@clairelee17 my dp had the same dream the other day! He dreamt I gave birth to puppies!

CalmerComber · 05/01/2019 13:20

@RiseYeSunkenShips pairing some of the better carbs is a good shout. Seedy oatcakes with Philadelphia or houmous are nice. I’ve not really got a sweet tooth but I’m just so sad that it prob means no bread or pasta until August - it was awful last time. DD wasn’t even that big - 3.57kg at 41w. I really hated the side effects of Metformin and was so pleased I managed to avoid insulin so if I can manage by diet this time then that will be even better.

clairelee17 · 05/01/2019 13:22

@Bakingabean that's unbelievable! How weird!! I wonder what it means!

Osney · 05/01/2019 13:42

Greeting All! Can I join the back of the bus? I notice from your list you've a space on 31 August...After 3 years hard graft I'm finally expecting my 2nd. Smile

Cobblestones · 05/01/2019 13:51

I’m sorry so many of you are going through a hard time waiting for your scans. It really is so hard not to overthink every single thing. I’ve battled with nausea and vomiting last few weeks but my boobs are barely sore or any different and I keep getting these cramps in the abdomen/vagina which the doctor dismissed as being due to gas but ofcourse my brain refuses to accept that and imagines the worst.

So if it’s not one thing, it’s another..

Moncwf · 05/01/2019 14:01

@RiseYeSunkenShips I've been having really vivid dreams. I think it's the progesterone. I woke up feeling sick the other morning. I'd had a dream I was trapped in a tent rolling down a hill Envy not envy!
@clairelee17 maybe it means you're having multiples?!

Moncwf · 05/01/2019 14:02

Welcome @osney, I'm only a couple of days ahead of you, also expecting #2

RiseYeSunkenShips · 05/01/2019 14:16

@CalmerComber same, my DD was only 3.2Kg. I was ok with wholemeal carbs last time so long as I went for a walk after, so I made my own wholemeal pizza - I don’t think I could cope that long without it!

@Cobblestones, it’s hard isn’t there’s always something to worry about. I had a shower the other morning and suddenly realised I didn’t feel sick and panicked, nausea came back by the time I was ready tho! Hope the cramps go away soon.

Glad I’m not the only one having weird dreams! At least they’re a good sign if it’s the progesterone :)

Osney · 05/01/2019 15:30

@ScotsBaby2 can I join the fb group please?

Bakingabean · 05/01/2019 15:38

@nursiemum27 after you mentioned Philadelphia it’s all I’ve been able to think about! Finally managed to get my hands on a bagel with Philadelphia and cucumber. ‘Twas glorious! I’m tempted to stuff another in my gob!

Nursiemum27 · 05/01/2019 15:44

@bakingabean it’s magic stuff I tell ya!!!!having to go to Tesco now as dh ate the last of it, told him it’s for me not anyone else 😂

ScotsBaby2 · 05/01/2019 17:08

@avacadooo how did the scan go?

OP posts:
avacadooo · 05/01/2019 17:15

@ScotsBaby2 went well, totally forgot cause I'm binge watching Brooklyn 99.
Just about wet myself cause they were twenty minutes late and the receptionist acted as if we were best friends cause I worked with her years ago but can't remember her at all so that was awkward.
Little beast is measuring right and has a good heartbeat and we saw it wiggling.

I'd recommend the scan even though I know stuff could still happen at least it's reduced my anxiety for the time being since I've still got a month until my nhs one!

Went for breakfast after and I couldn't eat it cause I suddenly hate bacon and the waiter was so nice and took it off the bill even though it was my fault I couldn't eat it!

RiseYeSunkenShips · 05/01/2019 17:33

Lovely scan pic @avacadooo, I’ve got mine on Wednesday when i’ll be 9wks and can’t wait, just hoping everything’s ok!

avacadooo · 05/01/2019 17:38

@RiseYeSunkenShips aww, it's so good getting one done! It's so weird to see it wiggle.
Also forgot to say earlier my dreams have also been bizarre so I'm glad you mentioned it, I don't feel like so much of a weirdo now!😂😂

Has anyone else thought how weird it must be for the poor thing to be moving it's paddle arms one week and then sprouting fingers the next? I can just imagine it being like wtf am I meant to do with these 😂

UnicornDust17 · 05/01/2019 18:06

I had a reassurance scan today, 10 weeks, because I have minimal symptoms and I am having real trouble staying positive.
Scan went really well, saw arms legs and a lot of wriggling going on. Wouldn't stay still for a good picture. NHS scan on 22nd,

@ScotsBaby2 please can I join the FB group?

emma1224 · 05/01/2019 18:07

@avacadooo lovely scan picture!! Yeah I think That spesh coz if the app on baby progress sends your mind wild lol

Nausea is back tonight 🙁 keep telling myself it won't be long now x

ScotsBaby2 · 05/01/2019 18:09

Lovely scan pictures @avacadooo and @UnicornDust17

Anyone wanting added to the Facebook group just needs to private message me their email address. You can't pm on the app so it would need to be on a browser.

I can’t believe how much they look like babies already in your pics! When I had one for my DD it was just a little blob!

UnicornDust17 · 05/01/2019 18:30

Ahhh cute pic @avacadooo

clairelee17 · 05/01/2019 18:48

@UnicornDust17 and @avacadooo fab pics! I'm quite envious now, thinking I might do the same! I'm 9w4d, and have my NHS scan on 23rd Jan, but like you @UnicornDust17, really having trouble staying positive. The anxiety is just dreadful. If I haven't cried every day in December, I've been nearly on the verge, and I don't suffer with anxiety at all but it's really getting to me. Having previous mc doesn't help the situation either.

Does anyone else feel nauseous when they go outside and hit the fresh air? Most of the time that happens to me xx

emma1224 · 05/01/2019 18:55

@clairelee17 we have our scan on the same day Smilexx

UnicornDust17 · 05/01/2019 19:23

How are you today @OctoberGirl91?

UnicornDust17 · 05/01/2019 19:27

And how are you doing @Chocolate89? Are you feeling any better?

Chocolate89 · 05/01/2019 19:33

Aww feeling a bit better thanks @unicorndust ❤ have 2 weeks off work to recover so just trying to rest up and eat right! Love your scan pics, very excited for my one next wed, I'll be 10+3.
@avacadooo lovely pic of your wee baby!
