Part 3 already!

A list of those already on the bus. Welcome to newbies. It's the countdown to 12 week scans. I think I have nearly a month to wait though :-(

Moncwf glad its not just me! All of my 4 dc have been born before due date (between 1 and 12 days) so do think this will be an august baby. Its just ive not even booked in with mw yet and lots on here have had scans or have scan dates! Although i imagine a lot are following a loss or other issues

Kcjoe · 06/01/2019 10:02

@IVEgottheDECAF I'm due 28th August according to early scan. I worked out 30th with my dates. There's a few of us at the end of the month.

@Moncwf I spoke too soon. I was hanging over the toilet after writing that but only smallish amounts of fluid came out and not proper sick. Sorry if too much info! Feeling rough now x

IVEgottheDECAF · 06/01/2019 10:13

Is anyone else starving all the time and eating everything in sight? Dont remember being like this in previous pregnancies!

EverythingNow · 06/01/2019 10:16

@ivegotthedecaf I'm due 5th August based on my dates (lmp would be 7th) but all of my 3 have been really late and 1&3 were induced at 42wks. I'm expecting this one won't show up until at least 19th whereas some of the late August due dates will probably arrive before me!

IVEgottheDECAF · 06/01/2019 10:41

That is true i suppose everythingnow

Is anyone else on baby 5 or more?

KMic · 06/01/2019 11:12

@IVEgottheDECAF the past 2 weeks I genuinely think I ate enough to sustain me for a month! Ridiculous!! However the nausea has calmed down a bit today which also means the hunger / need for food has too! I'm 5lb up already 🙈

Chocolate89 · 06/01/2019 11:50

@Emma1224 i know exactly what you mean! I have lost 3 kilos since the start of pregnancy and they were kilos i can't really afford to lose (starting bmi 17.9) think it's because I've been unwell the past few weeks but still v stressful! Im living on milkshakes at the mo trying to get calcium and calories in.

PinkLady89x · 06/01/2019 12:09

Ugh! This is definitely different to when I had a mmc... this sick feeling is so awful. I can barely think about anything else. I literally feel nausea all day long. Yesterday I was actually sick but usually it's just the awful feeling.
I'm a teacher and going back to work tomorrow and dreading feeling like this 😳. I hope my class of 5/6 year olds are well behaved 🤣. Also, over Christmas I've been getting up sooo late! How on earth will I survive 5.45 alarms 😱😱.

emma1224 · 06/01/2019 12:15

@Chocolate89 I know I was tiny to start with so couldn't afford to lose any I was actually looking forward to gaining some pounds but this nausea hasn't let me, I've read online that it is normal and aslong as we begin to gain into the second trimester it should be okay! I tried milkshakes but they rebounded back up 🙈 I may try them again now it's more nausea than actually being sick and see how it goes!

Hope everybody is feeling okay xx

Bakingabean · 06/01/2019 13:42

I'm actually feeling ok today. Nausea is minimal, I'm not starving all the time so am not eating to get rid of nausea, and for once I actually slept reasonably well. DP is away for work so having the whole bed to myself might have helped!

Kinda feel like I've turned a corner from feeling constantly rubbish. 10+4 today so maybe hormones are settling? I say this and tomorrow I'm going to feel hideous again aren't I?!

Blueberry2018 · 06/01/2019 14:45

@PinkLady89x I share your pain, Im back to teaching tomorrow too, although i have 4/5year olds so wish me luck feeling like this!!!!

RiseYeSunkenShips · 06/01/2019 15:03

Good luck to those of you who are teachers! I’m lucky my work is fairly quiet for the next week or two and I’ve just got some training this week so don’t need to put too much effort in!

Not feeling too bad myself today, little bit of nausea but nowhere near as bad as it has been

Notanotherpawpatrol · 06/01/2019 15:55

For the past few days I've been feeling kicks 🤔😱 I know you feel baby kicks earlier the 2nd time around and this is baby number 5, but even so, I thought I was only 10 weeks, far too early for kicks.
So.... I had a good feel of my tummy last night and realised my uterus is higher than it should be 🤔 I went back to my diary and realised I recorded a weird bleed as a period. I no longer think that was a proper period and looking back at my dates, I think I may be 14 weeks 😱 that fits in with the symptoms I have, the high uterus and the fact I was throwing up, but feeling absolutely fine before I was pregnant. I think I was around 6 weeks then and it was morning sickness, not a weird bug I put it down too 😂 seeing a midwife for the first time tomorrow and hopefully will get a scan ASAP!
Sorry to all those experiencing pregnancy anxiety, I always feel the anxiety subside when I start to feel baby move around regularly.

ScotsBaby2 · 06/01/2019 16:01

I'm so tired. Why won't my baby sleep? 💤

What's everyone been up to with their Sunday? It's lasagne and salad for dinner tonight here. Yum.

@notanotherpawpatrol I felt dd2 move at 11wks. Dd1 was 16wks and dd3 I had an anterior placenta so was gone 18wks.

I'm 10wks tomorrow and keep thinking I feel something, probably wind though!

Cobblestones · 06/01/2019 16:13

@bakingabean I’m 10+2 and for the first time today I too feel like I’m sligthly better. The nausea is usually such that I can barely talk and just feel like sitting hunched over ready to puke. But today I’ve been functional. Hope it’s nothing to worry but a normal transition to the end of first tri.

@notanotherpawpatrol how amazing would it be to go from 10 to 14 weeks overnight!

Btw question for first time mums and those who can remember their first pregnancies - when do you actually start to feel a bit round in the uterus area? The area is so flat. I mean I’ve got that ugly fat around the waist which is thanks to my high carb diet these days and the slowed metabolism. But below the fat where the baby is - it’s just flat. Hard but flat. So keen for some signs of a rising uterus.

Notanotherpawpatrol · 06/01/2019 16:22

Cobble, unfortunately with dd1 it wasn't till I was 20 weeks that I really started to show properly, rather than just being a bit fat

PinkLady89x · 06/01/2019 16:22

@Blueberry2018 good luck! Lower ks1 and reception are so cute but hard work 😅. I'm actually quite excited to see the children 😊.

I can't help but get a bit more excited because this time round I've got terrible nausea. I remember when I went for my private 8 week scan last time saying that I had no symptoms at all, no sickness or anything. I'm currently only 6 weeks and feeling so sick so I feel like things might be different this time. Hopeful thinking! When is the nausea meant to ease off? 😅😅. I have a constant flow of saliva (sorry tmi) in my mouth and I do have a weird taste, sort of metal, quite sour.

IVEgottheDECAF · 06/01/2019 16:34

I felt dc4 move between 11 and 12 weeks if i remember rightly!

I thought i felt something the other day but im only 6+2, pretty sure im not any more so must have been wind 🤣

IVEgottheDECAF · 06/01/2019 16:37

Oh and i work with under 3s 🤨 they will definitely have no empathy of my feeling rough!

Whoopsies · 06/01/2019 16:40

Glad to hear some of you are also feelings symptoms lesson . I feel better today, no where near as sick. I'm 9+3 so feesable to be starting to feel better, but still it's worrying!! Can't win.

I'm definitly starting to feel a tiny bit rounded down there when I lay down, but this is no 2 for me and my stomach muscles are shot!!

Sympathies to those going back to work. I'm a sahm to ds, but he's at school full time now so plenty of time to rest. Was supposed to be returning to work but this baby has put that on hold!!

IVEgottheDECAF · 06/01/2019 16:43

I think after this baby i will return to work but very part time, school hours or less maybe.
I am doing a degree through the OU and atm with fulltime work, uni and 4dc my life is chaos.

Bakingabean · 06/01/2019 16:55

@cobblestones it's such a relief isn't it?! I'm hoping it's a normal transition, and hoping it will continue!

My scan is on the 18th so only 12 days to go.. it's torture!

EverythingNow · 06/01/2019 17:17

@ivegotthedecaf I'm in my final year of an OU degree too. I'm currently supposed to be writing my tma!

UnicornDust17 · 06/01/2019 17:18

@Ninunina if it's any reassurance I've had brown cm too for a bit, but I'm not worrying unless it goes pink or red. Had scan yesterday and all was OK
When is your NHS scan? Maybe it was forgetting the progesterone? Hioe it settles down soon
