jumping on the threat quite late... IVF baby here after 2 MC, 9+3 today, EDD 12th August. It'll be my first.

Been feeling really anxious and haven't been getting my hopes up due to previous MC history, but had a scan this evening at the IVF clinic and feeling a lot more positive after seeing the little alien moving around, it's got arms!

I had my midwife booking appointment on Tuesday and I've been classed as high risk and been told I'll be consultant-led. Does anybody know what that means?
