Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

emma1224 · 08/01/2019 00:16

@stylix1981 I got signed off and it does take the stress off you because you find yourself getting worked up because you ain't feeling well x

TDLO · 08/01/2019 00:25

Hi all, sorry to be posting bad news, I'm ducking out of this thread, having an mmc and just deciding on next options. Heartbroken, but hopefully will be on a future thread soon. Wishing you all good luck for your pregnancies xx

emma1224 · 08/01/2019 00:30

@TDLO sorry to hear your sad news
❤️

PinkLady89x · 08/01/2019 02:15

@TDLO I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. I've had a mmc before and know how awful it is ☹️. Take care of yourself x

I've been woken up with an awful stomachache and turns out, also bad diarrhea! Like water actually (sorry tmi!). Considering I've been quite constipated for a ages, this doesn't seem right. Can't help but worry now. I did have a lot of children run up to me at work yesterday, hugging me and then one said, quite closely to my face, how they had been very sick the day before 😳... I can actually hear the noises my stomach is making 😫. Hard to know the cause but I sooo needed my sleep this evening 😫😫

sacrecoeur0712 · 08/01/2019 06:20

@TDLO so sorry for your loss, take care of yourself.

@Ninunina and @UnicornDust17, sounds as though we are in the same boat. I’m wondering how the progesterone will make me feel as already feeling rough. I’m also on a low GI diet due to suspected PCOS (which may have caused previous MCs) which is becoming increasing difficult as the nausea gets worse Confused

Blueberry2018 · 08/01/2019 07:19

@TDLO So sorry to hear your news :-(

@PinkLady89x Oh no! Not good! Rest up and lots of fluid if u can!!

Blueberry2018 · 08/01/2019 07:20

@ScotsBaby2 Im the other way, constantly boiling. To the point where i am sleeping with the window open at night!

QueenofFox · 08/01/2019 07:23

@TDLO I'm so sorry to hear this. Hope to see you pop up on a future thread.

@ScotsBaby2 with my first baby I was so so cold, couldn't warm up. It's definitely a symptom! Haven't had it with last two - one was preggo through the summer and this one haven't been outside all that much and have the heating Sky-high. Our bills will be insane!

lickencivers · 08/01/2019 07:57

Sorry who ever said up thread their BP was 90/50 that IS low (hcp here) are you symptomatic at all?

ScotsBaby2 · 08/01/2019 08:14

@TDLO so sorry for your loss.

Twitwooo · 08/01/2019 08:29

@TDLO so sorry.

I also have low blood pressure. Yet to have my booking in appointment but with my last pregnancy it was low and kept getting lower every check up until the very end when it increased slightly. Wish we could keep maternity notes as I am not sure of the numbers but was 80/ low 40s at it's worst. I told the midwife my vision randomly turns white from the corners iyswim and when I sat down on the toilet I'd often feel like I was going to pass out. I was quite concerned and she was just happy it's not high bp and told me that 'the body normally doesn't allow itself to faint' Hmm. That sentence stayed with me! Same midwife this time around so I don't expect anything to be different in that regard.

UnicornDust17 · 08/01/2019 08:31

So sorry @TDLO I also suffered a MMC in October 2017, please feel free to message me if you have any questions about deciding hour options, I will spent hours on Google trying to to work out what would be best.

I hope you have lots of support around you. Sad

OctoberGirl91 · 08/01/2019 09:23

I am so sorry @TDLO, I had a MC in October and your head is probably spinning right now, be kind to yourself and take care xxx💕

OctoberGirl91 · 08/01/2019 09:24

Hi ladies

I'm a really Debbie downer today! Boobs feel deflated and not sure unless I wear a wired bra for a few hours, minimal nausea and still battling this urine infection! I just don't feel positive in 7 weeks and I really feel like blah, I'm extremely tired.

Just have a feeling bad news is around corner as this is week on my last pregnancy I had a small red bleed and private scan confirmed heartbeat had gone 😒😓 xx

clairelee17 · 08/01/2019 09:58

Hi @OctoberGirl91 I know how you feel. I'm just passed the 9 week mark which was when I started to bleed on last pregsnnfh and subsequently lost it. When the previous landmark week creeps up, it's such an anxious time and all you do is look back. But please don't, this pregnancy is different. It won't be like the last one. Keep yourself busy.

I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and feel like my symptoms are disappearing. I'm still extremely tired with sore, aching boobs, but nausea has gone which is great. Just hope all is still ok xx

Cobblestones · 08/01/2019 10:12

@TDLO I’m really sorry I hope you have plenty of support. It really is an awful thing to go through

I’m also on progesterone. Both cyclogest and the really painful prontogest injections. I was told I should be able to stop them after 12 weeks. Fingers crossed that stage comes quickly.

Cyclizine didn’t work for me either. From google it sounds like it is the first line of anti sickness medicine and doesn’t do much for many people.

@octobergirl somebody here mentioned they spoke to their local EPU about symptoms reducing and was able to get a scan which was reassuring. Maybe try doing that if you haven’t already?

Whoopsies · 08/01/2019 10:13

Been to the gp this morning to already get back on the Omeprezole for my acid reflux. I've spent the last few evenings with my head in a bucket, but I'm sure it's reflux more than just pregnancy sickness so really hoping these help!

PinkLady89x · 08/01/2019 11:02

@OctoberGirl91 I know the feeling. I'm now mid way through week 6 and last time mine stopped growing at 5 + 6. After that illness last night, I seem to have lost the nausea. I'm feeling quite down about that today because it's been so bad and it's too early for it to go. Such a stressful and worrying time x

emma1224 · 08/01/2019 11:16

@lickencivers that was me! Yeah I've had a few , going continuously dizzy, blurred vision, tired

I did tell my doctor this prior to meeting my midwife and they checked it and that and my bmi was low but didn't say anything to me just kept telling me your pregnant it will be fine however midwife thought that they should of referred me to the early pregnancy unit xx

ScotsBaby2 · 08/01/2019 11:31

I checked my notes from last time and my blood pressure was around 90/60 for the whole pregnancy until 37 weeks where it started to climb again.

I fainted once in Paris when it was very very hot and felt light headed a few times through the pregnancy but I was told it was nothing to worry about. Expect your pulse rate to rise as well.

Anyone wanting to going the Facebook group just pm me via Mumsnet on a web browser. It won't work on the app.

I'm also little miss worry wart. I can't get out my head that something isn't right. I see the midwife on Monday when I'll be 9+ 4 weeks. I don't know if she would refer for an earn scan or hope that my scan is before 12 weeks. I doubt it though. Eek. I don't know. I don't know if I should just phone the midwife and tell her my worries.

@ScotsBaby2 you got to keep your notes? Shock so jealous. Mine were taken off me when transferred from midwife care to hv. I got to keep two bits of paper about the delivery as midwife said it would be useful info to pass on for next time Confused

Poppy012 · 08/01/2019 11:51

I've sent a message to join fb xx

Moncwf · 08/01/2019 12:01

@Twitwooo you can apply to get them. I got mine, under the new GDPR they can't charge you either. Should only take a couple of weeks to come through.

ScotsBaby2 · 08/01/2019 12:31

@Twitwooo I got paper notes to begin with as they were changing over to electronic notes at the time I had about 5 appointments with paper then the rest moved over to Badger electronic notes.
